  1. There were only three "squeaker" wins...at Miami (but they scored late to make it a 3 pt game), vs. Rams, and vs. Pats at home. The closest other win was 7 pts at the Raiders. The Tennessee and KC games skewed the early season numbers, but particularly after Arizona the Bills were wiping the floor with everyone.
  2. Don't say that, he's a tremendous slouch.
  3. Had my first draft yesterday…12-team PPR, QB passing TDs worth 6, QB/2 RB/2 WR/TE/2 Flex/1 Superflex/D/K. Basically the Superflex position makes it a 2 QB league. Picking 10th, snake draft. One keeper; mine was Jefferson who I picked up as a FA last year. He counted as my 10th round pick! QBs went fast and furious, with Mahomes, Josh, and Lamont going in the 1st round. I grabbed Dak with my 2nd pick. Overall my draft was mediocre (6th out of 12 on a ranking site) but I do think I got a bit of a steal with Beasley in the 13th round. 2nd (and final) draft tomorrow night. 10-teams, also PPR, QB TDs worth 4.
  4. I have no earthly idea why anyone would “vomit emoji” this post or “lol” it. Folks got issues…are we really at a point in this society in which we “hate on” good people simply because they didn’t play a game the way we wanted them to?
  5. Oh, they will…the Pittsburgh press will be all over Big Ben’s regression…
  6. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
  7. Allen is going to continue to improve, in both his decision making and his intelligence with respect to what he sees on defense. There is literally no reason to believe otherwise. Fairburn just needs to provide content for his employer. The question isn't whether Josh will regress. The question is just how high is his ceiling.
  8. Interesting. I’ve been playing FFB for years and have never done an auction draft either. I like the snake draft, but I suppose it’s worthy of investigating further. Agreed on not taking a QB 1st overall, but if you’re in a 2 QB league they can start going towards the end of the 1st.
  9. It is WELL known that if you ‘dis’ the Bills their fans will go ape-Schmidt. I don’t click on any of these guys any more. Wright is about as douchey as they come.
  10. The only games I watch outside are Bills games I’m attending. Everything else I typically watch inside.
  11. The Phillips/Lawson decisions were pretty easy ones in my mind and I wasn’t upset when they left. It would have shocked me for either — but particularly Phillips — to duplicate or increase their production at their next stop. Unfortunately with Star opting out, Harry rehabbing a knee, and Murphy being “done” the additions of Addison, Jefferson, Butler, and a not-ready-for-primetime Epenesa were simply not enough to make this a D line worthy of respect. Looking back, it’s almost astounding the defense played as well as they did in stretches. But that’s beside the point. Not bringing back Phillips and Lawson was the right move.
  12. Geez…another Ertz thread?
  13. I’m not sure if you were serious, but nothing you or any of us do has any impact upon a football game. If you want to isolate yourself because of your own peculiarities be my guest, but don’t for one second think it affects the outcome of the game.
  14. Let the BBFS go…you’ll be glad you did.
  15. Ben played against the Bills last year. Their front seven have new pieces, and their back four are questionable. The Bills’ OL is “very mediocre?” In whose rankings? Buffalo — a team coming off a 15-4 season — has the most continuity in the league, an MVP candidate QB, and are playing in front of a packed house of their fans for the first time in more than a year and a half. Why are fans so afraid of this game?
  16. Nailed it, @Richard Noggin. I simply can’t believe players like Beasley, Davis, Milano, Klein, and Star — guys who see the best chance they’ve ever had to win a SB before them — letting their teammates and coaches (and fans) down out of sheer ignorance.
  17. You know what the drought, and then seeing a good team, did for me? I’m done pining for the prospect with great talent who just can’t seem to stay healthy. That’s part of making it in this league. I like Hodgins but he’s just another practice squad guy to me until he proves differently.
  18. Perhaps your problem is that you view vaccination as a political issue?
  19. Hey, can we get a Mod around here to edit that misleading title?
  20. Is Lamont also a flat-earther?
  21. It's an amazing story but I don't think the word "amazing" even does it justice. I feel ashamed for predicting the Bills would trade Efe instead of Bam; if I had read this before I would not have made the same prediction. Who knows how Efe's drive and desire will translate on the field this season, but he has earned himself the respect and admiration of this fan.
  22. Love it. I was just about to post something similar but you encapsulated it perfectly.
  23. A lot to unpack right here. “To be honest” — one of the most telling phrases in our language. It’s either simple laziness or a suggestion that the speaker feels a need to alert his audience that he’s not full of b.s. THIS time (which is typically untrue). What REALLY “strains credulity” is that you took the time to come into a thread about a topic you “honestly” don’t care about to demean those who do have an opinion — not to say the board creator and administrator himself! Well done, you.
  24. Bummer about your mom, man, but good on you moving back to help. I’ll always love the Williamsville/Amherst area; if I ever moved back it would be there, Orchard Park, or downtown.
