This is all well and good but Boogie was a late 2nd rounder who played at a high level in a power five conference. It just seems like an odd guy for Simms to single out as a potential bust. Pretty much everything I've read about Boogie suggests he has a reasonably high floor, taking him out of that "bust" conversation IMO.

I’m going to call b.s. on just how much “film” Simms has watched of these two DE prospects. Rousseau was a risky pick for a couple of reasons (opt out, inexperience), but how he showed on film wasn’t one of them. Same for Boogie — nothing but production for WF. Simms probably felt he needed to pump the brakes on Buffalo with all of the Josh Allen ball washing.

LOL — yes, I’m sure he could read that. I think the point of the question is WHY would that “drive someone crazy?” I agree, it seems a bit odd to be concerned about such a thing.

I have a feeling the atmosphere at that game may rival two seasons ago when it was literally 50-50 in terms of Bills/Oilers fans. Got my tickets over a month ago. Will be a blast. Oh, and from what I recall the Oiler fans are cool.

Generally speaking, yes, but not when you have an MVP-caliber QB entering his prime. Those predictions are actually pretty easy. It’s ridiculous to look at Buffalo and Miami right now and predict Miami will be better in three years.

Yep. Don’t see too many defenses who are going to slow down this offense, and I expect the defense to be markedly better as well, which should lead to more points.

That wasn’t the question. Nailed it. Only a buffoon looks at the current situations in Buffalo and Miami and concludes Miami will be “the team to beat” in 2024.

None of the reporters covering the NFL have any idea the level of competitiveness Josh possesses. At the end of the day we’ve got a guy with Brady’s fire and the best physical tools the NFL may have ever seen. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Agree completely. Beane and Addison apparently spoke right after the draft. We don’t know what was said but whatever it was, I’m thinking Beane will want to abide by his words.

That was my favorite throw of the year as well. I remember looking at the replay and thinking "that's impossible." Another favorite is the TD to Kumerow vs. Denver. An absolute rocket; that one had extra mustard, ketchup, relish, you name it. I'm surprised Kumerow's hands still had skin after he caught it.

There's an interview with the OL coach (Bobby Johnson) in today's Buffalo News. I think it's a good read. He admits they didn't run the ball well enough and while nobody expects the Bills to become a run-oriented offense they clearly want to block it better when runs are called. In other words, they don't think the run offense last year was sufficient. That's not necessarily a surprise but it's reassuring to hear a coach say the things you expect him to say.

Leave it to @GunnerBill to bring rational arguments to the conversation. The jury is still out on Tremaine Edmunds but the potential is there, and anyone who claims to know he "has no instincts" and doesn't make impactful plays is just blowing a lot of smoke or has an agenda.

“Allen may be the most physically gifted QB to ever play the game.” Just think what happens as JA gets even more experience. Those throws are absolutely stupid. There isn’t another QB (yes, I’m looking at you, Mahomes, and you, Rodgers) who makes several of the throws on that first video. Unreal.

I absolutely don't get the Flores hype. A 5-win season is not a "miraculous" job. McD getting the 2017 Bills to 9 wins, and then the talent-purged roster in 2018 to 6 wins, are much more impressive feats. McD is still underrated and Flores is overrated.

I park in those spots if I’m in a hurry. There’s no law protecting parking spots reserved for anyone but the handicapped, so I view those designations as “suggestions” rather than limitations.
