  1. Is anyone on the Packers gruntled?
  2. Maybe we can get him on the cheap.
  3. Damn you, sir, for digging up this abomination of a thread. The Duke won’t sniff this roster.
  4. There is a setting on Game Pass to hide scores.
  5. That makes the tally cars 3,263,540, bicycles 0. So saddened for the Knapp family.
  6. So Ben lost 10 lbs so he can…run more? His arm sure isn’t getting any stronger. I will say the opening game does make me a bit uneasy. Tomlin is a master motivator and the Stillers will be working the disrespect angle big time leading up to 9/12. Thankfully the Bills are the much better team and are playing at home.
  7. Apparently a disgruntled @BADOLBILZ had an autograph request declined by Eric Moulds early in his career.
  8. 1-3 in the playoffs. Baltimore in their current iteration are a team built to win lots of regular season games. Well, what's wrong with that, you say? Nothing really, as it means everyone keeping their jobs and annual playoff appearances. I don't know of anyone, though, who thinks that offense is going to win a Super Bowl. I think if Lamar was going to make a jump forward as a passer it would have been last season. A sinister part of me hopes they continue to own Cleveland, though.
  9. Boom goes the dynamite. Just read that average life expectancy in the US dropped 1.5 years last year. Whether you believe all reported Covid deaths are truly from Covid or not, the impact of the virus is undeniable.
  10. Don’t tell us you are seriously disputing that you are an all-time whiner…
  11. Man, I hope he recovers. Just awful. I have a lot of friends who are passionate about biking. I tell them they’re nuts for riding on main roads because cars and trucks remain undefeated in their matchups vs. bikes. They don’t like it when I say that because they think the laws should protect bicyclists and punish vehicle drivers. I tell them it’s irrelevant who the law protects when you’re in a coma, shatter your spine, or can’t walk again.
  12. You're right, the reporters seem less grumpy now that they are covering a reputable team/organization.
  13. Vic is one of the good ones...not afraid to be critical but also willing to acknowledge team and player successes. Too many "reporters" these days think it's a crime to actually be positive about something.
  14. What, no "Spencer for Hire" jokes?
  15. @Rochesterfan I'm admittedly higher on Knox than a lot of people...I think he is in the same "raw" mold as Allen was coming out and if (hopefully) he has now learned the position he is ready to break out. I do believe Daboll can create some mismatches with he and Hollister. We'll see. It's fun to pontificate though!
  16. Just my opinion, obviously, but I think Baker's already pretty close to (or at) his ceiling.
  17. The Bills need to run the ball more effectively. Notice I said "more effectively" and not just "more." 21 personnel with Knox and Hollister gives them better blocking, those two guys are NOT easily covered with a LB or S, and if other teams do try that there are fewer guys in run support. You still have two WRs on the field, plus either Moss or Motor. The offense needs to be diverse. They aren't going to shift away from a passing focus but they can give more and different looks that are just as dangerous.
  18. Casual means you enjoy it, you're just not that into it. There's nothing "real" or "unreal" about it. You like the Bills; I get it -- you're just not as obsessive as a lot of us are. It's cool, man -- nobody's saying you're not a "real" fan.
  19. Yeah, I tend to agree. Can’t see 11-6 out of a team with Cam or the rookie behind center. Their defense will be very good, though.
  20. He won’t. Fear not. Cleveland has righted the ship but Baker isn’t in the same class as Mahomes and Allen. I think the Chargers made a really good hire in Staley, and if Herbert builds upon his rookie season the Bolts will be a problem for KC. The Baltimore love is entirely based upon Harbaugh and their front office history; they’re just an incredibly solid organization. That said, the decision to hitch their wagon to Lamar Jackson and a run-centric offense in this day and age will come back to bite them in the ass. They can’t walk away from Lamar now.
  21. I instantly felt less intelligent for reading that. I think Jefferson was an excellent pick and looks to be an NFL star, but Vikings fans’ insistence on continuing the “locker room cancer” narrative with respect to Diggs is silly. Good luck getting to that Super Bowl with Kirk Cousins as your guy.
  22. Your take sounds like that of what I’d call a “casual” fan, which is completely fine, but I don’t think many of us who come to this message board are casual fans.
