  1. Pretty much this. I don’t know who ESPN’s “well placed source” is for the news that broke over the weekend but if the Pegulas threatened the state with leaving Buffalo I’d be shocked. And as far as Austin goes, that’s simply a comment about a city who wants a team, not a “threat” the Bills will move there. NYS officials know they need to keep the Bills in Buffalo. I hate leaks like this but some a$$hat wanted to make him or herself more important. This stuff will take care of itself; I’m on to Pittsburgh.
  2. Scott, you can look up the stats yourself. These are two players who have, over the past five seasons, produced remarkably similar performance. At one time Houston was a feared pass rusher. Now he’s simply a good solid veteran. I didn’t say Baltimore made a bad signing; I said I don’t see why Beane would think the Bills needed to sign him and cut Addison.
  3. Very happy Poyer got his life back on track. For a professional athlete I’m not at all surprised to see him get his handicap down that quickly. Golf is all about muscle memory and focus. Think too much and you’re doomed. An athlete conditioned to be disciplined can handle that.
  4. You keep repeating this but I guarantee you that’s not how Beane and McD look at it. Yes, the pieces are in place to be a legitimate Super Bowl team this season, but crazy things happen. The Bills as an organization are now “playoffs or bust — every year.” Lots of things need to happen to win a Super Bowl but I’m not wringing my hands over Beane not signing Houston and going with what he’s got instead. Addison had too many snaps last season and it limited his effectiveness — that’s a fact. He is also a “great locker room presence for our young guys” and a superb individual. With less work he is likely to be as productive as Houston. I love what Beane did for the DL this offseason. I also think Baltimore is a top 5 organization in the league and this is a good signing for them.
  5. Really small sample size, but the two games you mention from last year (SF and NE***) were absolute gems by Allen.
  6. The Bills have become a model organization from the top to bottom. I'm not even mad at Beasley any more.
  7. Can't believe I'm saying this but Brady* is a tough SOB. Go look up the replay of Nate Clements' hit on him. The dude bounced right up and was clapping.
  8. Apparently Tua threw a long pass in Miami camp today and everyone rejoiced.
  9. I can’t believe I’m going to be in Buffalo this weekend and won’t be able to go! Playing in a member-guest tourney at Crag Burn.
  10. You really never know what you’re going to read on this board…
  11. I love to pile on the Jests as much as anyone but who thinks this is a big deal? There's probably some offset language or some other b.s. Wilson's agent is insisting be adjusted, but losing a day or two of reps isn't going to make or break this kid's rookie season. Simply being a Jet will ruin this kid's season, if not career.
  12. That's not bold...it's almost a sure thing.
  13. He was playing hurt. I don’t have a dog in the fight but I’ll give him a chance to see how he plays when healthy.
  14. We didn’t? Did you watch the run blocking?
  15. America LOVES watching Josh Allen and the Bills. I can’t tell you how many friends of mine (who are not Bills fans but know what a diehard I am) have told me how much fun the Bills are to watch now. The news has gotten out — Josh Allen and the Bills are must-see TV.
  16. And that, I believe, is Gug’s point. The QBs are Lamont and The Punk. They just don’t compare to Mahomes, Brady*, Allen, and Rodgers.
  17. The Gate are the best. Consistently hot, crispy, and great flavor. Bar Bill is 2nd for me. But if you post a Beef on Weck poll Bar Bill wins it.
  18. Just because it was likely doesn’t make it any less interesting. If I’m a Green Bay fan I’m not thrilled. How motivated is Aaron this season? How likely is it he will try to “get along” with LaFleur? He will get his payday with the next team regardless of what he does this year, and Love is clearly not ready or Green Bay would have already traded Rodgers. This season has a “meh” feel all around if you’re Green Bay. I hope Rodgers goes to Denver. Let the Broncos, Chiefs, and Bolts beat each other up.
  19. So Rodgers comes back for his swan song with the Packers, and Green Bay essentially agrees to trade him after the season. Interesting conclusion to this drama. Now, where does Rodgers go in 2022? New Orleans with Payton? Denver? Miami? Philly? I’d have to think Green Bay doesn’t want to trade him within the NFC but they may not have a choice.
  20. Glad to hear from you JW. I hope you can get us some valid info on how the Beasley (and now Feliciano) issues are potentially impacting the Bills’ locker room in our most anticipated season in nearly 30 years.
  21. Love is all you need (or so I’ve heard).
  22. We are so friggin’ lucky Josh wound up a Bill. Can you imagine Allen on the Ravens? They’d be favorites to win the next 10 Super Bowls.
  23. Is anyone on the Packers gruntled?
