I love Fitzy but man, that W-L record is brutal. He's also about the only guy I'm not mad at for having seven kids because at least he can afford them.

I don't know about insane, but he definitely takes the word "intense" to a whole new level. He's an old school meathead who seems to think the key to winning is simply beating the crap out of the other guy. I'm all for being physical -- and I hope the Bills' D becomes more physical this year -- but to have a HC who rants and raves like a Neanderthal doesn't inspire much confidence. I really wonder what the team meetings are like. Maybe he's just fooling us all and is much more composed behind the scenes. I doubt it, but who knows... I'd take even odds that the Lions will knock a QB out of a game this year with a "questionable" hit.

There really should be a separate forum of Sunday Ticket archives…I’m half-kidding but it would be entertaining. I’ve finally begun the process of eliminating DTV…deactivated three receivers this week and reduced my package down to the lowest tier. I have ST Max for free so I’ll keep it active on my two “main” TVs for the season. After W18 I’ll cancel DTV for good. If by next season there are no other ST options then I’ll pick it back up, at which point they’ll probably give me ST for free again.

If all the Pats*** can manage is QB play with a rating of around 78 for the season (Mac was 78.2, Cam 78.9), I think 7 wins is an optimistic projection.

Agreed. I think there’s a decent chance they finish 4th in that division this year and Kliff’s seat will start to get a little warm.

No, for the same reason that I thought it was dumb for Sean Payton to run plays for Taysom Hill when he had Drew Brees. If your QB1 is the best player on the team, why do you EVER take the ball out of his hands? I hope the only action Trubisky sees this season is during the next three weeks and then mop-up duty of blowout wins.

This is without a doubt the biggest criticism I have of those who bashed Allen after his 2018 and 2019 seasons. It's the same for those who bashed him pre-draft. Those folks only looked at raw statistics and a few high(or low)lights. A lot of us who watch every play of every game knew what was there; it's why before last season I predicted Josh would finish in the top 5 of MVP voting. I'm not upset at, and don't begrudge, those who have now flipped their narrative on Josh. Hopefully they have learned a thing or two.

Cowherd had Palmer on his show early after Josh was drafted and was at least willing to accept the notion he could be special. He’s been relatively fair to Josh thus far, and this was a very nice “tip of the cap” to Josh and the Bills for doing things the right way.
