  1. I was always keeping them through the season. Just deactivated three receivers. I have YouTube TV on all of my TVs now and DTV on the two I watch football on.
  2. Freaking brilliant by Demovsky, and Rodgers' reaction is awesome.
  3. Yeah, that's pretty much how it went with me. I called to deactivate three receivers and the rep offered without prompting that ST Max was free for me this year.
  4. I heard a not-so-unreasonable assessment of the Jests this afternoon that basically said they will suck for the first half of the season, but they play 5 home games during the 2nd half and that will give us an indication of which direction they are headed. My enduring memory of Saleh is the look of exasperation last year when Josh tore apart his defense and he didn't know what to do to stop him.
  5. What possible reason would you have for posting a 2007 Jerry Sullivan column about cash-to-cap in this thread? Dude, you need help. I've never seen someone root harder for a GM to fail than you vis-a-vis Beane.
  6. Sign of the times. The worst IMO is people who hold their phones (and sometimes tablets) up at concerts to record them. Jesus. Can anyone just enjoy the moment anymore? @Bill from NYC that story is absolutely epic. And disturbing. And hilarious. When I go to away games I'm always in Bills stuff but [pats self on back] I'm not a jackass and have never had a problem in any stadium.
  7. You're still a few emojis short of being like your big brudder BADOL...
  8. Umm, Thurman led the league from scrimmage for four consecutive seasons. Who else has done that? (Hint: nobody) He was also a big time playoff performer. Compiler my arse. Frank Gore is the ultimate compiler.
  9. Probably just wishful thinking, but I do think Mahomes has reached his apex. It's a great apex, but he's starting to get dinged up more frequently and health is a concern. As long as he is healthy KC will be a threat, but I don't expect them to continue to dominate the AFC as they have the past three seasons.
  10. Hear me now and believe me later, but the Chefs are at the beginning of the end of their run.
  11. I’m so glad I didn’t “pound the table” for any particular QB prior to the 2018 draft…I trusted Beane to do his research and make whatever moves were necessary to get his guy. I wasn’t in love with any one QB and saw strengths/weaknesses in all of them. I would have been ok with trading down and grabbing Jackson, for example. In retrospect it just all worked out so perfectly for Buffalo, and for Allen. As for Rosen…well, the knock on him coming out was to question his dedication, and that while he might have a higher floor than others his ceiling was also limited. Kudos once again to Beane for getting the guy with a sky-high ceiling, even if it took some work to get there. I don’t give Josh Rosen a second thought. “Bad situations” or not, the good/great ones rise to the occasion. He’s a historical footnote at this point.
  12. Way to overreact. In practice they are working on specific things. Nobody's trying to change the Bills offense into a dink and dunk fest.
  13. Just saved this info for future reference. Thx.
  14. Or the one calling out Kumerow for not showing up.
  15. That's just not how coaches and players think.
  16. Apparently Urban CAN quit Tebow.
  17. Yeah...there's absolutely nothing I can say that looks fun about that situation. Also why I generally opt for seats in the club section.
  18. Someone call the Shah!
  19. The most defining moment of the 2016 season for me was hearing Rex Ryan was fired, roughly two weeks after I penned a letter to the Pegulas informing them I was canceling my season tickets after 27 years because I'd had enough of buffoons like Ryan and sycophants like Brandon.
  20. I get the feeling reading this thread that some of you don't fly very much, and certainly not out of a small airport like Buffalo.
  21. You describe my experience almost to a T. I moved to Atlanta in '93 and that first season I was at a bar every week. When DTV came around I was first on the list and never looked back. Before they were absorbed by AT&T I had a six digit account number! As noted above I'm in the process of cutting my DTV cord but that's for reasons other than the Ticket. It has been a godsend for this starving Bills fan.
  22. Good find, Yolo...I could have sworn I heard Dion was vaccinated, which is why I was confused by a @Hapless Bills Fan post last week. I'm glad to hear it, although obviously he still needs to get himself in shape.
  23. I get why fans are worried about the D. I mean, Edmunds has no instincts, Milano is always hurt, Star is useless, Hughes is old, Addison sucks, Oliver is a bust, there’s no legitimate 2nd CB, Poyer/Hyde are due to break down, and if anyone gets hurt there’s crap behind them. Also, you can’t expect rookies like Groot to make a real impact. It’s a miracle if they don’t finish last in D. Have a nice day.
  24. I’ve done this many times and I think you have plenty of time. Are you TSA Pre-Check? If not, I suggest getting that; it’s amazing how much time you save going through security. The Buffalo airport is not large; there are no trams to catch between terminals or anything like that. I also suggest not having any checked bags and check-in to your flight from your phone ahead of time. It’s still funny to me how many people want “paper” boarding passes; you can have them on your phone and save yet another line. Bottom line; if you prepare the timing should not be an issue and you shouldn’t have to leave the game early. Edit: just checked my itinerary for the opener; my flight is at 6:59. Not worried a bit.
  25. Dude, you couldn’t even figure out that Jake Kumerow only played 11 snaps Friday night before starting a post about how he “didn’t show up.” I have a feeling a lot of things are “mind boggling” to you.
