  1. Yeah, I get the impression they want the seats to be more comfortable and have the stadium built in a way that protects many (most?) of the fans from extreme weather. I have no problem with any number between 60-65K (not that they’ve asked me). Can’t wait to see some renderings of the proposed build (I would like to see some drawrings).
  2. I really think the Fish are going to be a mess unless Tua suddenly becomes a star. What Flores did last year in managing the QBs was borderline negligence, and now reports are that he had to have a team meeting to tell them Tua is “our QB” amid the Watson rumors. Flores brought some toughness and discipline to the Fish but I don’t think they are any better than a 9-10 win club.
  3. I don’t know if it has already been mentioned, but I think this initial roster is a sign that the recent injuries to Levi, Taron, and Dane are not significant.
  4. Terrific post, particularly the line I bolded. I’m already waiting for the week 1 list of inactives and anticipating the posts in the pre-game thread.
  5. Jp-Era, is that you?
  6. Nothing to really add here, just dropping in to say, “ditto.”
  7. Its really just proof of how few fans actually pay attention to anything other than following the football.
  8. I remember the days when this thread was one of the most important on the board. Now, I read through a couple posts and tweets of teams like Detroit cutting all of their kickers and just chuckle. Its really nice to have a competent front office and complete roster.
  9. The Pats*** are going to be a handful, and painful to play and watch. They’ll be the 2nd best team in the division, not Miami. I still think Buffalo beats them because of Josh, but the games will likely be ugly.
  10. Sure, on paper playing a banged up Ben is better than playing a fresh Ben, I’ll give you that. I just don’t think it matters for this Bills team. How many games have McD’s Bills lost as a favorite?
  11. You may not “believe” in them but the Bills did it twice last year with Andre Roberts and Dean Marlowe. It happens.
  12. It’s good for us to maintain a healthy level of BBFS to begin the season. The bottom line is that the Stillers are just not a top level team any more. My concern is more that we’ve beaten them the past two years and they’re 7 point underdogs, so Tomlin will have them playing the “disrespect” card big time. As we all know, every NFL team has enough talent that on “any given Sunday” they can surprise someone. What gives me comfort is the fact that the Bills are better from top to bottom, and they are as hungry as any team in the league. They won’t allow themselves to be overconfident in this game and as long as they play disciplined football the outcome should not be in doubt. I think the revamped DL is going to give Ben fits, and Josh is just on another level.
  13. Fromm is a cut and resign to the PS. Anything else and I’d be shocked.
  14. Please, stop screaming.
  15. Enjoyed his reporting over Rodak but thinking about which ESPN beat writer is covering the Bills falls to about 87th on my list of things to worry about.
  16. Happy they kept Obada over Bam. Somewhat surprised, but happy.
  17. I for one am glad the preseason is mercifully over, so I can stop reading predictions of how teams are going to look that are completely wrong.
  18. Addison’s contract makes him untradeable (and they like his leadership). I’m guessing they move Obada if they can get a good return. Bam Johnson is a key STer as well as on a cheap rookie deal, plus he continues to improve as a DE. I think they keep him.
  19. I’ll be tailgating with my “regular” crew but hope to stop by…
  20. I don’t care why he did it. The point is he did it.
  21. No question it’s good.
  22. Zero. Point. Zero.
  23. Beane fixed the D line so we can get after Pattie. Bills all the way.
