  1. Looks like it's time for my annual "trap games don't exist" lesson. There is NO historical difference in good teams' winning percentages against bad teams in the week before a supposedly "big" game.
  2. Just donated $43 for the number of points scored by Daboll's offense yesterday.
  3. My only correction for the OP is that Mahomes sat a year...he didn't "light it up" immediately. The Jests have a crappy owner. It makes a difference. I don't feel sorry for Wilson or any other Jest. Screw 'em.
  4. Umm, lighten up, Francis. I’m just busting your and @ScottLaw‘s chops. My point holds, however — while the stats were not great in the first two games I did not think Allen was “regressing” or playing particularly poorly. Those were two good defenses and he was still making good decisions. I’m pleased the bulk of posts this week will be about other overblown issues and not whether Josh’s extension “was a mistake.” Cheers and Go Bills.
  5. Suck it, losers.
  6. Yep. I don’t need anyone’s rankings to see he has been perhaps the best player on the Bills’ D through two weeks.
  7. Bit of a misleading title…sounds to me as though UB would love to be a part of the stadium…IF the stadium were closer to campus.
  8. I’m pretty sure Levi’s penalty last week was used as a “teaching point” this week.
  9. I haven't read through this thread but my overwhelming sentiment to Bills fans is to stop whining like babies. Buffalo fans have reaped the benefit of the cheapest tickets in the NFL for 30 years. Hell, I kept them for 27 years as an out-of-stater because they were so cheap. PSLs have been around for a long time; just be grateful for what we had and acknowledge that we are going to have to finally pay market price to enjoy a nice new stadium. Totally worth it to me. And an ancillary benefit is that more expensive seats means fewer idiots.
  10. And she does this weird enunciation thing as well...it's so annoying.
  11. First, let me state, unequivocally, that I have no issues whatsoever with women sports announcers -- as long as they are GOOD. I hold them to the same standard as their male counterparts. That said, I find Mowins almost unlistenable. Her voice is just awful, and I'm sorry, that's a big part of being a broadcaster.
  12. Just the QBs wore it during the live practice. Can't add it to the poll unless they wear it in a regular season game. I agree it may look sharp, but there's no way it beats the classic blue over white.
  13. Loved watching Shady play for the red, white, and blue, and glad he was a big part of ending the drought. Also happy for him he backed into two rings at the end of his career. HOFer? I think so.
  14. Agreed. I didn't see a Buffalo win vs. Miami until I was 11 years old. They will always be my most hated. I don't think there's a football game I've ever rooted for the Fish in unless them winning would benefit the Bills. Nope. There's a certain level of respect I have for BB and Brady, and let's face it, the Bills just sucked.
  15. Oh I think he’s playing fine…but get a pass rush near him and anything can happen.
  16. It will be a shocker if the Bills don’t wipe the field with these Texan clowns in two weeks. Good lord, that’s a bad football team. Tyrod at least made them somewhat watchable. The Panthers don’t strike fear into anyone either…particularly if McCaffrey isn’t playing. Darnold was “ok” but if you even breathe on him in the pocket the ball comes out.
  17. That guy/persona is about as unfunny as a poster can be. No thanks. And yes, eff the Jests. And the Fish. And the Pats***.
  18. You were there? Damn, that’s some access.
  19. These teams suck
  20. Let's see where we stand...I'm particularly interested in the results of the helmet question.
  21. I had a dream last night that a cheeseburger was eating ME!
  22. Speaking of Dawson Knox...not too shabby thus far, eh?
  23. He is facing better defenses who are more prepared for the Bills offense. Compare Josh in W1 with how he did against Pittsburgh last year. In 2020 he posted a 77.5 rating. This year? 79.7. Fact: he has faced probably two of the toughest Ds he will face all year. He's made a few bad throws. He's making better decisions and becoming a better QB.
  24. @newcam2012 well, “anyone” includes, apparently, Jim Kubiak, who is not a Buffalo Bills employee. It’s all about decisions. I’m not concerned about Josh throwing off his back foot because his protection through the first two games has been spotty. He’s not “locking on” receivers and he is making good decisions to get rid of the ball. His running in key situations has been very good and that’s also a part of quarterbacking. Josh always needs to focus on “cleaning up” his footwork and I’m sure that is a part of what he’s working on. Did you watch the 2nd half of the Miami game? Josh was pretty damn good.
