  1. I'm sure they will sort that out once Lindy analyzes the roster and tells Adams what he needs...
  2. The “H-town” stuff is so NBA; don’t like it at all. I do like the red helmet and bull horn logo…
  3. This isn’t the 80s. You can have grit without needing to be a “fighting” team.
  4. No, they're not. They should have been in the playoffs this season; the roster is loaded with young talent and the farm system is excellent. They need structure, discipline, and the experienced leadership of someone who knows how to get them where they want to go. If you know Brindamour isn't leaving Carolina you are hard pressed to find a better hire for this team at this time...
  5. Interesting. I think the ONLY time it makes sense to make that kind of a move for a WR is if you already have a franchise QB...which of course the Bills do. You get the stud receiver "on the cheap" for at least three years...then rinse, wash, repeat. I think I'd be down with it.
  6. Vote for your prediction and explain why...let's see how many of us get it right.
  7. I dunno…you can make an argument the Sabres could/should have won two Cups with Lindy, and his overall playoff record is over .500. Is he an “exciting” hire around the league? Probably not. But I really do think he’s the perfect guy for this job at this time, and I absolutely believe players will buy in to his message.
  8. Which should be the number one goal. They desperately needed a coach with legitimate NHL experience to instill the structure and discipline required to compete over a full 82-game season and not just in spurts. There is no excuse for a team with this talent to miss the playoffs. Under Granato they were undisciplined defensively and horrendous on special teams. And judging by Mittelstadt’s comments after leaving practices were a breeze. I don’t know if Ruff is more than a one-year answer but I doubt there is a guy out there who wants to win in Buffalo more than he does.
  9. Close the thread. We have a winner. 👍🏻
  10. That "sleeve cap" looks like a sleepy eagle. Meh.
  11. Certainly not in your case. 😉 It really is a shame that you have to explain something that is so plainly obvious…but thanks.
  12. You know what? I am a super fan. I’m glad you recognize it! 👍🏻
  13. You mean the long time STH who benefited from the greatest deal in the history of professional sports for decades? Those STH? Cry me a river, buddy.
  14. When you post your opinion as "fact" you're going to get some eyerolls.
  15. Fans don't want to hear it or admit it, but the truth of the matter is that it takes a tremendous amount of luck to be consistently good in the NFL. You can have the best organization in place and have a mediocre team, or a bunch of jokers in the front office and luck out with your QB. The teams that stay consistently relevant have a combination of good luck with key draft picks and the ability to pivot and fix things that are going wrong through trades and free agency.
  16. Bring back Lindy! Perfect coach for this team. He'd kick their asses and give some structure.
  17. I think Josh Allen is as happy as a f*****g clam right now and excited to see what the Bills can accomplish without the Diggs drama.
  18. I'm not saying there aren't guys who are better or worse at it, but even Ozzie missed a lot. The goal is to be right enough of the time at key positions...but it's still anything but scientific.
  19. Are there? I think if you actually do the research you'll find that the teams you think are always right are in fact wrong just as much as everyone else.
  20. …which happens FAR too frequently for the Bills to continue giving him a shot. And let’s be honest: what big game do you look back upon and say, “wow, Jordan really made a difference and helped us win.”
  21. No grieving here over the Juice. Had a great life, couldn’t handle it and the rest was tragic and disastrous. Yet another stark reminder of how on-field exploits don’t translate into real world character. At least Nicole's and Ron's families know he's gone.
  22. I've celebrated three UNC national championships right on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill...it's pretty amazing. I think March Madness and the Super Bowl are completely different events/experiences and not really comparable. The Super Bowl is still the ultimate.
