  1. Of all of those moves, which one do you think the Bills considered “major” or the missing piece to a Super Bowl roster? Sometimes it’s helpful to bring back a veteran who already knows the culture and standard, rather than a complete unknown. They’ve taken their shots with new guys as well. Based upon what they’ve done in their tenure, do you think Beane, McD, and their staffs are “clowns” or don’t know how to build a winner?
  2. All because they may bring Jordan Phillips back? Wow.
  3. …the roster the Bills announce on Tuesday at 4 p.m. will NOT be the 53-man roster they begin the season with on September 7. I’d guess that 2-3 spots will change between Tuesday and the opener. It’s one of the reasons predicting the bottom of the roster is something of a silly exercise, since teams wait to see all of the cuts and typically someone’s discards fill a gap on another roster. For the Bills, I think the spots most likely to shift involve the OL and DL, particularly with rumors of Jordan Phillips in the house. Further, there are potential PUP and IR moves that may occur after a player has “made” the team. Just food for thought…it’s definitely a game involving some strategy as to which guys to release that they think they can get back on the PS. This is where a fair amount of “wink, wink” deals are made.
  4. Oh, this thread is gold for the “I know more than Beane” crowd. It’s gold, Jerry! Gold!
  5. Incorrect. The Bills told HBO they would not allow filming of player releases…which I respect the hell out of.
  6. Yeah, we’ve been over this before. You and the “Super Bowl or failure” crowd are a lot of fun. There are a bunch of us who are really enjoying this age of Bills relevance and a really fun (and good) team to watch. Believe it or not, 364 days of the year there is no Super Bowl!
  7. Actually all of his almost missed. Weird.
  8. This is a thread about the opening week game against the Ravens and Joey Bosa is fully healthy. Why is he a question mark for this game?
  9. The camera angle was misleading. I don’t think the kicks were as close to missing as you believe.
  10. It is? He’s been practicing fully for weeks.
  11. Bosa is in no way a question mark if he is healthy.
  12. Man, get over yourself. You’re living in one of the greatest eras of Bills history and this is what you write about? 6 straight 10+ win seasons and 5 division titles? To answer your question? I don’t know why you’re here.
  13. I think he makes the 53 because he can be a core STer and also contribute if needed at LB or S. If they release him he’ll get picked up by somebody for those very reasons.
  14. I think the TV angle was a bit off…he looked fine.
  15. Just realized nobody brought up the return of TBass. While I hate him missing the chippy late, he otherwise looked strong and there are hopefully no issues going into the RS.
  16. I just watched the condensed version so it was tough to identify some guys, but if Shavers isn’t on the 53 I’d be shocked. What a difference a week makes, however. Clearly McD lit a fire under these bottom-of-the-roster guys to play like it meant something. The secondary in general was awful, but Bishop had one really nice hit/PBI over the middle that was encouraging.
  17. Complete click bait and irresponsible. Pegula is paying his share as well as all overruns.
  18. I thought McDermott’s messages last night were poignant and delivered well. He’ll never be the most exciting public speaker but it seemed to me that he had everyone’s attention. I also laugh (once again) at those who think they “know” McD is boring or passionless. There’s no doubt he is encouraging his team to be aggressive and in attack mode all game long.
  19. After which the Pats*** are awarded a 3rd round compensatory selection.
  20. And neither left practice with an injury!
  21. Just saw PFFffffft's ratings for the game. Here are the top 5 Bills grades on offense: TE Jackson Hawes: 91.4 WR Deon Cain: 77.5 RG Mike Edwards: 74.3 WR Kristian Wilkerson: 71.6 RB Frank Gore Jr.: 67.9 I think this tracks. I didn't really notice Cain but agree with the others.
  22. I've also never heard Gabe utter a negative word about being in Buffalo. And we know Josh loves him. As a WR4 it makes a lot of sense. Cut Moore and trade Samuel. The WRs are Shakir, Palmer, Coleman, Davis, Shavers, and Shenault (for returns). Not bad at all.
  23. Everyone always talked about him being a great teammate. I think the problem for most fans who have responded in this thread is that they envision Gabe as a poor #2 WR -- which he was -- and not the player you're suggesting he could be here. He'd be one of the best WR4's in the league. If he is willing to accept that role and the $$ is right...why not?
  24. Perhaps you might have considered that on a Bills forum the topic of the new stadium and all of the associated details would have already been discussed at length. Or maybe that’s just me. Real grass! Yay!
