  1. Congrats Jimbo! If the game wasn't such a blowout he might have broken 300...an amazing performance.
  2. I've got one of my entries alive in a pool that started at 817 and is currently at 121. My picks so far: Denver LA Rams Seattle Buffalo Detroit Green Bay Kansas City Indianapolis I think the Pats*** would be a solid pick this week (at home vs. Atlanta) but I have a strange feeling they are about to lay an egg, and of course if I pick them they'll do just that. So...I'm going with the Chargers at Tennessee. I don't love taking road teams but the Titans are awful.
  3. Oh, guilty as charged. I think I've just finally grown up; the ridiculousness of what goes on around here has opened my eyes. I'll still contribute, but I'm not getting into debates about personnel, playcalling, and other things over which I have no control. It was actually quite wonderful to spend the last two weeks reading nothing about the Bills, and then going to Charlotte yesterday to see a Bills Mafia takeover and dominant performance. I watched the TV broadcast today and felt even better. I've said many times that wallowing in the mire amid a golden era of Bills football makes no sense to me. It takes a whole lot of luck to even get to a Super Bowl much less win one, and the ball just hasn't bounced our way. Blaming this or that or being "angry" at the team's management doesn't do it for me. I'm going to be a long distance ST holder in the new stadium and the Bills are my favorite sports team by far; this board, unfortunately, has just gone overboard with the negative know-it-alls and crusaders. My posts moving forward will be either of a positive nature or intended to elicit laughs or a smile. Go Bills!
  4. I think you're letting the Buffalo Bills occupy just a wee bit too much of your time.
  5. I and Mrs. Eball will be there. Driving in Sunday morning and heading to Tavern on the Tracks. Seats in 311.
  6. It sure is nice to see the Sabres playing well…and beating Toronto is always fun to send their fans home in a surly mood. At least they had the Jays win to celebrate. This Lyon guy is a revelation.
  7. LOL, Panthers signed Mike White for intel…
  8. I’ve seen people put a couple of stadium chairs in their man cave or sports watching room as a memento…but I also get your point. Can’t wait for the new barn to open.
  9. Sounds good, trying to get the Mrs to buy into leaving home a little earlier.
  10. I’m pretty disgusted by this board right now; it’s a complete s-h-i-t-s-h-o-w. The Bills are still a top Super Bowl contender and “fans” are acting like the season is over. There are reinforcements on defense coming in and if anyone thinks Josh Allen isn’t his own biggest critic they haven’t been paying attention. I’ll be rolling into Charlotte on Sunday morning. Probably no time to tailgate but if there is we’ll head to that Tavern place (no idea where it is but I have Google). Club seats for the game (because my wife deserves it) and then back home Sunday night after celebrating a victory. Go Bills, but I believe I may have finally outgrown this place.
  11. Apparently he’s about to be fired. Lots of violations and UNC will avoid a buyout clause.
  12. And…Herbert just threw a terrible pick at the goal line.
  13. I can’t believe “3+” is an option in your poll…lol Look, Diggs was a huge part of Buffalo’s resurgence and Allen’s growth. I don’t begrudge him anything and have great memories of his time as a Bill.
  14. Oh, I know the history, but Colts fans didn’t become Ravens fans. That fan base sucks and they’re obnoxious as hell.
  15. You know what? Eff ‘em. The Ravens are another entitled fan base who were handed a team who almost immediately became a Super Bowl contender and has won two trophies. They’ve never “suffered” and one can argue they’ve actually underperformed even when healthy. Of the AFC teams I dislike outside the division, the Ravens are at the top of the list (yes, even above KC).
  16. Yeah, that’s what I said. Who said it wasn’t? Those fumbles were killers…were they not?
  17. They will by me…this era is rapidly approaching that of the early 90s as my favorite in Bills’ history. A Lombardi will merely be the cherry on top.
  18. I’m sure this is coming so I’ll address it now: this thread is NOT a suggestion that fans shouldn’t discuss the team’s weaknesses and opine regarding ways to fix them. I both expect and welcome that sort of discussion. If people are truly reflective they understand the difference between doing that, and a lot of what is happening on this forum currently for a friggin’ 4-0 football team.
  19. I don’t disagree with any of that, @BuffaloBillyG
  20. And they didn’t really stop them, either. Those two RB fumbles were killers.
  21. Everyone but the Dorians has a chance to play Sunday. That’s good news.
  22. Congrats on the upcoming birth!
