  1. I’m not a huge Miami expert…we’re always in the South Beach area and it’s great just walking up and down Ocean Drive. You see a lot of “stuff.”
  2. I hear ya, @Augie…it has taken some of the luster off for me as well. But some (I’d say most) of these kids are still great kids. The Heels’ Caleb Wilson, for example, who will certainly only be there one year, is a really thoughtful kid who respects UNC’s history and really wants to be there. He’ll be fun to watch.
  3. LOL, that would be me. The “trap game” talk always cracks me up. It’s relevant in high school and college sports…not so much the pros. It’s just one of my pet peeves in broadcasting and the way people talk about games. Fans get caught up in overlooking opponents or betting with their hearts. Professional players don’t. NFL players and coaches understand that the margin between winning, losing, or getting your asses blown out is razor thin. If they don’t give it their all they are toast.
  4. Yep. This one is my 5th in a row and they’re always a ton of fun. This year in particular, I believe it will truly be a takeover. Ate at one of the Havana 1957 locations on Ocean last night. A bit commercial but great food, mojitos, and live entertainment. Taking a bike tour today with food and drink stops along the way. Dinner tonight at Zaytinya. South Beach is fun.
  5. Anybody catch the Tar Heels last night? What a 2nd half. We might be back, boys…
  6. Cheers, Bill! Have a great evening!
  7. Would love to see Palmer get back in there this week and see some targets.
  8. Pretty good considering how we felt on Wednesday!
  9. Oh Bill. Trap implies one team is taking it lightly and your own post states the obvious…the Bills must win this game. No divisional game is a trap. Could the Bills lose? Sure, but it will not be the result of them overlooking the opponent.
  10. Sounds like a fun plan!
  11. You haven’t been paying attention to who is buying the tickets. The retention rate of ST holders is high. The new stadium will be significantly louder than the current one.
  12. Good point. How about the scenario where we are the 1 seed AND both Baltimore and KC miss the playoffs?
  13. This will be the first time taking it but it seems straightforward. Google GEICO HRS shuttle. Uber to and from the lot to catch the shuttle sounds way better than where Uber drops off and picks up if you take it all the way to the stadium. I already booked my Ubers and they were both very reasonable. I should add that tailgating is not important to us because we are in a suite so we get there at 11 and start the party inside.
  14. I get where you’re going with this but the Bills haven’t won a road playoff game in forever. I’ll take our chances at home (even though I think we have a game that travels this year).
  15. Which reminds me…guns don’t kill people, Nigel Bradham kills people.
  16. Bills fans need to get out of the Rich/Ralph mindset and understand they are about to have an elite stadium experience.
  17. The only reason to root for Denver in this game was to prevent KC from winning the division…but woof, their offense was not good.
  18. On way to Miami now. We stay on South Beach — lots to do and see. On Sunday will Uber to Lot 95 and take the free shuttle to the stadium. Go Bills!!!
  19. You're saying Jimbo can't dance?
  20. Well, I guess the good news is that if Cook had a high ankle sprain it’s extremely unlikely he’d be practicing.
  21. It's gonna be a bit muggy...but still not as bad as the heat stroke game a few years ago.
  22. Did I miss something?
  23. I have met more Bills fans recently who have no ties to Buffalo than ever before. They love Josh Allen.
