  1. Did you watch the football games or not? Which offense looked more competent and reliable?
  2. Jones, Jackson, Dodson, Epenesa are the “musts” in my book. Rapp, Edward’s, Lewis, Matakevich, Johnson are “would be nice”…the rest of ‘em can bugger off.
  3. Frazier’s a good man and solid DC. That doesn’t mean we should be “concerned” if he goes to Miami. And by the way…as accurately stated by many of us, Leslie’s “year off” was the softest firing ever.
  4. I haven't read through the whole thread. What do people think of Tez Walker?
  5. So sorry for your loss; you have my deepest condolences.
  6. Brady was thrown into a very difficult situation mid-season, having to use Dorsey’s playbook and figure out how to make things work. He did an amazing job under those circumstances and showed an ability to find what’s working and stick with it. The game plan against KC was fantastic, and but for a couple of execution errors (and one less LB injury) I think the Bills would be playing in two weeks. Does anyone believe that what we saw is all he has to offer? He now has an opportunity to put his own stamp on the scheme and I am excited to see what results.
  7. I’ve got good friends who are huge Ravens fans so I’ll be pulling for them. I don’t “hate” the Chiefs…I’m just sick of them. We don’t need Mahomes playing in yet another Super Bowl. In the NFC the Lions are the feel good underdog story so I’ll be rooting for them. There really isn’t anything I like about the 49ers. Scratch that; I guess I do like Deebo.
  8. There is only one answer to this "mystery" -- substance abuse by all four involved.
  9. Yes! All we need is for someone else to give them losses so we can finally get them in the playoffs at our....um, nevermind.
  10. Very well written. End of an era indeed.
  11. I know what you told me (about Dorsey) and I don't think what McD says constitutes a "lie"...I don't think he can tell the press something like that.
  12. There's a difference between acknowledging something and using it as an excuse.
  13. To be clear, I'm rolling my eyes at your first statement, not the second...
  14. Well, what I like is that I haven't heard him "blame" injuries one time. Focus is on preventing what occurred to get to 6-6. And he's right about KC. The Bills have made strides and are right there...just have to get over the hump. Is McD the guy to do it? Jury still out but he's not going to be fired any time soon so what choice do we have but to get behind the team?
  15. Are people really having a problem with what McD is saying?
  16. Whatever, man. Mahomes QB rating for the game was 131 and his QBR was over 90. He played great. The Bills still should have won.
  17. Scott, you're like a little kid on Christmas morning...this is your favorite day of the year.
  18. The "adjustment" the Chiefs' defense made was to put 9 in the box on first down. I have no idea why Josh didn't audible out of those runs up the middle. We knew the Bills' D would be under the gun...I can't blame them for this loss.
  19. How is that any different than any other team? Mahomes had a play a perfect game to beat the Bills...and he did.
  20. Here to eat my crow, but there is NO reason the Bills should have lost that game. No, we couldn't stop Mahomes but the offensive plan was brilliant for most of the night -- move the ball methodically and control the clock. We were too predictable with some of the 1st down runs in the 2nd half but still, at the end of the game, had a chance. Josh ignored two easy "layups" on the final two plays before the missed FG...and then, of course, 45-yard FGs should be automatic in this day and age. I do think a healthy Bernard in the middle would have made a difference but that's just an excuse. Catches by Sherfield and Diggs on dimes by Josh would have helped also. This one just sucks, plain and simple.
