  1. You have the strangest (and most persistent) axe to grind with the Bills over this stadium. It’s so odd. New Highmark is at the leading edge of technology and design for a roofless facility, and it looks very modern and cool.
  2. OP wins for the most confusing thread title of the week.
  3. Nobody keeps trying to promote 2nd rate football more than promo…
  4. So this is interesting. I put down the $250 deposit last year, and a few weeks ago got an email that they would not be able to offer me season tickets in the new stadium. Oh well. Then, this week, I saw a call coming in from the Buffalo Bills so I answered. It was a rep calling me to ask if I am interested in premium seating. She knew I was out of market and that I had season tickets (club) in the past. Long story short, I have a Teams meeting with her next week to see their presentation (since I can’t go to the “experience” locally), and then I’ll have an opportunity to buy. I just might do it. All of the preceding discussion aside, I do think I could at least break even and get to go to a few games each year (with playoff priority). I’ll let ya’ll know what happens next week.
  5. Slightly? It's a joke of a tweet.
  6. The level of his intention is irrelevant. He put the puck out of play, therefore it is a delay of game penalty. In a game where many penalties are subject to interpretation, this one is refreshingly simple and straightforward.
  7. Waiting for all of the high and mighty Squealer fans who said “I want nothing to do with Rodgers” to start buying his jersey. 😂🤣
  8. The late great Joe Paterno recognized this deeply...he often explained why he didn't "trust" players at times is because they were college kids and who knows what was going on in their personal lives. The QB's girlfriend might have just broken up with him. We all know that '22 season was an emotional roller coaster for the entire team; was Josh supposed to be the superhero who rose above all of that? I think it's unfair to put that on him.
  9. Josh has admitted that he gets too “hyped up” at the start of big games. That’s not a “didn’t work hard enough” or “doesn’t care enough” issue…if anything it’s the opposite. I just think the amount of supposition and guesswork in this discussion is nauseating. There are SO MANY factors that have to fall into place to win a Super Bowl. Just think of all of the “lucky” breaks Brady and Mahomes have gotten along the way that Josh hasn’t. Josh is one of the best playoff QBs in NFL history. I don’t care that the last two seasons the offense didn’t get it done at the end; they missed a FG and Kincaid dropped a catchable ball. KC ran a blitz look they hadn’t shown all night on the last play — is that because Josh didn’t work hard enough? Good grief. I really don’t care whether Josh watches more film than anyone in the NFL. He obviously takes care of himself and has worked his a$$ off to transform his game year after year. The “Mahomes wants it more” takes are ridiculous.
  10. Some people just like to watch the world burn…
  11. To imply -- no, directly say -- that Josh Allen doesn't work as hard as he could or should when you have presented no evidence to back it up is quite ballsy. Care to explain?
  12. Are you a speech writer for the current president?
  13. We’re in the midst of the second “golden era” of the modern Bills…if you’re not enjoying it and only worried about SB titles you can go pound sand. Just my $.02…
  14. Well, first of all, we don’t even know what the end result will look like unless you’re just basing your comments off prior renderings. But that said, wow, I couldn’t disagree more. I think it already looks cool, and will wind up being a modern building with a cool industrial-like vibe that fits a former steel city perfectly. I am 100% certain the engineers addressed sunlight and how that moves across the stadium during September-January, and either it won’t be a factor or it’s going to be to the Bills’ advantage. I have great memories of Rich/Ralph/Highmark but to me, it looks like a bush league venue now. Can’t wait for this massive upgrade.
  15. Does it really matter? I mean, we all just want to shout at the TV…”RUN, FORREST, RUN!!!!”
  16. Former players interviewing current players is almost always a snoozefest. I think McAfee does about the best job of it these days.
  17. Wood, for better or worse, gets lost in the shuffle as a “drought guy.” Nobody remembers which offensive lineman stood out when the team is mired in a 17-year playoff hiatus. I think Wood was a good center but I’m pretty confident McGovern is better.
  18. The Bills didn’t say the canopy would cover 60%. They said 60% of the seats are covered — which includes the seats in sections that are underneath other seats. The new stadium set up is very vertical and “stacked” — it appears that fans are going to really be on top of the action.
  19. But let’s be honest…it’s not as if there is any sort of “secret formula” to coaching and running an organization. Hard Knocks is really just about getting to know the personalities of some of these guys, which is its appeal. As fans we get very little of that.
  20. The first game last season bears no relevance to the discussion. But thanks for participating.
  21. This is the guy I’m looking out for as well. Super-smart, great guy, and plays with an edge of nastiness.
  22. The app is basically the website.
  23. I was a unicorn to my friends in the early Aughts; the "poor Bills fan" who would never give up. Their tune has changed.
