Come on, guys...this was low-hanging fruit. Obviously the shipment was intercepted in route.

If your strategy is to win the pool (rather than just "surviving") you try to avoid the most obvious pick of the week, as that one will be the most popular and if there is a big upset all of those people will be out. But yes, you do look for specific teams to pick against.

Bills are too obvious this week. After my first glance at the slate I like the Packers, Titans, and Chefs.

I'm glad that worked out well for you Sunday. You do realize that the "kill them with kindness" philosophy tends to yield good results, right?
-
I know, right? I'm surprised more people aren't talking about it.
-
Well, at least we beat WFT so our playoff tiebreaker status should be 💯

Well, the results are in. Best Bills uniform combos: White helmet w/ charging buffalo (by a 2-to-1 margin) Blue over white at home (in a landslide) White over white on the road (just edging out white over blue)

Buffalo News has a good article up this morning about the OL play specifically against WFT. Bottom line: no sacks by that DL is tremendous for a team that dropped back 40+ times, but Ford had his hands full with Payne. Still, very positive signs going forward. I don't even pay attention to run-blocking analysis any more. That's not who we are.

The Buffalo Bills, Built for the Future of Football

Good post. I’ll add this…play action is important, but you don’t need a “strong” running game for PA to be effective. Daboll knows this as well. I think the RBs the Bills have complement this offensive strategy perfectly. Motor has the shiftiness and acceleration to break an occasional big play, and Moss has shown to be a tough runner and good pass catcher. They both are proficient at blitz pickup — a must in this style of offense. -
You people are something else. This has become a Tyrod and Edmunds thread. Christ. Can somebody tell me something about Davis Mills? He had one good drive last Thursday but otherwise…meh. Have to think Frazier’s D will eat him up. This game has the makings of a Trubisky 4th quarter that is not due to injury. You know the Bills see the KC game on the schedule next week but that whole “humble and hungry” approach has me confident they aren’t looking past the Texans. 17 is a big spread, but the Bills are coming off a +35 and +22 against better competition…

I feel like this thread is missing that “expert” opinion we all crave.

Picking up Edmunds Option a Rare Beane Mistake
eball replied to Billy Zabka's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve come to the conclusion that Edmunds is a pretty good LB who works well within the Buffalo defense. Is that the guy I want to pay top-5 LB money to when his contract expires? Nope. But he’s also not JAG. The retention of Milano last offseason looks more and more like the steal of the offseason. If they both stay healthy the Bills’ D will be just fine. -
LOL. The truth of the matter is that only fans and the media believe the “trap game” nonsense. Sure, some players look ahead at the schedule, but in the NFL each and every player knows if he is not focused in the moment he is ripe to be embarrassed.

My favorite play from the KC-LAC game yesterday was “showman” Mahomes throwing a no-look pass for an interception when it was completely unnecessary.- 83 replies

Look it up, bud. By the way, nice game by Mac yesterday!!!

Cue the "oh great, he will torch the Bills for two TDs in two weeks" guy.

The Pats*** are the biggest surprise. Just awful yesterday. We need for Baltimore and Cleveland to split. The Raiders have done well but I’m not yet a believer. Hopefully they and Denver do enough to saddle KC and LAC with another loss or two. It also looks right now as if drawing the AFC South this season was a blessing for Buffalo.

Just a bit different than after W1 when it was gloom, doom, Josh-can't-play-in-front-of-crowds mayhem around here and we were going to be lucky to sneak in as a wild card.
