I think I'm the bad luck charm...see below
eball replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can't do it...I'm in a suite this week! The streak ends Sunday. -
I was thinking to myself that is has been a long time since I saw the Bills win in person, and it got me researching. Holy crap. The last Bills win I saw in person was the opener on September 13, 2015 -- Rex Ryan's debut -- vs. the Colts. Since that time I am 0-12: 9/20/15 -- L vs. NE*** 9/11/16 -- L @ BAL 9/15/16 -- L vs. NYJ 10/30/16 -- L vs. NE*** 9/17/17 -- L @ CAR 11/12/17 -- L vs. NO 9/9/18 -- L @ BAL 10/29/18 -- L vs. NE*** 9/29/19 -- L vs. NE*** 12/8/19 -- L vs. BAL 1/4/20 -- L @ HOU 9/12/21 -- L vs. PIT The good news/bad news? I'll be at the game Sunday. Time to end this miserable streak!!!

Does anyone else sort of avoid this place after a loss?
eball replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ahh, but if it were only that...just peruse the front page of this board for the few days after a loss. The threads are brutal and have nothing to do with constructive criticism of the team. -
Hard Knocks in season Indy Colts starting 11/17

Yeah, I was just going to post something similar. The Bills play the Colts in OP on the 21st. -

I’ll say it again…you’re just a weirdo. The point isn’t having a rational discussion, it’s sifting through umpteen ridiculous hot take threads. Grow up. -
Particularly now that the Bills are a good team, I find myself participating much less frequently on the board during the week after a loss. I lurk but post much less. The threads get ridiculous (well, even more ridiculous) and it's exhausting. Is it just me?

Highmark Stadium now requiring vaccination for entry
eball replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
And this is the justification behind not requiring vaccinated attendees to wear masks. Covid may still spread but it will spread less fervently and with less severity. Those who are vaccinated understand this and are willing to accept that small risk. The unvaccinated are without a doubt those with the highest risk of being infected, being superspreaders, and suffering more severe infections. it really is that cut and dried. -
Going with Browns, Green Bay, and Tampa this week.

SQUISH THE FISH!!! That is all. Carry on.

I’m in two pools with 3 entries in each. Survived W1 with Tampa (3), Rams (2), and SF (1).

Lots of folks on this forum never let facts get in the way of their "outrage." Amazing. Kudos to the Bills. Get the shot.- 846 replies

ESPN's MNF broadcast is unwatchable

I will watch the Mannings this season for every game. They were awesome. -
What will the changes be at the stadium?
eball replied to Jpsredemption's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fixed. -
Fixed. I’m not even spending a lot of time on the board this week because I knew how it would look. One bad half against a top defense and suddenly the sky has fallen. It’s a joke. I’ll see you all on Monday when I return from Miami and everyone is gushing over another 4 or 5 TD Josh Allen performance in a statement road win.

I love that Peyton and Eli had absolutely no idea who Zay Jones was. Hilarious. Oh and eff the Ravens.
-
That Claypool catch and the Johnson TD catch were just outstanding individual plays by receivers with very tight coverage. Not much you can do other than tip your cap and say, "great play." The play of the Bills' D was very reassuring to me...yes, they could have gotten another stop but there were a number of plays the Bills "whiffed" on with respect to offense and ST that gave this game away.

Yes, and teams always play exactly as they did in week one in week sixteen. Carry on. -

Championships are often won and lost in week one. Carry on. -
Glad the Bills don’t worry about total rushing yards in this offense.

Keith Butler threatens Josh Allen's running, we will make him pay
eball replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whatever you make of Butler’s comments, they were dumb. Josh is now a face of the NFL and the league will be out to protect him. We’re about to enter an era of seeing OUR quarterback get the benefit of the doubt. -

Brady saved my bacon. Had Tampa in 3 of my 6 survivor picks… -
Is Keith Butler pulling a Chuck Dickerson?
