  1. Definitely not the same old Ravens D, though...that's where they are vulnerable.
  2. Who "hates" Lamar? A couple of us have fun calling him Lamont (which I will now stop), but other than that what has anyone done aside from point out what every other analyst has pointed out...namely, that he has not shown development in his passing ability that can offset teams scheming to stop the run. He took a huge step towards changing the narrative with that 2nd half last night. If "Bills fans" (since you want to lump everyone together) feel any particular bias against Lamar, it's probably because for the better part of two seasons Lamar got all of the publicity while Josh was routinely trashed, and I think most of us believe Josh is the better overall QB. Get over yourself, man. Of all people to talk about "hate" -- I think you might hate yourself, actually.
  3. I’m still trying to figure out who Dawkins held on that running play after we recovered the muffed kickoff.
  4. Do you have some black friends too? Jesus, you’re so enlightened.
  5. If you look back somewhere in the archives of this forum you’ll see a post I made prior to the 2019 season in which I pretty much nailed the trajectory of this team. I predicted 10-6 and playoffs in 2019, at least 12 wins and a division championship in 2020, and the beginning of world domination in 2021. Pretty spot on.
  6. Last year: Josh dinged up. Defense without at least a couple of starters. Covid scheduling nonsense. This year: Bills firing on all cylinders. Highest ranked scoring O and D in the league. The Oilers are banged up. They lost to the JETS. Their stadium will be filled with Bills fans. The Bills are now the big bad monster.
  7. I wish I could say anything about that message board was "hilarious" but I can't. It's a cesspool. Those are disturbed human beings.
  8. Obama may be quick, but he seems a bit too skinny to hold up to the rigors of NFL football.
  9. I rarely focus on OL play during my first (live) watch of a Bills game unless it's a replay of somebody getting beat for a sack, so I didn't really pay attention to Spencer Brown. How'd he do? Also, can anyone tell me how Cody Ford played? I mean, you know McD and Beane put him back into the lineup because he's a 2nd round pick...right?
  10. Me three. And I agree on the rain comment...they didn't want to risk him on a slick field.
  11. Tennessee is 22nd in yards allowed per game and 24th in points allowed per game. Buffalo is 1st/1st.
  12. Actually, it means if the Bills were home they'd be 9.5 point favorites. Also, the 3-pt bump for the home team is sort of silly next week...there may be 50% Bills fans in that stadium. I said it last week; the "blip" of a Pittsburgh game aside, since the Hail Murray the Bills are absolutely dominating their opponents in the regular season. Last 10 regular season games (excluding Pittsburgh): winning margins of 10, 10, 11, 29, 29, 30, 35, 22, 40, 18. It feels unprecedented. Oh, and their streak of getting at least 20 first downs is now up to 21 consecutive regular season games. This team is absolutely firing on all cylinders and there is no reason to believe they will take any different approach this week. Most points scored in the NFL and fewest points allowed. It's unreal.
  13. …and the best thing about this game being played next week is that there is no chance of a letdown. The Bills were embarrassed by the Titans last year; the redemption tour of 2021 continues!
  14. Team building matters. Culture matters. We are reaping the benefits of McDermott’s and Beane’s vision, and it’s only going to get better.
  15. The less I hear or read about Cole Beasley the better. I’m sure he will show up in many game plans for the Bills over the remainder of the season. He obviously wasn’t needed last night.
  16. That was difficult to read. What a bunch of Neanderthals. Makes me appreciate this place so much more.
  17. Worst announcing of the night was Collinsworth questioning the roughing call against KC that was 100x more severe than what they called against Oliver earlier.
  18. It’s gonna be a long day. Getting out to play golf this morning, then coming home to put up the screen in the backyard, prep the bar, and await our guests. My wife smoked two pork butts yesterday so the BBQ is ready. Should be clear and 68 at game time; perfect night for a backyard game-watching party. Let’s Go, Buffalo!
  19. “Opinion.” I was raised to keep my “opinions” to myself unless I had spent enough time vetting them that I wouldn’t come across like an idiot. You were apparently raised differently. Anyway, go Bills.
  20. I think the Bills should sign Star to a lifetime contract.
  21. I guess other teams have these feel-good stories and out-takes, but damn, I just think this organ-eye-zation really gets it. Love this team.
  22. Oh, I get it. It was just fun seeing the fans celebrate with the team on the field.
