  1. Go Bills. That is all. 🦬
  2. Is this a surprise to anyone? Seriously? Chucky suing the NFL and burning every bridge in his wake was about as predictable as the sun rising and setting.
  3. This, I think, is a realistic scenario. To the Jests the game is important because it’s a divisional opponent and they want to set the tone for the future. They will play hard. They have a little “giddy-up” in their step with White at QB. I just believe that at the end of the day, the Bills are motivated for bigger and better things and are embarrassed by what happened last week. They have a much better and deeper roster. And if you want to get the run game going the Jests are a good opponent…they gave up THREE scoring runs of 20+ yards to the Colts last Thursday night. I’m not predicting any scores…the league is too unpredictable…but I think there is at least a 50-50 chance the Bills cover the spread.
  4. This is a completely inaccurate statement. The Bills moved into Jacksonville territory on all but two of their possessions and I don’t recall even one 3-and-out. They were befuddled by penalties and lack of execution at inopportune moments. It was ugly, but they were still well over 300 yards in offense. The “I have no confidence the Bills will win another game” stuff is freaking hilarious. Vegas still thinks they are the Super Bowl favorite. We can admit and talk about flaws they have, but folks have gone completely overboard. Fans crack me up.
  5. Last we heard from McD is that he expects both back at practice…should know more later today.
  6. But is it talent or coaching?
  7. We currently have an average (at best) OL, but Dawkins is a good player, Morse is a good player, and Brown shows promise. Williams looks passable at RG. Cody Ford should never see the field again. I’d like to see Bates get in there. The problem seems to be a lack of identity and an inability to transition from pass blocking to run blocking; I am not savvy enough to understand if this is an issue of talent or coaching, but I’m leaning towards the latter. We have RBs who do not strike fear into any defense, mostly because they can’t get more than a 1/2 yard past the LOS before encountering contact. We have a top 5 QB who tries to (and usually can) do everything to will his team to victory. We have a top 5 WR corps. We have a top 5 defense. We have a top 5 placekicker. With the above combination the Bills are most certainly still a legitimate Super Bowl contender, but they have flaws on offense the coaching staff must scheme around. Daboll needs to look at what the OL can and can’t do, understand the way defenses are playing us, and devise a plan early in games to get the defense into the looks we want to see. He also needs to adjust during the game. He did this against Miami; I have no explanation for why he did not against Jacksonville. I knew this place would be a wreck after Sunday’s game. It was disgusting to watch. I’m not buying the “they didn’t care enough” b.s. (I mean, look at how the defense played) but someone needs to light a fire under the OL and get them to show some pride in what they are doing. How can they look at Josh taking a beating, and the way he addressed the media after the game, and not take it personally? I look forward to seeing what Bills team comes out on Sunday against a team we should most certainly handle. It will say a great deal about the rest of the season. Cheers.
  8. My condolences. To the point of this thread: McD had a lousy, no-good, terrible, awful day. He was bad. Daboll was bad. Nobody on offense looked prepared. It was a complete "throw the film in the trash" sort of affair. McD needs to be better and I'm guessing he knows that.
  9. I don’t. ERA is the most important pitching stat and goals against/save percentage are the most important goalie stats. When those stats are great, that player’s team typically wins.
  10. Finally, our long national nightmare is over.
  11. Funny. This particular look (white over blue, white socks) is by far my favorite road kit.
  12. This is a very misguided statement. While a powerful run game can absolutely enhance PA, PA does not need an effective run game to succeed. And while the Bills’ OL is only average, look at the 2nd half against Miami. We were running the ball pretty effectively. Everybody wants to overreact and think they can boil down any struggles into a simplistic statement. It’s much more nuanced than that.
  13. 150 mph and 2x the legal BAC? This wasn’t an “accident” at all; this wasn’t “well, I had one too many beers so I’ll drive slow.” This was a complete and utter disregard for human life. Screw this guy and I hope he does real jail time. At least the family of that poor woman (and dog) will have deep pockets to pursue. Simply tragic.
  14. @Scott7975 you certainly haven't heard me say the Bills' OL is anything better than average. I do think the interior OL is the biggest weakness on the team.
  15. I believe the point of Kubiak’s analysis, and Hap’s posts, is that Josh himself contributes significantly to those statistics by being stubborn and waiting for big plays to develop rather than getting the ball out of his hands to open receivers quickly. I don’t have the numbers in front of me but I believe Josh’s time from snap to release is likely among the longest in the league, which backs up that assertion. Edit: Whoops, sorry @Motorin' — I see you brought this up above! Great minds…
  16. Those naked photos of Gruden finally lost their value...at least we'll always have this: Goodnight Sweet Prince.
  17. I don't know, but board-wide posting certainly has!
  18. Thanks for coming on to post an unsubstantiated rumor from a nobody. That stuff plays great here.
  19. It really is amazing how Josh runs through would-be tacklers. He'd have been a beast of a tight end if he wasn't an all-world QB.
  20. I'm glad someone started this thread because the topic has been on my mind for weeks.
  21. Hilarious. Somebody please dredge up those threads in which he praises their organization from top to bottom as being "the most talented roster in the league."
  22. I'm. Shocked.
  23. You don't trade Trubisky for anything other than an impact player this year or a 1st or 2nd rounder. Period.
