  1. Finally, our long national nightmare is over.
  2. Funny. This particular look (white over blue, white socks) is by far my favorite road kit.
  3. This is a very misguided statement. While a powerful run game can absolutely enhance PA, PA does not need an effective run game to succeed. And while the Bills’ OL is only average, look at the 2nd half against Miami. We were running the ball pretty effectively. Everybody wants to overreact and think they can boil down any struggles into a simplistic statement. It’s much more nuanced than that.
  4. 150 mph and 2x the legal BAC? This wasn’t an “accident” at all; this wasn’t “well, I had one too many beers so I’ll drive slow.” This was a complete and utter disregard for human life. Screw this guy and I hope he does real jail time. At least the family of that poor woman (and dog) will have deep pockets to pursue. Simply tragic.
  5. @Scott7975 you certainly haven't heard me say the Bills' OL is anything better than average. I do think the interior OL is the biggest weakness on the team.
  6. I believe the point of Kubiak’s analysis, and Hap’s posts, is that Josh himself contributes significantly to those statistics by being stubborn and waiting for big plays to develop rather than getting the ball out of his hands to open receivers quickly. I don’t have the numbers in front of me but I believe Josh’s time from snap to release is likely among the longest in the league, which backs up that assertion. Edit: Whoops, sorry @Motorin' — I see you brought this up above! Great minds…
  7. Those naked photos of Gruden finally lost their value...at least we'll always have this: Goodnight Sweet Prince.
  8. I don't know, but board-wide posting certainly has!
  9. Thanks for coming on to post an unsubstantiated rumor from a nobody. That stuff plays great here.
  10. It really is amazing how Josh runs through would-be tacklers. He'd have been a beast of a tight end if he wasn't an all-world QB.
  11. I'm glad someone started this thread because the topic has been on my mind for weeks.
  12. Hilarious. Somebody please dredge up those threads in which he praises their organization from top to bottom as being "the most talented roster in the league."
  13. I'm. Shocked.
  14. You don't trade Trubisky for anything other than an impact player this year or a 1st or 2nd rounder. Period.
  15. Should HAVE. Would HAVE. Common man, your better than this.
  16. Nah, wasn’t needed. Josh is a team captain and thoughtful veteran at this point — he doesn’t need a babysitter.
  17. He wouldn’t have learned to read defenses and taken his lumps throwing to the likes of Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones, and Robert Foster. Respect the process.
  18. I think Josh was 100% focused on not saying anything that could be interpreted by any current or future opponent as bulletin board material, or be any sort of distraction for his team. Do I wish he’d been cracking jokes and being himself? Absolutely, but I understand why he wasn’t and respect that.
  19. Do some research on Jones fractures before you’re predicting a full return for Henry by the playoffs. Right now I’d place the odds of his return in any capacity this season at about 10-15%.
  20. I don't trust it. Sorry, you asked. I like a lot of the pieces but if we need a defensive stop up by 6 or less in the 4th quarter in the playoffs I'll be a wreck.
  21. The thing about metatarsal fractures is that they frequently start out as stress fractures that worsen over time. That, my friend, is the definition of "wear and tear." Vrabel is absolutely being defensive.
  22. Now that's a bold statement.
  23. Very poorly stated. Their goal is indeed to be consistently good; good enough to win the SB in any year. I've never heard Beane and McD say they "hope" to be "fortunate" to win a SB, or that they would be happy with just one. That said, there is nothing "wrong" with what the Rams are doing either. They want to win this year and made a splash move to try and get there. They do not value future draft picks in the same way as many (most) teams do. We'll see how it works out for them.
  24. It is so tough to predict. As noted above, foot fractures are notoriously "bad" for healing because of the lack of blood flow. That's why athletes have the surgery immediately to put hardware in place. I had a fractured 2nd and 3rd metatarsal last year and healed without surgery but I was off my foot for nearly four months. I also used a bone stimulator daily. Could Henry come back this year? Sure, it's possible, but I wouldn't want to count on it.
  25. 5th metatarsal is, I believe, the dreaded "Jones fracture" injury. Terrible for an athlete. Feel bad for Henry. Oilers fans? Not so much.
