What they said. Holiday weekends are tough, and even though Omicron appears to primarily cause a nasty cold it's still seemingly getting to everyone, vaxxed or not.

I hear ya, man, but there are probably a lot of other teams who can make similar claims. Bottom line -- we EXPECT to be in every game. It shouldn't be a surprise. The record is what they deserve based upon how they've played. The good news to me is that I think the team "woke up" as a whole during halftime of the TB game. In the 10 quarters since -- 88 points, 7 punts, 1 turnover.

I've been clamoring for Bates to get in the mix all season. Was nice to see him play well in such an important game.

Yeah, you guys misinterpreted me...it was meant as an exasperated "who the hell knows WHAT is going on..." statement.

Clearly the Covid list guys weren't exhibiting symptoms, they're just unvaxxed. Who the hell knows what's up with Star.

I was at that game! Very entertaining, lots of big plays, but the birds won it at the end on a FG.

RIP. An unbelievable, once-in-a-lifetime presence. Meant so much to the NFL and the way broadcasting has evolved…not to mention video games! Growing up I was always a little bit envious that Madden was on the NFC network so we never saw him doing Bills games.

Unfortunately the award is coach of the YEAR, not coach of the 2nd half of the year. When you win the games you should win, you don't deserve praise. The Saints team that trotted out onto the field last night was a joke. I'd love to see Miami sneak into the playoffs and then get humiliated.

Bills 1 seed Scenario - Seems slightly more likely than 0.2%
eball replied to ehfeuh57's topic in The Stadium Wall
The 1 and 2 seeds are pretty much pipe dreams at this point. The question is who do we want to face in WC weekend? I think everyone is still recovering from the Colts beat down but that goes two ways…do we want the Pats*** again? I don’t really care; once the playoffs start you play who’s in front of you without fear. I’ll tell you this; there is NO team out there thinking they “want” to play Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. -
It’s the truth. Look who they are beating. Their strength of victory metric is only a little better than Atlanta’s. Waddle is going to be a very good player and Gesicki is a good TE, but otherwise offensively they are deficient…and that includes QB. Tua, to me, looks like just an average guy who will need a really good team around him to be successful. As Bills fans we should hope that they continue the Flores/Tua experiment.

Bruce Smith Puts Jerry Sullivan In His Place in 1997
eball replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wonder if any Boston hack asked Matt Judon after the game if he was “embarrassed” the Bills didn’t punt? No, of course they didn’t, because it’s a douchey question. Sully still doesn’t get it after all these years. If you’re a little weasel with no credibility and you insult professional athletes they aren’t going to take kindly to it. What exactly did he win? He lost his job at the Buffalo News, for crissake, and is at a rag called the Niagara freaking Gazette. Did he get a few Twitter hits? I hear the Gazette pays an extra $.05 per retweet. -
Hey, man, if you want to worry, be my guest. The Falcons suck and the Bills will plaster them Sunday.
-
The Falcons "strength of victory" metric is .306 -- far and away the lowest in the league, and it isn't close. I'm tellin' ya, they stink. Those seven wins are a mirage. This is not your MVP-era Matt Ryan. These last two games for the Bills are the biggest no-brainers of the season.
-
The Falcons have only scored 278 points this season...to put that in perspective, the Jets have scored 276. Only six teams have scored fewer. They've also given up 400 points, more than all but four teams. I'm really bored with the "the Bills lost to the Jags, I'm not taking anything for granted" takes. This is not a game in early November; it's one of two left, at home, to clinch the division. Buffalo isn't looking past anyone and I fully expect an ass kicking.
-
I’m not suggesting Allen should win it this year…just that any and every MVP discussion should include his name.
-
Of the 10 McD/BB matchups since Sean became HC yesterday was probably the closest we’ve seen to a “fair fight” in that you had two playoff teams late in the season. Perhaps the late 2019 game fits that bill as well. BB certainly hasn’t “owned” McD when both have had competent teams. 2017 — Brady vs. Tyrod 2018 — Brady vs. Anderson, Brady vs. Rookie Josh (insignificant last game of season) 2019 — Brady vs. Josh x2, both close games 2020 — Josh vs. Newton x2 2021 — Windstorm, Josh vs. Jones
-
You simply can not watch yesterday’s game and say Allen isn’t MVP worthy. On the biggest stage, against the #1 NFL defense…he dominated.

Lakers by 6.

Just sayin', about the last thing I need is a Pats*** troll telling me what a "great win" this was for my team.

This is what they are saying in New England Land
eball replied to DefenseWins's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a decent point, I think. While I've resolved not to "worry" about whom the Bills face in the playoffs, lining up against the Pats*** again would be fine. -
I’ll go ahead and start this thread. The Falcons ARE NOT GOOD. They’re not even average. Don’t be fooled by the 7-8 record. Their wins: Jets, Giants, Jags, Lions, Saints, Dolphins (early in the year), and Panthers (with whom they split). They have a -122 point differential. What should we worry about? Patterson as a RB has been good. Otherwise? Meh. Buckle down and take care of business, Buffalo.

Beas is gone, for football reasons as well as for being an idiot. Got Wally Pipped yesterday. McKenzie is younger, quicker, and has Josh’s trust. Stevenson is there to develop. Star can go pound sand as well. We’re moving on from these aging vets with nothing much left to provide (except distractions).
