  1. What kind of an asinine statement is this? Do you honestly believe teams can "bank" good play for future use? Geez, dude, you just continue to distinguish yourself as either an elite troll or a complete moron. Go read the Athletic article about the multitude of formations and personnel groupings the Bills used Saturday night. That gives KC and all other future opponents so much to prepare for their heads will be swimming.
  2. FYI, the line moved to -5 Buffalo for a while before settling back at -4.5. Right now at my book it’s -4.5 but -115.
  3. Made it into town last night…nearly 700 miles in 10 hours from NC. I’m ready to run through a brick wall for this game. LET’S GO, BUFFALO!
  4. I think I visit PFR three or four times a week. Just an amazing database and resource to look up just about anything NFL-related.
  5. Is this going to be open tonight?
  6. Hahaha just watched it. Love how McD said something and then kept walking on by.
  7. Get ready, Orchard Park...E-ball is headed your way. Decided this morning that there was no way I could miss the first home playoff game with a full house in more than 20 years...looked at flights but realized the weather here in NC is going to get really bad Saturday night and all day Sunday...so tomorrow morning I'm hopping in the car and making the drive. LET'S GO BUFFALO!!! Dude, I'm driving solo from NC!!!!
  8. I've been pretty hard on you for your trolling posts but this one is somewhat true...without the "lite" designation. Phillips is beginning to show that he could bring exactly what Kyle brought to the table, both on and off the field.
  9. Here's why I think the Steelers have at least a puncher's chance: 1 - KC O just isn't what it used to be (although Pitt D isn't either) 2 - KC D is average at best (8th in PA but 27th in YA); they give up 4.8 yds/rush which is 2nd worst in the league, and 5.9 yards/play (also 2nd worst). 3 - Steelers are a veteran team with a coach who seems to know how to push the right buttons 4 - TJ Watt Now, do I think the Steelers will win? No. But it would not "shock" me if they did, and I don't expect a KC blowout. I think Pitt can dink and dunk down the field on this D using short passes and Harris runs; the key is stopping KC enough to keep it close. Not betting the game.
  10. Why in the world would you take JA out of the equation? He is a legitimate weapon in the running game. You're dealing with a bias towards only looking at RBs, which skews your analysis.
  11. I can totally see Hughes accepting a team-friendly contract to come back next year, and I don't have a problem with it.
  12. "Super Bowl Champs" will do just fine.
  13. I feel like there was an "a-ha!" moment along the way for the OL. Losing Boettger in the Pats*** game and having Bates move in seamlessly was a huge step forward. As you said, Dion is BACK. They're using more heavy sets and showing different looks than they did earlier in the year. Yes, Josh's athleticism allows him to get out of spots that might result in sacks for other QBs but that doesn't mean we disregard that he hasn't been sacked in how many weeks, and suddenly we have a viable running game with Motor.
  14. I have a question, realizing that many attempted jokes will follow: In cold weather games are the balls kept "warmed" at all?
  15. But he's an elite holder! The OL was inconsistent until 4 1/2 weeks ago. They've now put together a nice little run.
  16. Funny that you quoted Heath Farwell and not McD.
  17. Sorry, but I’ll disagree on your choice of the word “glaring.” The Bills just finished #1 in just about every statistical category on defense, and the run defense was, at worst, middle of the pack. That’s not a “glaring weakness.” Further, Josh Allen IS a part of the run game, and when you look at what Motor has done over the past four weeks I think it’s quite a stretch to say the Bills’ run game is a “glaring weakness.” Look, I get it that some of us still want to let the BBFS creep in, but it really is a different era now. This team is, in my opinion, the most complete football TEAM in the league and nobody wants to play us. Saleh is just saying out loud what most insiders already think.
  18. Sheppard for Hughes. Oh wait, wrong era…but that is still the most lopsided trade (particularly in retrospect) I’ve ever seen…and for once it went in our favor. Tough to beat the Cordy Glenn move.
  19. You’ve gotta love (I think) the energy Kyle brings to his work. That was an entertaining segment and I can’t believe he didn’t pass out.
  20. No no no…the perfect topic heading would be “Giants Recuse Judge”
  21. Interesting that the Giants waited to can Judge until this afternoon. I wonder if some (all) of the GM candidates they asked to interview “sent word” through their representatives that they weren’t interested if Judge was retained. I sure as hell would have.
  22. First. Class. Douche. Another guy who will probably go running back to the Pats***.
