Jets HC Robert Saleh: Bills are the best team he has faced.
eball replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like there was an "a-ha!" moment along the way for the OL. Losing Boettger in the Pats*** game and having Bates move in seamlessly was a huge step forward. As you said, Dion is BACK. They're using more heavy sets and showing different looks than they did earlier in the year. Yes, Josh's athleticism allows him to get out of spots that might result in sacks for other QBs but that doesn't mean we disregard that he hasn't been sacked in how many weeks, and suddenly we have a viable running game with Motor. -

I have a question, realizing that many attempted jokes will follow: In cold weather games are the balls kept "warmed" at all? -

But he's an elite holder! The OL was inconsistent until 4 1/2 weeks ago. They've now put together a nice little run. -
What Heath Farwell said about Bills punter Matt Haack

Funny that you quoted Heath Farwell and not McD. -

Sorry, but I’ll disagree on your choice of the word “glaring.” The Bills just finished #1 in just about every statistical category on defense, and the run defense was, at worst, middle of the pack. That’s not a “glaring weakness.” Further, Josh Allen IS a part of the run game, and when you look at what Motor has done over the past four weeks I think it’s quite a stretch to say the Bills’ run game is a “glaring weakness.” Look, I get it that some of us still want to let the BBFS creep in, but it really is a different era now. This team is, in my opinion, the most complete football TEAM in the league and nobody wants to play us. Saleh is just saying out loud what most insiders already think.- 78 replies

most underrated move by Beane during his time here

Sheppard for Hughes. Oh wait, wrong era…but that is still the most lopsided trade (particularly in retrospect) I’ve ever seen…and for once it went in our favor. Tough to beat the Cordy Glenn move. -

You’ve gotta love (I think) the energy Kyle brings to his work. That was an entertaining segment and I can’t believe he didn’t pass out. -
No no no…the perfect topic heading would be “Giants Recuse Judge”

First. Class. Douche. Another guy who will probably go running back to the Pats***.

I don't think most big-money bettors are sharps because that's not how you make money over the long run, but they do bet in syndicates which would result in a larger number of bets/$$. I do hear what you're saying but the line isn't really moving "backwards"...it started at -4 in some areas. Is it possible the sharps aren't really on this game at all? -

Well, those numbers have changed to 64% and 72%, so there are apparently a lot of dumb whales betting the Bills. I'm still curious as to why the line isn't moving in that direction. -

FYI, the money edge on Buffalo is now 8%. 64% of tickets and 72% of the money is on the Bills. -

There’s really no need to be condescending. I’m very aware of how point spreads are determined and markers that trigger movement. As of right now 53% of the bets and 58% of the money is on Buffalo, which means there is a 5% money edge on the Bills at -4 (i.e., the bigger bets or “sharps” are on the Bills). Why hasn’t the line moved? Could be a number of reasons. The game to jump on right now is Philly getting 8.5 at Tampa. -

I think it’s easy to label a lot of announcers/commentators “homers for the Pats***” simply because the Pats*** have been so good for so long that you have to talk about and appreciate them (when they aren’t cheating). Davis is fine. Eagle is an excellent PBP guy. We could have drawn worse. -

What a great 4th quarter! So happy for Stetson and the Dawgs. Bama has had their share. -
Bojo is a terrible holder...and believe me, that will matter at some point for GB in the playoffs too. Complain about Haack all you want (I agree he sucks) but the decision to let Bojo go wasn't just about the money.

Odds are that Flores tucks tail and returns to Foxborough, but I'd love to have him replace Frazier as DC when Leslie takes the Bears job.

I feel as though sharp bettors will like the Bills in this one...and if I'm right the line will move. -

Key to this game is for Buffalo to start fast and get a lead. If that happens, look for another double-digit win.
