Re: Sanders, the numbers don’t really suggest he is in decline. In several areas his numbers last season were at or better than his career averages. I look back at the KC game and imagine if we had a healthy Sanders with his short-area separation ability. Of course, we now know that none of the Bills’ top three WRs were anywhere close to full strength, but Sanders trumps Brown in overall skill. Folks can debate the contract $$ but I don’t understand the “style fit” concern.

If KC’s message boards are anything like this one their fans are predicting an 8-9 season based upon that assessment.

One of the most interesting storylines is how this game vaulted the two teams in opposite directions. It was essentially the "beginning" of the Bills' great SB runs and dropped Denver, at least for that season, into mediocrity.

So, prior to last season the rankings had Josh at #87, which was somewhat controversial in that many felt he didn’t belong there. After his breakout 2020 season, finishing 2nd in MVP voting and getting to the AFC Championship game, where will he fall? I’m predicting top 5. Thoughts?

Agreed. I think it’s a paranoid Bills fan take. We like to feel slighted at any opportunity. Trust me, fans of other teams are envious as hell of Josh Allen. They went from “he’s a bust” to “damn, he’s good” in a heartbeat. Any fans claiming Josh is being “bailed out” by Diggs are doing so out of denial.
