  1. Josh Allen IS the Bills Franchise QB!
  2. Do we root for Pittsburgh or Cleveland?
  3. Frankly, I don't see any or your points mentioned here. Why does the NFL "need to step in and make some form of supplement league"? It would seem to be all too obvious that they don't. Going all the way back to the days of the USFL these leagues have all failed - every one of them. I don't see the XFL doing any better to be honest. Alot of fans currently transition from the NFL to the NHL and NBA in the late winter to early spring when MLB comes into play. I don't see any need for another semi-pro football league. I haven't even mentioned so called fringe sports like MLS, minor league baseball, Nascar, the Pro Golf Tour, MMA, and Professional Wrestling just to name a few. Do you remember World Team Tennis? So who exactly is out there to support another sports league? Didn't we just see the AAF go under as well? Honestly, I think that sports is and has been oversaturated with these failed ventures.
  4. WE are not PAID sportswriters. We are just fans. Just another example of sloppiness and inattention to detail. Who the h3ll is this guy who wrote this piece of sheet?
  5. Exactly what strain of weed are you smokin and where can I get some???
  6. I think that the Bills (both offense and defense) are rounding into form (aka: peaking) at just the right time.
  7. That is what I meant... Whoever this writer is, whatever he may have been smoking, he pulls Zay Jones from out of nowhere and then essentially cites the Bills Twitter feed as a source... Scary!
  8. Beat those Cowgirls! Can't think of a much better way to spend Thankgiving afternoon.
  9. I am pretty sure that Tre White's new contract may eat up a portion of this cap space as well and a decision needs to be made on Dawkins as well. Shutdown corners and Left Tackles generally are two of the core building blocks of any team....
  10. The truly scary thing about this quote is that the source cited is the Bills PR Twitter...
  11. Right now the only game I am thinking about (and hopefully the Bills are too) is Thursday afternoon against the Cowgirls... Take em one at a time...
  12. So on a related issue, Can CFL players be signed as FA after the Grey Cup Game is over and still be eligible to play in the NFL immediately? Are there any players out there that the Bills should be taking a look at?
  13. I think that the poll results so far showing 2 games most likely but possibly this weekend. (if he breaks off one or two good chunks could do the trick)
  14. I guess we should all start watching more of "The Simpsons"...
  15. I thought that Morse was allegedly the one responsible for calling out the protections? I also noticed on several occasions that our right guard seemed to be getting out of his stance and pointing at the defenders - what would that have been about?
  16. Phillips should definitely be re-signed. Especially with the ACL injury that Harrison Phillips sustained. Thanks to Gase for cutting him in the 1st place!
  17. As others have mentioned already, I like Allen's growth that we've seen so far compared to other recently drafted QB's. (Goff, Trubisky, Darnold etc...) I think having Daboll around to nurture Allen for his 1st 2 seasons has been a big plus and hope he sticks around for another season at least. Consistency is a big plus in my mind in a young QB's development. I also like seeing Allen stay in the pocket longer and throwing the ball away when the play dictates. Just having a young QB who wants to be the best he can be, putting in the time and effort to be all he can be AND wants to be HERE long term. Can't ask for much more IMHO. I had originally wanted the Bills to draft either Watson or Mahomes the year before but think they still did pretty well getting both Allen and Tre White the way they did. These two players are definitely keepers and will help form the core of the Bills teams for years to come. Now the Bills have to keep building around these guys. It's also nice to see that "Smoke" is under contract for two more years at a very cost friendly price. Overall the future looks very bright for this team! https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/john-brown-14502/
  18. Josh also had no sacks today I believe...
  19. We all want to trust our doctors. That has been drilled into us from the time we were kids. But doctors are human too. Mistakes do happen unfortunately. That's why doctors have malpractice insurance for one thing. And a "team doctor" is gonna pay deference to those who write him his paycheck. That is also why the NFLPA has protections built into the standard players contract guaranteeing players the right to a "second opinion". But ultimately the responsibility falls on the individual himself, if he has concerns about any part of his medical treatment or lack thereof, to seek out help from an outside source. As we have now seen in both this case and the NYJ v Kelechi Osmele situation, the team is not gonna do it for them.
  20. I'm also glad the Bills didn't waste any draft picks on aging vets who may not have much left in the tank. (see AJ Green) Plenty of time in the off season to see what is out there when the Bills will have plenty of cap space available to spend without sacrificing valuable draft picks needlessly.
  21. Technically speaking, a loss by the Jets eliminates them from winning the AFCE, not necessarily from a wild-card spot.
  22. Mike Evans would certainly be a nice addition. Here is what his contract currently looks like: https://overthecap.com/player/mike-evans/2946/ A rather large but affordable base salary for next season in particular but after that not as bad. Depends on what TB wants in return...
  23. After today will ESPN call the Bills "the worst 6-1 Team in NFL History"?
  24. …Wind Advisories in effect for Chautauqua and Southern Erie counties until 6 pm Sunday. Wind Advisories in effect for Northern Erie, Niagara, Orleans, and Genesee counties from 10 am through 6 pm Sunday. Sustained southerly winds of 15-30 mph with wind gusts upwards of 45-50 mph at times expected. Wind gusts may be strong enough to blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, resulting in a few power outages… per WIVB...
