  1. I don't want anybody that doesn't want to be here.
  2. Green Bay isn't interested either per PFT.... Also, allegedly money was not the issue at all... AB didn't want to play here - period.
  3. At 7:07 AM Josh Alpert in his PFT column reiterated that Rappaport was standing by his earlier reporting... One of those responses came from PFT as a league source told us a deal is “not even close,” but Rapoport isn’t backing off the report. He told Mike Florio in a text that the deal is “going through” and posted something similar on Twitter a short time later.
  4. I'm pretty sure that Pittsburgh Mgt is furious about this. BUT Rappaport allegedly was still reporting the deal as done around 7am this morning (per Josh Alpert PFT) long after AB called it "Fake News"... https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/03/08/brandon-beane-were-moving-on-from-antonio-brown-talks/ One of those responses came from PFT as a league source told us a deal is “not even close,” but Rapoport isn’t backing off the report. 5. I just basically said the same thing in the AB thread. Seems like very half-a$$ed reporting to report a "done deal" and not confirm it with AB first. Who the hell were Rappaport's trusted sources on this?
  6. OK. AB didn't want to come here. It wasn't about the money. Got it. And that's his prerogative. So why did Rappaport report the story when he did, the way he did? He claims to have had "multiple sources" indicating it was basically a "done deal". Did no one think to check with AB first? Rappaport's credibility here should take a real hit over this. Very lazy reporting it would seem...
  7. Maybe this is the end of bringing in former Carolina players... I see Pittsburgh is on the list of the Bills 2019 road opponents... Should be an interesting game....
  8. Here is what Peter King had to say about Rosen in today's Football Morning in America column... I asked Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner, who lives in Arizona and watched Rosen last year, what he thinks the value for Rosen is. “I would give a three for Josh,” Warner said. A third-round pick. Yikes. Saturday night, I asked a renowned NFL GM what he thought the value of Rosen in trade would. “Probably a three,” the GM said. “Not what the Cardinals would think his value is.” Apparently, Rosen isn't particularly well thought of in NFL circles... Makes the idea of Arizona taking Murray #1 overall even more plausible...
  9. Lane Johnson 2013 NFL Draft #4 Overall pick RT... Jake Matthews 2014 NFL Draft #6 Overall pick...
  10. I don't have any specific favorites to sign. Center, tackle/guard, tight end and WR would be obvious targets in FA. Keep in mind too that the Bills need to make a decision soon on Dion Dawkins. While he is under contract for 2019 and 2020, if you acquire another LT to take over the position and move Dawkins to either RT or say LG, keep in mind that with good LT's being in such short supply in the NFL, someone else is bound to offer him more money than the Bills would likely be inclined to pay him, and he would leave in FA for sure in 2021. I don't believe that Dawkins or his agent would be too crazy about his position being changed either. So far, his play at LT has been ok, but not outstanding. The question is can the Bills do better at LT?
  11. I'm certainly not against trading down if the opportunity presents itself. But this is not the kind of deal that I would be in favor of. I question Julio's durability at this stage of his career for one thing. I want Beane to shore up this teams OL in FA first and foremost. A serviceable TE would be nice too. Allen needs a WR who can grow with him and become a WR1 for years to come. The only teams I don't want to trade down with would be Miami or N.England because they are our direct competitors being in our division. An extra 2nd rd pick would come in handy. However, bearing all this in mind, if Beane decides to stay put at 9 and say draft a DL I'd support that move too. Not knowing what FA will bring makes it difficult to guess what Beane will do in the draft itself...
  12. At this point, at least until we see what FA brings, it's difficult to predict what the Bills will do with the #9 pick... Personally I'd prefer a 3 down OL or DL... WR with the 2nd rd pick...
  13. I wouldn't mind seeing both Haskins and Murray being drafted in the top 8 picks. That just means that the Bills get a shot at the 7th best positional player (non-QB) in this years draft. It's interesting though that there were rumours around the 2018 Draft that both the Bills and Arizona valued Allen over Rosen. Bottom line is that I'm quite happy that McBean zeroed in on Allen as their choice. Time will tell but I think that McBean "killed" this past years draft getting Allen, Edmunds, Phillips, Johnson, Neal and Teller. McBean also acquired Foster and Wallace. Another solid draft like that and signing a few more FA should have this team looking it's best in many a year...
  14. 6'5" 265# looks like he has potential 43 receptions, 439 yds and 3 TD's in 2018... And he should not command a huge salary either... The Bengals also need to resign FA Tyler Eifert... Cinci is known to be tight with their spending... Might be worth signing Uzomah in FA...
  15. IDK BUT This guy didn't look too bad.... Besides Peterman is currently under contract with the Raiders [sarcasm on]
  16. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/tredavious-white-21768/ Actually, Tre White is eligible for the 5th year option if the Bills choose to use that option on him since he was a 1st rd pick, so they actually have him under contract for 3 more years assuming they choose to exercise their option on him...
  17. So some think that he will get drafted high in the 1st round. How high and by which team? https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/01/01/dwayne-haskins-makes-his-case-to-be-the-first-overall-pick/
  18. First thing is I really don't see Oliver dropping to #8... Kind of makes the whole discussion pointless to me...
