  1. Did you forget about Vontae Davis. No way the Bills pick a CB in round one.
  2. I believe that now that they have made the playoffs in the first year, the focus becomes advancing further in the playoffs until eventually we win a SB. If they can continue to build the roster while still making it a bit further in the playoffs each year, then this will be the criteria for success.
  3. Convince me that he will. The fact is that nobody really knows how any of these QB's will fare in the NFL. Some who have been labeled sure things in the past have been terrible while others that nobody thought would make it have been perennial all pros. All you can do is trust your talent evaluators. If not, why have them?
  4. I say keep the picks and see who's there at 12. All those picks for a "maybe" franchise QB is just too much of a gamble and too high a price to pay.
  5. Gotcha and that makes sense. On another note, Marvin Lewis had nothing but good things to say about Bodine. We'll see how it all shakes out, but I like adding veteran depth to the OL.
  6. Veterans who have started in the NFL are hardly a desperation move. Any good team needs depth on its roster in case of injuries.
  7. If you hate our coach and GM so much, what exactly are you a fan of? I don't remember anyone saying these guys were perfect. We know that they're not. The question is do they have the Bills headed in the right direction? I believe the answer to that question is a resounding yes.
  8. McCarron will be the starter this season. I guarantee it unless he gets hurt. They signed him to start this year and be the QB2 next year.
  9. Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but if not you've got to know that this statement is blatantly false. I could name you a dozen franchise QB's who ended up being the best in their franchise's history that were drafted after #3 overall.
  10. McCarron will be the opening day starter. Whoever they draft will have some time to develop and learn how to be a QB in the NFL.
  11. I don't think it would cost that much. The two firsts and second round pick should get us into the top 5. If not, stay put and take what you get at 12.
  12. I'd like to get Matthews back. He was injured last year and we still need help at WR.
  13. Have you heard of Kelvin Benjamin? They will also draft at least one WR. Remember this is still a run first team. Relax man. This team made the playoffs last year and their D Line will be much better with Lotulelei and Murphy. They will address the WR position. Yesterday was the first day of FA and btw there don't appear to be to many starting WR on the FA market.
  14. One of them will most likely be our starter this year, so putting time and thought into them is speculation about who our QB will be to start 2018. NOt even remotely the same as "obsessing about the third string outside linebacker."
  15. LOl pathetic. They're not going to tank. They tried to win in 2017 and they'll try to win in 2018 as well.
  16. I'd bet my paycheck that they sign a FA QB within this week.
  17. Guarantee the Bills will sign a FA QB. And he will be the starter this year. They will also draft one and groom him for 2019 and beyond.
  18. It won't take any "draft capital" to get McCarron. As of Monday he will be an UFA. They just need to sign him.
  19. Bills will sign a veteran QB in FA and draft another in the first round. Whether they trade up or stand pat will depend on how the draft shapes up.
  20. NFL Sunday Ticket is not even offered in Canada anymore. If you want to watch all the games you have to subscribe to DAZN, a streaming service for sports. To counteract this, last season Bell TV added extra CTV channels and carried all the games for no extra charge.
  21. That is a ridiculous idea that would never even be considered.
  22. The sky is falling, the sky is falling. Typical TBD optimism. I love it. The team made the playoffs. How about we build on that instead of "rebuilding". I contend that with a real QB this team may have gone to the SB this year. We are very close. Now is not the time to rebuild. -We will get a decent QB either in FA, trade or the draft -Shady still has plenty left in the tank -Groy will replace Wood and Incognito will be fine for at least another year. -If Kyle retires, then we draft a DT, problem solved -Kelvin Benjamin when healthy is one of the best WR in the game, Jordan Mathews is also very good when healthy. Both were injured all year and Zay Jones will be in his second year and should be improved as well, so not as bad a group as you think -LB can be had both in the draft and FA and I don't think we need to upgrade all three positions -Tre White was an All Pro calibre player and so you need another CB, as you say, safety position looks good None of this points to a rebuild, just a need for some depth.
  23. Only time I saw him play was in the Senior Bowl. I realize that is not enough exposure to make a good judgement. Might be worth a look as an UDFA if available.
  24. He looked awesome in the Senior Bowl. Better than some of the bigger name guys.
