  1. UMM yes it is true. We were absolutely horrible under Rex Ryan and Doug Whaley. It will take years to fix how badly they screwed this team up.
  2. I think a lot of the penalties are ticky tack ***** that only gets called against us. Not sure how many we had today, but the past two weeks refs called more penalties agains the Bills than the NFL average for BOTH teams in a game. Most of those penalties were ***** calls. I think all coaches make tactical mistakes. Winning coaches get a pass, but they all make mistakes. Just my opinion, but I tend to be an optimist. I believe he and Beane were the first solid HC and GM hirings in a very long time. I'll give them at least two more years before conceding defeat.
  3. The coach gets a pass because the team sucks. He and Beane are building a winner and you can't do that in one offseason. McDermott is a solid coach and this team will be fine. I give them two more years and hopefully we will have the foundation to be winners for a very long time after that.
  4. He's a good coach. We have a ***** team. I give him and Beane two more years. This team was a disaster both offensively and defensively when they took over. We are getting better, but just not good enough yet. O Line is still a mess. Hopefully they address that and WR in the offseason.
  5. Saw that one coming. Offense was too inconsistent all second half and Jets were moving the ball easily. It was only a matter of time. Why we're 4-9? Wasn't like it was gonna make any difference if we won. Last two weeks were both winnable games, but we are just not good enough.
  6. It's not a "meltdown". The team just isn't good enough to win yet. They lucked out last year and got some help to make the playoffs. This is a rebuild of the entire team and it takes more than one year. I have complete confidence that the team is headed in the right direction.
  7. It was pretty bad. It started with the phantom PI and Roughing the passer calls on the same play, giving Miami a First Down and keeping their drive alive on the first score. Neither was a penalty, but they called both and it got worse from there.
  8. This game was a disgrace. Last week and this week have to be two of the worst officiated games I have ever seen and of course both involved the Bills.
  9. Most of those times he was running away from DL. Hard to throw the ball when you're running full speed.
  10. Typical play for Charles Clay. That has to be one of the worst FA signings in Bills history.
  11. This is ridiculous. Just like last week. Penalty on almost every play.
  12. It was a 59 yard attempt and you're down 8. Might as well go for it.
  13. This is one of those games. I predict this one gets ugly before it's over. We can't do anything right today.
  14. I don't know about several, but on the roughing the passer, I don't think either penalty was legit. The illegal contact was bogus as well.
  15. I agree. He clearly got the ball out of the end zone before he went down.
  16. This team plays great when they score first. When they're on the road and the home team scores first, it generally goes downhill from there.
  17. Bully for them. I'm doing what I feel is right and that's all I can control. I don't really give a rat's ass if you think what I'm doing makes sense. I'm doing what I consider to be right and that's all I can control.
  18. If you hate our coach so much even though he's done a decent job thus far, maybe it's time to find another team. #troll
  19. Not even remotely the same thing. IMO it's like boycotting the big box stores but still supporting your local Mom and Pop store. Regardless, It is my personal response and others can do as they like.
  20. Oh well. Not watching the other games is my response and it DOES hurt the league. Not enough I'll admit and if it did they wouldn't be so wishy washy about it. I don't care what other people do, I do my thing and that is my personal response.
  21. As a fellow Catholic, I too kneel to pray, not to protest. Of course they have the right to do it and that is why we served. You're right about that. Because you CAN do something doesn't mean that you SHOULD however. If you don't have a problem with it, then that's great. I do and so do millions of other veterans. There is an established protocol for the playing of the anthem and it does not involve kneeling in protest.
  22. As a fellow veteran, I respect your opinion, I just happen to have a different one. Of course they have a right to do it. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean that you should. You're wrong about the reason people don't go to games though. I have fellow veterans that are friends, some of which were season ticket holders who will not only no longer not buy tickets or go to games, they won't even watch. And that's just in my little circle of friends. The same thing is going on all over the country. Millions of us find it disrespectful. If you don't, then great, that's your right.
  23. Says the guy that supports his team and ONLY his team. I used to watch a lot of NFL football. Now I only watch the Bills. Regardless, I don't approve of the protests and neither do millions of other Americans. If you choose to, that's great, go for it. It doesn't make my or anyone else's opinion worth any less.
  24. You are entitled to your opinion, but it is still going on, they just choose not to show it on TV. Pretending it doesn't exist does not mean it's not happening. If it doesn't bother you and you still wanna support these guys, then that's great. It does bother millions of other Americans and the only NFL football that I watch anymore is my Buffalo Bills. I won't support a bunch of millionaire athletes crying about being oppressed. Again, if it doesn't bother you, then great. As a veteran, I find it disrespectful to the men and women who have died in defense of our country. There is an established protocol for the playing of the anthem and it does not involve kneeling.
