  1. A lot of NFL analysists think safety play is more important than CB play. Great safeties help make up for the mistakes of corners and corners having safeties they trust allows them to play more aggressive and better. I think the team will be fine, White's loss will hurt but I think they will play well around the injury.
  2. Maybe him and the coaching staff liked what they had in Neal, Dane and the other CB's on the roster? Just because fans don't like the names/depth on the roster doesn't mean the players aren't good.
  3. We will see just how good of a secondary coach and defensive coach McD is. This team has been very fortunate with injuries in the secondary since 2017. Only EJ Gaines missed a lot of time in the secondary now with White out we will see how well McD can scheme around a major injury.
  4. It's official Tre is out for the year with an ACL. Just have to hope this isn't a career altering injury. Tre is still young will be 27/28 next season hopefully he can recover and put in a few more elite seasons. I am not going to write the Bills season off just yet. Teams lose big players and still make runs. Hardly any team doesn't sustain injuries. Yes outside of Josh and Diggs Tre was probably the player the team could ill afford to lose BUT I believe in McD's system. I believe that they can scheme around White's absence.
  5. You can walk off a lot of really bad injuries, doesn't mean it is a bad injury just means that simply walking it off isn't an indicator of much either way.
  6. IF Tre is able to come back for the playoffs (which is unlikely) I don't think this team is unable to win the AFC. Surveying the AFC who do you think is out there that is for sure better than the Bills? Every team has massive flaws. The Bills haven't had their lines in order for many weeks and when they have everything rolling they look like a very good team. Maybe if there was a true powerhouse team in the Conference I would agree with you but this year the AFC is up for grabs.
  7. I have seen some non-contacts that were 100% for sure ACL tears. I wouldn't qualify this as being one of those. But it looks like a high chance it is a ACL. Possible it is a less serious injury but my amateur opinion is that it is a 70% chance it is a tear.
  8. I think against lesser teams the Bills will be fine going more zone but it is going to be a liability against better teams.
  9. Hoping for the best here. But a lot of bad signs. Mentally assuming Tre is out for the rest of the season but if it is a less serious injury I will be very very happy.
  10. Bills got a blowout win on the road without Star or Brown. Granted the Saints were massively banged up but it was a dominating win. With the "mini bye" thanks to a Thursday win it should hopefully set them up to get Star and Brown back to sure up the lines. Just have to hope White's injury isn't a season ender.
  11. Hoping for the best but David J. Chao the Pro Football Doc is thinking that it looks like a serious ACL tear. I am going to assume the worst and hope for the best.
  12. Bills put this game into garbage time with that TD. I mean it was in garbage time at 24-0 but they had too much time on the clock to be officially garbage time. Overall a great win to just beat up on a bad team. They came out and took control of the game early going up 10-0, Josh's turnovers let the Saints hang around a bit in the first half but the defense kept the Bills in control. The offense just put the game away in the second half with three TD's and the defense just kept a strong effort. Great to get a "mini-bye" and quickly washing away the taste of the seasons worst loss.
  13. They know it is garbage time.
  14. Literally doesn't matter since the Bills are up three posessions.
  15. Really makes me miss Roberts steady returning from 2019-2020.
  16. Bills need to switch to the 4 minute offense just run the ball and throw short over the middle. Nothing fancy you are up three scores with not that much time left on the clock. Getting two first downs grinds this game close to 5 minutes left. You don't need to be fancy here just keep the clock rolling.
  17. People don't understand the situation and just want to complain. With your defense rolling and the clock on your side punt them in deep.
  18. I am all fine with them punting but that third and short call is insanely frustrating. Just run the ball on third and short when you are in a 4 minute drill situation. Even if you don't convert you chew up 40 more seconds on the clock and punt them deep. They took a shot one on one with Diggs only to punt it on the next down.
  19. With the defense playing well and the clock on your side I think a punt is right in this situation.
  20. The AFC is pretty weak overall, I don't see why the Bills don't have a shot in the playoffs to rep the AFC. Yes this team has issues but I also think if they get some key players back (Spencer Brown and Star) they can get back to being a team that can contend with anyone in the AFC. The Bills needed a confidence boosting game where they beat up on a bad team. If they can punch this game out and Tre White is OK long term I think they are set up fine esp with the "mini-bye" gained by this game being on Thursday.
  21. Bills still up three possessions not a huge deal but they need the offense to close out the game on this drive. Even a field goal while chewing up a lot of clock puts this game away. Not much to complain about in this game other than the INT's by Josh in the first half which let the Saints hang around but the offense got in gear in Q3.
  22. Seems like this might be a case of a former chef of AB going "rogue" and planting a fake story about him. Either way the NFL is going to investigate this to see what happened. AB is claiming he was vaccinated. Should be interesting to see what happens.
  23. These stock sales do allow you to vote on who runs the team and a couple of other fringe benefits. But as a fiscal investment it is not that. You can only sell the stock back to the team for a fraction of the price you paid. I guess if you are a Packers fan it might be cool to buy a few shares (If you can afford it) to vote on the teams operations but that's about it. If the Bills had a similar set up I would easily buy one or two shares but it would be mainly as a novelty.
  24. Probably the Thursday game against the Saints.
  25. Not shocking to see the secondary, Allen and Diggs getting the highest grades. No super low grades either.
