  1. Norwood sucked, but all Harmon had to do was catch the damn ball for the win.
  2. These days no one apologizes for anything. They see it as a sign of weakness. Most people just double down and take their rhetoric to another level, so I find Rex's apology for a totally uncalled for personal attack refreshing to be honest.
  3. Beanie didn’t sign Alexander, but I get your point.
  4. Yes. It's called attached unemployment. You get a shorter period of time on it and don't have to be looking for another job, but otherwise it's the same as far as benefits go.
  5. They need to bring in a veteran T to compete with Nsekhe and Ford. What is the status of LaAdrian Waddle?
  6. Will probably draft another CB to supplement.
  7. Defensive moves have been strong. I would still look to draft a DE early as well. They do need more offensive FA help though. They need another veteran OT to compete with Ford and Nsekhe and a veteran RB as well. A veteran TE wouldn't hurt either.
  8. It's a great move IF Josh steps up his game. Otherwise it's a waste or worse, possibly a headache, if Diggs starts complaining the way he did in Minnesota.
  9. I think fast/quick WR who can get good separation are exactly the types of players that Allen needs. Big WRs with "large catch radii" like Funchess are a better fit for more accurate QBs who can really place the ball where the WR needs it, IMO.
  10. I like "First the coronavirus and now this."
  11. Basically a one for one replacement for Alexander, except that Alexander was a better pass rusher.
  12. If you tried to make this trade in fantasy, the commissioner would have blocked it. How can this be the best offer that Houston could get for Hopkins? Even if they were determined to trade him, you'd have to think that most teams in the league would have happily offered more.
  13. ... and with 10x the mortality rate. Plus it happens in conjunction with the flu, which doesn't go away btw.
  14. It may very well be a "career year." If he poops his pants with the Bills he is going to have a hard time finding another team to take a chance on him.
  15. I wouldn't bet on Norman beating out Wallace or Johnson.
  16. It's hard to feel sorry for them because a) it's voluntary, b) they make more money in their 3-4 year career than most people make in their lives, c) when their football career is over the can retire early or start a second career if they like, and d) there are a ton of fringe benefits. Despite the physical toll, I suspect the vast majority of American men would sign up for an NFL career in a heartbeat if they could.
  17. Just get somebody good. Speed, power, elusiveness, whatever; someone who's hard to tackle for one reason or another. I would actually like a couple of new backs so that Allen doesn't have to take as much of a beating.
  18. It's clearly a penalty by the current rules. Look at the example starting at :53 of the video. It's nearly identical to the foul called on Ford. I think it's a bad rule because the QB, unlike other players, is likely to stop before he gets to the LOS so that he can throw the ball, so allowing the OL to protect his blindside is important for safety and the defender can see the blocker coming, but it's a foul none-the-less right now.
  19. Vincent Taylor?
  20. Yeah, but if spending money = being a good owner then how do you rate Daniel Snyder? You've got to make the right moves too.
  21. This has to be the best. I have it as my cell phone tone:
  22. How much more success / offensive innovation has he shown than Don Coryell, who is not in the HOF? I see them in a similar light. I think he needs a championship to make the hall.
  23. I think he'd be a great player signing. (*** ducks ***) IF he'd be willing to be a backup/mentor. With Daboll as the OC and the Bills running many Patriot concepts, what better veteran in the QB room could there possibly be? And if he had to play he'd be a heck of a lot better option than Matt Barkley. Plus there's practically no chance of a QB controversy because of his age. But I'm sure he wants to start somewhere.
