The offense has been bad because teams have figured out that you can just lock up the bills WRs in man because they can’t get open and Allen can’t run anymore. But they still have a lot of talent- good QB, RB, OL, TE (when healthy) so I think Brady and co. will figure some things out and steady the ship. The defense is just devoid of talent so they’re sunk basically. Average is probably their ceiling.

Garrett Wilson would be another one. He’s got to be dying inside playing in that offense.

Maybe the Bills can get Waddle from the wreckage of the explosion.

It’s tough to judge. You could take the point of view that McDermott had his best defenses when he still had pre-Bean talent on it, so that would make it Bean’s fault. On the other hand, it could be that the NFL has passed McDermott’s scheme by and he’s never adjusted. Who knows?

I don’t know who #90 is, but he’s in the backfield on every play.

He did ok. He got beat a few times but made some nice plays as well. He is a backup for a reason, but he didn’t embarrass himself, IMO.

Moot made a play or two, but he is what he is, an average starting level NFL DE. Pretty good vs the run; below average pass rusher.

Babich and the defense will be judged by how they perform in the playoffs against the strong offenses. The game against the Ravens showed that they have a lot of improving to do over the course of the season. Hopefully, they will do it.

The play doesn’t end when he catches the ball, even though it’s a penalty as soon as he touches it. So, for example he could fumble or there could be offsetting penalties or something.

I seriously doubt that Hawes is a better blocker than Anderson so, unless he’s going to get consistent targets in the passing game, it will be a downgrade when the Bills go big. They threw to him once last night and it was a big play. The running game was below last season’s averages. I don’t like that trade off. Now, it’s the Ravens and just one game, so we’ll see how this works moving forward but I’m not in favor of reducing the effectiveness of the running game for 1 or 2 targets a game.
