  1. I think a strong AFCE would help the Bills. It may be more challenging to win the division, but if they did then they would certainly be ready for tough playoff games. KC is a good example.
  2. I hear you, but players regularly said good things about Dick Jauron too. Maybe I’m wrong, but I think most NFL coordinators are very good coaches or they wouldn’t get those jobs. However, at that level you have to be elite to stand out because you are facing top coaches too. All that being said, Dorsey will get another year and should too. This was his rookie season as OC.
  3. Are the Bills planning to go into next season with just 10 players? It will never work. Where is everyone else?
  4. Thank you. I don’t think people understand that the term ”sprain” is not a precise medical diagnosis. It’s like when you “jam” your finger.
  5. Right. There is actually a lot of good thought, analysis and even original information on here. It seems that the other boards are 90% rage posts.
  6. I occasionally visit other fan boards to try and get some first hand perspective on things and TBD is, by far, the mildest fan board I’ve seen. That’s what makes all the people slamming the “poisonous” atmosphere on this board strange to me. But it’s all a matter of perspective I guess.
  7. He’s apparently a heck of an interviewer so I’ll bet he gets hired.
  8. You should go back and look at the 2017 roster. It’s not as bad as you are implying, particularly on defense. I wish the Bills had that defense against Cincinnati.
  9. The team McD took over had records of 9-7, 8-8 and 7-9 the previous 3 seasons. He guided them to 9-7 his first year and made the playoffs because of a fluke play by another team. I think he did well, but that doesn’t exactly sound like CoTY material to me.
  10. Jan Stenerud. Guy was the second. As a kicker, Tucker will has a more realistic chance than guys like Hester and Tasker, but I hope they all get in.
  11. True, but since Hester primarily played special teams it’s going to be a huge uphill battle.
  12. A lot worse ones out there than that… https://moneyinc.com/worst-charities-you-shouldnt-be-donating-to/
  13. If you watched the Bengals game then it’s obvious they need to prioritize DL and OL in the first 3 rounds- pretty much any position there would work. Then take the best available player after that. And if they can’t resign Edmunds, then ILB moves up the list too. Forget FA except for role players and backups. They don’t have the money to get solid starters that way. Bring Doug Whaley back as scout? 😊
  14. I don’t see the Bills drafting a WR early. I fully expect a defensive pick. And as much as is sucks to write it, they actually need help there too, especially if they lose Poyer and/or Edmunds. That would leave serious holes at all three levels.
  15. I’m not sure Shakir is an ideal slot WR. He doesn’t look especially shifty like Beasley was and he’s not a great blocker - but maybe he will start to play faster and his blocking skills will improve year 2.
  16. Bills desperately need another reliable pass rusher besides Miller (assuming he returns close to his pre-injury form). I had hoped it would be Oliver or Rousseau - both if the Bills got lucky, but it looks like it might be snake eyes instead. They’re both decent players and Rousseau will probably improve a little more, but neither one is the pass rushing force they were looking for or need, IMO.
  17. I thought the league hadn’t announced the cap for next year. How can we know how far over the Bills are?
  18. Yeah, but other than that he’s solid
  19. What draft picks do you think you are going to get for him? You'd be lucky to get a mid round pick at this point.
  20. When you try and grade a draft right away people say that it's too soon to really know and when you do it later, it's an "exercise in finger pointing." So I guess just don't think about the draft at all?
  21. This is good news. I hope Rogers ends up in NY too. It will make the division games more fun to watch and the competition will force the Bills to improve or sink.
  22. It's not on Kromer, IMO. The Bills offensive concept is an OL nightmare: a pass heavy offense that doesn't have a strong short passing game. Good luck.
