  1. What’s makes it really strange is that Bills have a money QB, which is one of the things you usually associate with teams that are good in close games. In Allen’s defense, he does leave the field with the lead a lot.
  2. I’d say Douglas and White are pretty much trade offs, but Joseph is no replacement for Jones who is far more active and, of course, there is no one even close to Milano on the roster. The defense will play hard, but it’s going to take 30+ points minimum to win that game, IMO. And even that might not be enough.
  3. They have a 0.626 win percentage, 3 division titles and 5 playoff appearances in 6 years. I think that’s the opposite of struggling.
  4. They directly cost the team the Jets game too. Smiley will be gone after the season. I doubt he’ll get a pass.
  5. The vote of confidence is practically a guarantee that a firing is forthcoming.
  6. This sounds like total BS, but who knows.
  7. I doubt they lose to the Raiders, FWIW.
  8. If you list the current Bills starters, factoring in the injuries, on both sides of the ball, I don’t actually think you’d see “above average talent”. They have a top end QB, but the rest of the team is decidedly average right now, IMO.
  9. It’s a classic example of the refs not enforcing the intent of the rule. Intentional grounding is a penalty to prevent the QB from avoiding a sack by intentionally throwing the ball away (although this is ok if he’s outside the pocket for some reason, but I digress…). Allen was obviously not doing that.
  10. It’s not “complimentary football”
  11. You joke, but I’m sure this is it. They wanted to play ball control and avoid a shootout with the Bengals, who they feared would school them in a high scoring game. It’s the usual strategy of the underdog.
  12. Good looking opening drive by the Steelers.
  13. That Lion logo on the helmet looks like something a 5 year old would draw.
  14. Think they miss Carr yet?
  15. Lol. Nice throw by Garoppolo. Just threw it right to the safety.
  16. Reminded me of that guy from SNL that denies the most obvious things.
  17. Lol. Awesome explanation of why an obvious intentional grounding actually wasn’t one.
  18. Absolutely. At first I thought it may have been an RPO, but after looking at the replay, I see that it’s just a straight up hand off. The WRs don’t even move on the snap. They just stand there. If you’re going to so that, then put in your big guys.
  19. He wasn’t clearly downfield when the ball was thrown. It was a very close call. And since it had absolutely no bearing on the play I’m fine with the no call. Calling that play back because the OL was a foot too far downfield would have been exactly the kind of nonsense I hate from the officials.
  20. If you think this then you should waste a few minutes visiting some other fan sites. They will be an eye opener.
  21. Or you get Tom Brady. But I agree that Allen is very exciting to watch. He makes a lot of amazing plays that more that compensate for his screw ups.
