  1. A lot worse ones out there than that… https://moneyinc.com/worst-charities-you-shouldnt-be-donating-to/
  2. If you watched the Bengals game then it’s obvious they need to prioritize DL and OL in the first 3 rounds- pretty much any position there would work. Then take the best available player after that. And if they can’t resign Edmunds, then ILB moves up the list too. Forget FA except for role players and backups. They don’t have the money to get solid starters that way. Bring Doug Whaley back as scout? 😊
  3. I don’t see the Bills drafting a WR early. I fully expect a defensive pick. And as much as is sucks to write it, they actually need help there too, especially if they lose Poyer and/or Edmunds. That would leave serious holes at all three levels.
  4. I’m not sure Shakir is an ideal slot WR. He doesn’t look especially shifty like Beasley was and he’s not a great blocker - but maybe he will start to play faster and his blocking skills will improve year 2.
  5. Bills desperately need another reliable pass rusher besides Miller (assuming he returns close to his pre-injury form). I had hoped it would be Oliver or Rousseau - both if the Bills got lucky, but it looks like it might be snake eyes instead. They’re both decent players and Rousseau will probably improve a little more, but neither one is the pass rushing force they were looking for or need, IMO.
  6. I thought the league hadn’t announced the cap for next year. How can we know how far over the Bills are?
  7. Yeah, but other than that he’s solid
  8. What draft picks do you think you are going to get for him? You'd be lucky to get a mid round pick at this point.
  9. When you try and grade a draft right away people say that it's too soon to really know and when you do it later, it's an "exercise in finger pointing." So I guess just don't think about the draft at all?
  10. This is good news. I hope Rogers ends up in NY too. It will make the division games more fun to watch and the competition will force the Bills to improve or sink.
  11. It's not on Kromer, IMO. The Bills offensive concept is an OL nightmare: a pass heavy offense that doesn't have a strong short passing game. Good luck.
  12. Beane has gotten the big things right: QB, salary cap, primary trades/FA (Diggs, Miller). But the drafting has been average. Can’t have everything.
  13. I’m a little confused by the question. I assumed you meant by the current GM, but then I read that’s not what was meant. Are we talking about players currently on the team? Drafted by Beane? Ever? What’s the question here?
  14. The really crappy part is that despite this, the defense poops it’s pants every post season.
  15. I think they started off that way but they have gotten less and less aggressive each year. It seems like a conscious change in concept.
  16. The Bills allocation of resources has been right on, IMO. They’ve spent decently on the OL. The problem is that their ROI has been poor. Same for the DL.
  17. This is all pretty obvious. I think it’s clear the defense needs to be better up front and more aggressive. But I wonder what change in running game style he is thinking about. I suspect he wants them to replace Singletary with a big back and run more of a power running game, but that’s just a guess based on his previous teams.
  18. Yup. The Bills defense needs to face some good QBs on a regular basis instead of the clowns in the AFCE. Maybe that way they won’t look like deer in headlights when Mahomes or Burrow come to town. Plus he’d be a heck of a lot more fun to watch twice a year than Mike White.
  19. I think the Bills need to decide on what scheme they want to run offense next year before making decisions on players. If they want to continue the “run more and throw deep” approach, then they definitely need more deep speed, a better OL overall and probably another RB. If they want to get back to the short passing game then I think they need another slot guy, a TE and a new OG.
  20. This was my understanding as well. They’re basically equal in the hierarchy. Not that anyone is getting fired anyway.
  21. Bengals will be a tough matchup. If I had to put a number on it, I’d say 45% chance for the Bills to win it. They really need their A game in all three phases to pull it out, IMO.
  22. This is just conjecture. Bottom line is that he has never had a good passing game and this is a passing league, so anyone hiring him to lead a modern offense would be gambling big time.
