They dismissed him claiming mistakes were made. They don’t need to prove that in order to dismiss him. However, it is equally possible, and maybe even more likely, that he didn’t make any “mistakes”, but that the protocol just sucks.

If this is going to be credible at all, then the NFLPA needs to explain the mistakes that they claim he made. They don’t actually have to prove anything to dismiss him. They can do that even if he made no mistakes at all.

I would add Dick Vermeil and Weeb Ewbank to the consideration for that 10th spot.

I think you’ll see Moss when they go 10 because of his blitz pickup ability. There was a lot of talk about using more 12 but they really only have one good TE so I doubt you’ll see this much more than last year.

To be honest, I think it’s unlikely that White will be back anywhere close to 100% at any point this season. He may play, but I doubt he will be fully confident in his knee and that’s not even factoring in the rust. I think next season is more likely before we see the old Tre White.

I’m a little concerned over the CB situation. Starting Jackson and Elam is far from ideal, and when you consider Benford is the 3rd CB, you have two rookies and a second year player as your primary CBs for at least the first quarter of the season.

The backup outside WRs are Stevenson and Kumerow. I hope Diggs and Davis stay injury free.

Honestly, I think McDermott said exactly the right thing at the PC. He wants to be proactive, find the truth and then decide what to do based on that. Unfortunately, this should have been done when they were scouting the player or at least when the girls attorney made the team aware of the accusations. It seems like they did a half baked investigation pre-draft and then put their heads in the sand when the attorney contacted them.
