  1. I can see why Poyer gets snubbed. He kind of splits the votes of people who like the Bills D with Hyde and he doesn’t get many interceptions so he doesn’t really flash on the highlight reels. But he’s an excellent safety.
  2. Well, unless the NFL cancels the game due to Covid, they're going to kick it off at 1pm regardless of who is available on the OL so the Bills better be ready. If it's Spencer Brown again at LT then I hope they have a plan to give him a little more help than they did last week.
  3. As you say, it's fun to laugh at Meyer and he may be an asshat, but he is one of the winningest coaches in college football history so he isn't totally inept when it comes to coaching.
  4. Again, he was their swing tackle so he should have been at least somewhat ready. If they really had absolutely no backup plan in case their starting LT went out other that to throw a rookie RT over there "hours before the game" with minimal preparation then some coaches need to be fired.
  5. I keep reading that Brown should never have been put at LT, but wasn’t he the Bills “swing tackle” coming out of preseason? It was not a tough choice. He was obviously not ready, but that’s due to an overestimation of his current ability, IMO.
  6. 1. Obada and Davis played like they had something to prove. 2. The Bills need Dawkins back badly for next week. 3. Allen is amazing to play the way he does with no blocking.
  7. I agree. If you watch the Vince Lombardi documentary on ESPN you can hear Frank Gifford saying how many Giants players laughed at Lombardi and didn’t take him seriously for treating the players like college kids when he first joined the team. He needed time to adjust his methods and admitted so. Even good coaches need adjustment time.
  8. I don’t see any 3-4 LB position he can play. He’s not nearly a good enough pass rusher to play 3-4 OLB and not physical enough for a 3-4 ILB. He’s a 4-3 LB and the way the Bills use their LBs he plays OLB a lot already so switching him won’t be that big a difference. Not to mention that Milano is way better than him and they only play 1 OLB 90% of the time. He obviously can’t cover well enough to be a safety in this defense. Just look at the OT play. He is what he is: a slightly above average 4-3 LB VS the pass and slightly below average VS the run.
  9. I'm sure that adjustments were made, but I think part of the improvement was due to the Bucs dropping their intensity after they so easily raced out to such a big lead.
  10. He hasn’t shown anywhere near the pass rush skills to be a 3-4 OLB.
  11. They have the fourth most expensive OL in the league according to Spottrac. How about picking better players and getting some decent OL coaching?
  12. Yeah, I think it's retirement time. The only problem is they don't have a replacement despite all the money invested in the DL.
  13. This is great, but I think most people already knew that. I guess it's nice for a national audience to see it.
  14. I'm ok with the no calls if they were consistent. If these plays weren't PI then the calls vs Gronk weren't either.
  15. Some serious overreactions in this thread. 😂 He's not great, but he's an average NFL MLB. I don't think the Bills are in a position to "cut him".
  16. Underperforming with respect to expectations will do that to you.
  17. The Pats averaged 4.9 ypc. The league average 4.4. That’s even though they knew they were going to run on every down and were playing run all the way. So that’s frustrating. But I’m sure what really hurts is that people have been calling the Bills defense soft since the Colts game (some even since the Titans game) and we’re predicting that the Pats would run all over them. The Bills spent all week thinking “we’ll show them”, but then on game day they got steamrolled as predicted.
  18. I’m not sure how you can build a team that passes on 2/3 of their plays and a defense that plays nickel as their base defense, and then wonder why you aren’t tough and can’t run the ball.
  19. Aside from the two playoff losses, this is the most devastating loss in McDermott’s tenure with the Bills. Not only was this a home loss to their main divisional rival that seriously damages their hopes for even making the playoffs, but the manner of the loss clearly rocked them mentally. They got physically dominated, and now you have coaches calling out players in the PC, players snapping at media and fans grasping at straws. The team went into this season with Super Bowl aspirations, but now it’s clear that they have fatal holes in their roster and people seem to be cracking at the realization.
  20. Exactly. An 80% Feliciano would be a major liability.
  21. Not sure he was even that good. He was a solid starter who could "drive the Cadillac" that was built around him as Bill Parcells used to say. If that's what he turns out to be then I'm not sure the Pats can win a championship in this day and age with a QB like that.
