    Who is the other starter opposite White? The way they’re rotating Benford and Elam I’d say it’s going to be Jackson. Elam is #3 right now, even before White returns. Benford is getting more reps than him and Jackson never comes off the field.

    Would make sense if it was actually possible to recover an onside kick under the current rules. At this point, it would basically just be giving away field position.

    The drop off from starters to backups is pretty steep at several positions. Milano to Bernard. Edmunds to Dodson. Poyer to Johnson/Lewis. Those starters really need to play.

    Unfortunately, what the fans want is of no importance to the people making the decisions.

    The question is when is it too early to make those kinds of calculations. It was still the third quarter, so who knows what the points situation is going to be like at the end of the game. It's hard to predict, as you can see by how it turned out.

    Usually those Thursday games are low scoring and slopping so I'd be looking at the under.

    In hindsight, I'm sure that they would have done just that. I'm sure they expected him to be back by now.

    The scary part is that I don't think anything did change. The Browns just started challenging the CBs more. They were beating them all game but didn't start to really throw it aggressively until the end.

    I've been a proponent of helping the DBs because they're bad, but you may be onto something here. At some point, you've got to just say wtf.

    Milano was awesome. Jackson, Benford and Dodson really struggled. Congrats to Cook on a breakout game. Knox was solid. Allen struggled but managed the game well. I'm really happy to see him not turn it over. How complicated can it be to run Hines on a sweep.

    I don't know how great Edmunds is, but Dodson has no business starting. I think you may see Klein next week if Edmunds can't go.

    I'm sure that they could have found someplace to practice.

    They're playing nickel and dime the entire game, with the safeties dedicated 90% to helping the CBs in coverage (to the serious detriment of the run defense) because they aren't confident in the CBs in coverage. Even still, they got roasted. That doesn't inspire confidence in me.
