  1. Why not just adopt the college rule? It’s so much fairer than this nonsense.
  2. PSLs are just another way for the super rich to skim money off everyone else. There is zero benefit to fans. They pay more, with new restrictions, for the same thing they’ve been getting up to now. This is so that the owners pay even less for a stadium that benefits them financially almost exclusively. But as has been said, it’s supply and demand. If you want the supply, then you need to bend over.
  3. The Bills have a very weak RB room, IMO.
  4. Separating Hill from Mahomes will be good for the rest of the AFC.
  5. Thanks. It makes no sense to me. The team just changed their mind after the deal was signed, like they had no plan at all? Bizarre.
  6. I assume there’s some link confirming this that I missed. Can you please post it? From what I read, it sounded like the Commanders claimed that they expected to have an opportunity to match the offer but we’re never given one, hence their reaction of going directly to the player after the deal was agreed to by the agent.
  7. I think the fact that this is being discussed with such passion, and not just on TBD, shows that this is patently false. There are brand and therefore financial implications to the fans beliefs.
  8. Fear not, new targets will emerge. My early bet is on Shaq. Agree. It’s going to be fun times with the cap hit from Allen and Miller in the next few years. No need to pile on Lotulelei as well.
  9. He's a heck of a lot better than Sweeney.
  10. I think it's more likely they bring back Addison than Hughes. But they're both probably gone.
  11. Isn't this exactly the kind of "mortgaging the future" cap games that Beane always says he hates and tries to avoid?
  12. I like how people are saying that this is a good move because the team can cut him this fall, lol. If that's the best you can say about him...
  13. I agree with what you're saying, but the difference is that sacks are explosive plays that can end drives by putting the offense in un-makable down/distance situations, not to mention possibly cause fumbles by the QB. Hurries that force interceptions are as well, but hurries that force incompletions are not. The Bills D could certainly use more explosive plays on defense. They're basically the only way to stop top offenses with the current rules.
  14. On the other hand, the Patriots went to the Super Bowl 9 times over the 17 years they had Brady starting at QB. More than 50% of the time.
  15. The Rams had far from an "All-Star cast", lol. They won the Super Bowl with one good receiver basically. But however you stack it up, they won the Super Bowl with a top 1/3 QB. I think the Raiders can probably do the same so why go backwards looking for a unicorn? Even if you get one, it doesn't guarantee anything. Look at the Packers.
  16. I keep reading that the Raiders can't win a Super Bowl with Carr, but is Stafford really better than Carr? There were a lot of questions about him before he went to the Rams.
  17. I have generally enjoyed his performance on the field, but he’s going to be 30 years old this season and is coming off a major knee injury, so I would be shocked if he improves beyond what he has been- a backup level player.
  18. Based on the snap counts I could online find no defensive lineman got even 60% of the snaps. Ed Oliver was the highest at 58% and only he and Hughes were over 50%. If this is correct then I think that is too even a split. Oliver, at least, should actually be getting closer to 65% as you indicate, IMO. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2021-snap-counts.htm
  19. He doesn’t run the same defense as McDermott / Frazier so it would be quite a transition.
  20. The DA decides whether to pursue a criminal complaint, not the victim. And the victim can be subpoenaed to testify if the DA wants, although if he is unwilling it may not be desirable.
  21. I’m not a lawyer, but I’m pretty sure that it’s not legal to pay somebody to not testify in a criminal inquiry. Maybe he could pay the victim to make a civil lawsuit go away, but not a crime. And even if the victim doesn’t testify, what more evidence do you need than the video and sworn statement they already have?
