  1. Part time. Swapped with White.
  2. When you say “better than average”, that would mean that there are more teams in the NFL with worse talent on defense than better. I don’t think that’s remotely true.
  3. Good returns. The fumble really hurt though.
  4. I think you are overestimating the talent. Bosa is good vs pass, bad vs run. Benford, Rousseau and Epenesa are average. Hairston, Bishop and Walker may be good but are inconsistent right now. OTOH, you have Poyer, Bernard, Milano, Jones, and Johnson all staring and all below average.
  5. Stop the run with a light box and high safeties. Pressure the QB with a four man rush. Give up no big plays. problem is, you need at least 2 app pro DL to make that work and they don’t have them. Not even close.
  6. The talent is there. I’ve always thought that if he committed himself to being in top physical condition he could be in the top two or three.
  7. I wonder how much of that is because the Tampa RBs were constantly into the secondary on their runs.
  8. That’s a group with two #3 WRs outside in Davis and Palmer and maybe a #4 in Moore. I’m not sure that’s average but I guess it is a step up from horrible.
  9. Things that would help the Bills passing game, IMO. 1. A big, physical, #1 WR who can block AND take the top off a defense (example: Mike Evans). I know, what offense wouldn’t that help, right? But since the Bills only play one WR with 3 TE so much it would really help them for that WR to be good. Right now it’s Coleman. 2. Kincaid staying healthy. He’s their only downfield threat right now. 3. True speed on the outside. Multiple players. Maybe they get them a big play, but if not at least they can force defenses into deep zones and open things up for the TEs underneath and the running game. 4. A new OC.
  10. Blocking. And that means a lot to Brady.
  11. I think you nailed it. Aging roster + smaller players = higher injury risk. It’s obviously not 100% guaranteed but it’s a major factor, IMO. That’s two more than Kevin Kolb or Shawn Merriman ever got.
  12. They went from Daboll to this. Quite the reactionary response.
  13. Complimentary football.
  14. Welcome to Joe Brady’s offense. I hope he can block.
  15. I seriously doubt Moore and Samuel are the answer. Don’t know about Palmer since he’s barely played.
  16. To the naked eye, Cam actually looked pretty good today.
  17. No chance for a championship given the season ending injuries and lack of passing game. They may be a playoff team though.
  18. The. Ills offense is totally one-dimensional and their defense is wildly inconsistent. But if they can run it and the defense shows up they can beat any of those teams.
  19. If you watched the team back then it was obvious that Moulds was a rocket sitting on the launch pad. It was just a matter of time and whether he would have a decent QB to help him showcase his abilities.
  20. They have no choice but to help Jackson make the jump but I can’t think of the last DL who went from looking that bad to a becoming a solid contributor. Usually you at least see some flashes in year one (unless they’re hurt). I hesitate to even say it, but I got Maybin vibes when I watched him in PS.
  21. It’ll probably be Solomon playing that “marauder” role now that Hoecht is out, but he’s not great at it. I have doubts that Williams can do it given his small size and lack of pass rushing skill set. TBH, there really isn’t a good candidate on the team. That’s why Hoecht was brought here in the first place.
  22. Would be awesome if the Bills signed him to the PS, paid him to recover and rehab from his injury, then when he’s finally ready to play, someone else signs him and he’s gone. 😂
  23. I’m trying to remember the last trade deadline acquisition the Bills made that amounted to anything. Certainly no one during Beane’s tenure.
  24. Sounds good as long as you hit on the draft picks.
