  1. Still want to sweep them bad.
  2. I’m going to go with Fred Jackson. He was a better back than Lynch, IMO, and would fit perfectly with the team culture instantly becoming a leader. In terms of most impact though, it’d be hard to do better than going from Levi Wallace to Gilmore.
  3. I haven’t watched Adam’s closely, but if he’s better than Diggs then there ought to be a law against him.
  4. I don’t think that’s a given. We’ll see.
  5. Moulds Diggs Reed He’s clearly in that category. Moulds was a great player, but he’s not any better than Diggs, IMO.
  6. I think the core of the question is which teams lost a Super Bowl winning QB and immediately replaced him with another Super Bowl winning QB? I can think of SF with Montana to Young, but that's it. So no, it's not that easy, IMO.
  7. Not that Murphy is great or anything, but he has certainly contributed more at DE than Darryl Johnson. Maybe Johnson is active just for ST and the Bills are going to rotate 3 DEs. 5 DTs again though. Strange mix.
  8. I think he would look a lot better vs the run if he had better 1T DTs in front of him. If that improves next season then I think you'll see Edmunds play vs the run mysteriously improve too.
  9. Yeah, the offense wasn’t really that sharp yesterday. Luckily the defense ant ST picked up the slack.
  10. That's how I feel. They treated him like just another guy and never adjusted during the game. He made them pay.
  11. That last one is the key.
  12. Well they need help here somehow. The most immediate impact is probably to go the FA route. It's tough to know the draft needs until FA has happened.
  13. After the trade deadline, even vested veterans are required to go through waivers if released. https://dknation.draftkings.com/nfl/2020/9/4/21419969/nfl-waiver-wire-rules-2020-which-team-has-top-priority-claims-order
  14. I think Dallas and Tampa Bay should just play in prime time every week. It would simplify things.
  15. Yes, a lot of people were high on Teller. He was a young player and definitely showed some potential before he was traded. It's weird because they gave Boettger time to develop but not Teller.
  16. Now THAT would be ironic.
  17. The inconsistency makes it tough. He is aiming for an area of the field where the coverage scheme is designed to focus. If he kicks it somewhere else- shorter, to the other side, even deeper, then coverage can be difficult. Consistency is critical in getting a good net punting average and avoiding big plays against. I don't think he's having a terrible season. He is in the middle of the pack in net punting average and punts inside the 20. But this is an area he can improve on, IMO.
  18. He's hit or miss in the extreme. He can punt it 70 yards or 12. Makes it tough on the coverage team.
  19. The Bills losing to the Chargers in the 1981 playoffs also sticks out for me. That long pass by Fouts late in the 4th Q to win the game... These regular season losses like the one on Sunday, as tough as they are, are no comparison to losing in the playoffs or the Super Bowl.
  20. After reviewing the rosters from the article, I'd say that the Bills have THE best receiving corps in the NFL. Not just in terms of overall talent but it terms of versatility too. They can beat you deep, short and in the middle. They can run after the catch and make the contested catches too. Plus, they have a guy that can't be covered 1v1 by any CB in the NFL. If someone has a better WR group that Buffalo then there ought to be a law against them.
  21. Couldn't Roberts do the same thing? He's pretty elusive too.
  22. I wonder how it feels for Carroll to have the worst defense in the league?
  23. And when they are playing the worst defense in the NFL.
  24. You can force some turnovers if you put the opposition under duress like the Bills D did today. QB under constant pressure.
