It’s the McDermott defensive timeout taken to the next level. Not only does he get to see your personnel and formation, but by waiting until the last second he gets to see the play as well before the refs can blow it dead. McDermott should start doing this as well.
Matt Darby writes children’s books.
Too obscure? If you watched the Bills in the late 80s /early 90s you will have memorized this factoid from all the times it was mentioned 😊
I’m going to go with Fred Jackson. He was a better back than Lynch, IMO, and would fit perfectly with the team culture instantly becoming a leader.
In terms of most impact though, it’d be hard to do better than going from Levi Wallace to Gilmore.
I think the core of the question is which teams lost a Super Bowl winning QB and immediately replaced him with another Super Bowl winning QB? I can think of SF with Montana to Young, but that's it. So no, it's not that easy, IMO.
Not that Murphy is great or anything, but he has certainly contributed more at DE than Darryl Johnson. Maybe Johnson is active just for ST and the Bills are going to rotate 3 DEs. 5 DTs again though. Strange mix.
I think he would look a lot better vs the run if he had better 1T DTs in front of him. If that improves next season then I think you'll see Edmunds play vs the run mysteriously improve too.

Yes, a lot of people were high on Teller. He was a young player and definitely showed some potential before he was traded. It's weird because they gave Boettger time to develop but not Teller.
