  1. PS: For the last time, Saints screwed themselves. They lost the game on the dumb decision to pass on first down that went incomplete on that same drive. Worst decision ever. Second BOTH the Saints offense and defense saw the field in OT and failed to do their job and lost the game. Not to mention there was missed offensive holding, bad holding, on the same PI play that should have been off setting penalties. Enough about this one play, Saints lost the game on many plays. And they should have been called for holding on the PI play anyway.
  2. Haha OMG, So now we have a new narrative on why Saints got hosed? Last 2 weeks it was because the NFL wanted Rams to win SB to sell tickets. Now it’s because the NFL knew Goff would choke and it would help Pats win? Oh man, some of you need better hobbies to distract you from all these conspiracy theories lol
  3. Except it’s happened a LOT more than that over the last decade. Pats this year along with Broncos, Seahawks, Giants twice, and Ravens..and that’s just off the top of my head. That’s not how you gauge this at all. For example, the 2013 Broncos set all the NFL scoring records and then got blown out 41-8 by defensive monster Seahawks. You’re counting that as if offense was more important and not the fact that the Legion of Boom shut down the greatest offense in NFL history allowing just 8 points. You guys are inaccurately presenting your “facts” and miscrediting things as a result.
  4. LMAO at people taking this way to seriously and making more of it than it is. Lose - Lose for Josh? Haha come on, no gives 2 s**ts about the outcome of this, but some of you act like it’s going to haunt someone lol. Its a silly and fun exhibiiton between two young QBs. Stop making a big deal out of nothing. It’s like people can’t help but make everything negative and mole hills into mountains. Love this, love Josh and love Mahomes is into it. This would be fun. And no one other than Bills fans who want to wallow in negativity are going to care about the outcome a week later.
  5. You say you would love to be proven wrong...while advocating to deprive him of the opportunity to do so. Do you see the irony in that?
  6. You can say that, but that doesn’t mean that’s how it felt to TT. He made the pro Bowl twice here, of course he’s going to feel slighted when benched like that. So easy for people like you on the outside to cast judgements, but you haven’t dealt with being racially profiled your entire life. To act like he has no grounds to feel that way when he was confident in his ability, a 2 time Pro Bowl QB in his only 2 years starting prior to that, is just not fair to him. It’s not up to you or anyone else to decide how he, with all his life experiences and self confidence in his abilities, should feel when benched. Not to mention at the time he was benched we were the 6th seed in the playoffs.
  7. Always a class act and will always appreciate his time here. It was time to go in a different direction, and I love Allen. But TT will always be appreciated in my book and a guy I will always root for in all his future endeavors.
  8. Ive personally forgiven people in my lifetime for some pretty severe things. Has the family of the woman Tyreek Hill beat forgiven him? He’s a guy everyone here drools over and having a big career. He didn’t get cut while Hunt did for something far less worse than what Hill did. Why? Because Hill’s was in his past and has worked hard to prove he’s grown and changed. Sorry, but the family forgiving him is not a prerequisite for someone changing and growing. They may never forgive him, doesnt mean he can’t change and be a better human. So if anyone is going to lead the charge against this kid, they better be leading the charge to ban Tyreek Hill for the same reasons.
  9. Here is my other major draft crush! OSHANE XIMINES - Edge, Old Dominion I had hoped we could steal him in round 3, but now I have a hard time thinking he will last past mid second and could be a late first guy come draft time as more people are catching on to him. My dream scenario: Trade back to #15 with Washington and pick up their 2nd and maybe an extra pick. Use one of our two 2nd round picks to land Ximines. I do think it’s possibke if we trade down that at some point we will trade up as I doubt Beane would plan on drafting 11 or 12 guys. So could also see him packaging our 3rd and a 4th to land a third second round pick too, maybe for a guy like Ximines if he falls into the back of half of round 2.
  10. It’s a game, it doesn’t affect my life. I enjoy wins, but losses don’t linger after the game.
  11. Sorry phrasing was poorly written on my part. My comments about whining was about the media and fan outrage that persists blaming this one play for the loss. So my comments were more generalized in that regard than directed specifically to you.
  12. Pats 31, Rams 27 MVP - Brady James White has over 100 yards receiving and 2 TD's. GO RAMS though!
  13. Well considering a roster is more than a QB, not really fair to put it all on the QB. Rex Grossman played in a Super Bowl, Dilfer won one, Bortles and Sanchize (twice) were in the AFC Championship game. Meanwhile Brees has missed the playoffs more than made the playoffs the last 5 years despite not missing a game. That 11 win team still had Moss, Welker, Gronk on it. And Cassel was serviceable QB, so not really fair to discredit Brady in the equation when it was still a talented roster and had a serviceable QB. Jimmy G took over a 1-9 SF team and went 5-0 as the starter. Not a big surprise they won still when Brady missed some games with Cassel and Jimmy G starting most those games. They still had a talented roster and the GOAT at HC. NOTE: Only shoutout was when Bills used one of the worst defenses in the NFL to shutout Brisset led Pats week 4. Brady is the GOAT. Bill is the GOAT.
  14. It varies state to state, but in most states you can collect if you are fired, and you can here in CA too. Its a common inaccurate assumption that you can only collect if you are laid off. Although that may be the case in your state, but most states fired employees can collect too.
  15. Sorry but this is a GROSS exaggeration. First, Saints set themselves up for a loss BEFORE this play ever occurred when they passed an incomplete pass on first down when they should have ran the ball. That one play is why they lost, not the PI. The PI play doesn't even happen had they not made the dumbest late game decision I have seen since Seahawks threw on first and goal in SB to lose on an INT. We were all yelling WTF are they doing when they threw that incomplete pass, it was a massive error. Second, Saints had MULTIPLE chances to STILL win the game, including starting with the ball first in OT and failed to do so. Second, there is no guarantee that the outcome of the game is any different if they call a PI there, its not like it was a game ending score that got over turned. And like I said before, this play with the PI should have never happened and would not had happened had they not made the mistake above FIRST. So people can whine all they want about the missed PI, but the Saints made prior mistakes that put them into a position where this PI called was so impactful. Additionally, they had other chances to win the game and they neither scored or stopped the Rams from scoring. Both sides of the Saints team got to see the field in OT and they both failed to do their job. It was a clear missed PI moment, no doubt...but man, the whining on this is getting out of hand and lacks the context of all the OTHER self inflicted mistakes and failures the Saints did to lose that game.
  16. I honestly do not think there is any conspiracy here of any kind, officials are human and miss plays all the time, even obvious ones. The one thing on the Saints play is that it's easy for us to see on our multi camera angle that it was PI. BUT in live game action, where they DO NOT get to review the play before making an instant decision on whether to throw the flag, the ball may have appeared not catchable the way the play unfolded and why there wasnt a flag thrown. I am NOT justifying it, they got it wrong, it was PI...but just saying that it is HIGHLY more plausible that in live action the ref made a mistake than risked his very lucrative referee career over regional loyalties. NOW...that being said, NFL really screwed the pooch here letting something like this even happen where all the Refs reside in a region of one of the competing playoff teams. In a game like this, people are ALWAYS looking at ways to blame the refs for results, so you have to know that if there is a controversial call that fans and media are going to go right down this path claiming some sort of biased that threatens the leagues integrity. So, nooooo...Refs didn't intentionally throw this call nor was the NFL involved in trying to influence the outcome of this game. However, really big and stupid oversight by the NFL to allow 4 refs from one teams region to Ref a playoff game. They need to be aware of this possibility and make sure the officiating crews are diverse in this regard and balanced.
  17. Yes in all seriousness, its obvious you are going to get fired if you do this. My guess is he was going to quit anyway and decided this was more fun...or did it this way so they would fire him and he can still get unemployment benefits where he cant if he quits HA Either way... #respect
  18. Wow, video is shocking...and way worse than Rice and Hunt put together. However...if life was about having one mistake as a kid define who you are, then it would be a f-ed up world full of losers. Many people cant understand the world some of these kids come from where violence is often all they know. I am not in any way condoning what he did, the video is astonishing really. However, should a mistake while a teenager take everything away from you for the rest of your life? Especially when you make amends and put the hard and dedicated work in to change and be a better person? Reading the article about his redemption certainly shows what this kid has done, how he has grown, etc. Who we are is kids is never who we are as adults. We all made mistakes in high school, some worse than others. What I see is a young man who seems to have made the changes in his life to become a better person and has earned his second chance. And I think teams will see that on draft night. Could it impact his draft slot, sure, but I don't think it will because it is so long ago and he's worked hard to become who he is today.
  19. This was hilarious! Stupid he got fired for it, especially being a Pittsburgh station haha. Maybe they fired him as a PR thing but will rehire next week haha. Thats what they should do. https://deadspin.com/humorless-pittsburgh-news-station-fires-employee-for-gr-1832196594
  20. Actually that’s not accurate. One we have more cap room than we will spend, we have the space if they want to sign a big contract like Clowney or Lawerence. Second, Murphy’s contract is very easy and cheap to get out of if the Bills want to. It was structured essentially in a way the Bills could undo it this year if they decide. So Murphys deal won’t prevent them from signing either of these guys. Doesn’t mean they will sign either, but that decision won’t have anything to do with Murphy’s contract so you don’t have to hate him extra for it
  21. I’m fine bringing him for the right price, but he needs to PROVE that he’s a #1 WR on the FIELD before he should be paid like one. He has not done that yet.
