  2. Didn't listen Hoobastank much but this one stuck with me:
  3. Reminder what this is all about for the commies: If these projections were in 2024: Trump 322 Auto Pen 216
  4. Things like other water
  5. Sorry you see it that way. The way I see it is Buffalo and Cook are not quite seeing eye to eye as far as the bottom line is concerned.. And I do love Cook the player.. He was one of my favorite players the year he came out. I think he’s a great player but I think he may be asking for too much.. I would love him on a 2yr $20M deal or a 2yr $22M deal but in the end I think he’s really looking to cash in. I see this as a business transaction whereas other fans see their favorite player that they want to see re-signed. I love the guy but at a price..
  6. Patrick Wilson of Weezer wrote the song “In the Mall” about going to the local mall in his childhood. The mall he wrote it about was the Eastern Hills Mall in Williamsville/Clarence.
  7. No, sir. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to come off as inflammatory, I just think that Cook is asking for too much, which is why I referenced his tweets and his brother’s tweets. I think $10M-$11M/year is about right, but in the end I think he wants much more than that. Anyways, sorry for the confusion..
  8. Saving Private Ryan Pulp Fiction Cyrano de Bergerac (w/ Jose Ferrer) The Big Lebowski Close Encounters of the Third Kind Damn, 5 is a tough number. No Butch and Sundance, No Paper Moon, no Apocalypse Now, no Secondhand Lions, no Dances with Wolves, no Jaws, no No Country for Old Men. That's a brutal chopping block. Jodie Foster really nailed Sagan's Ellie Arroway character. Great book, wonderful film. 👍
  9. I'm a week late, but:
  10. Our run first offense cut turnovers in half but it also resulted in Josh losing rapport with the WRs and TEs. By the end of the year we were playing turtle ball and it was very predictable. We had Shakir as a deep threat and no one underneath. Someone needs to step up this year for midrange receptions. I was impressed by the performances our coaching staff got out of our defense in the playoffs. We really can stop the run when we have to. I'm still waiting for a defensive playmaker to materialize. I'll be happy to get ten games of situational pass rushing out of Bosa. This is the last year I give Beane a pass on personnel. Josh is underpaid compared to much lesser QBs and his salary cap generosity is not being leveraged wisely. Without a pass rushing threat, I expect more disguised stunts and blitzes that work some of the time.
  11. Heartwarming story!
  12. He’s the only other playmaker on the offense besides Josh. He’s gotten better every season. Pay the man.
  13. No, no...his dad is Jack Nicholson.
  14. This one’s for you Viagara Bill. Be afraid-er. Be very afraid-er!!
  15. One last hurdle tomorrow: The U.S. and China have reached an agreement on trade, representatives from both sides said after a second day of high-level talks in London. “We have reached a framework to implement the Geneva consensus and the call between the two presidents,” U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told reporters. That echoed comments to reporters from Li Chenggang, China’s international trade representative and a vice minister at China’s Commerce Ministry. U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke by phone late last week, stabilizing what had become a fraught relationship with both countries accusing each other of violating the Geneva trade agreement. At a meeting in Switzerland in mid-May, the world’s two largest economies had agreed to a 90-day suspension of reciprocal tariffs added in April, and a rollback of certain other measures. Lutnick said he and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will head back to Washington, D.C., to “make sure President Trump approves” the framework. If Xi also approves it, then “we will implement the framework,” Lutnick said. Chinese restrictions on rare-earth exports to the U.S. are a “fundamental part” of the latest agreement and the U.S. expects the issue “will be resolved in this framework implementation,” Lutnick said. He indicated U.S. restrictions on sales of advanced tech to China in recent weeks would be rolled back as Beijing approves rare-earth exports. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/06/11/us-china-agree-on-framework-to-implement-geneva-trade-consensus-.html

  16. Genuinely appreciate when things are spelled out for me. Sometimes we don't know what we don't know. Also, when Cook's deal is reported as a 4 year, $5.8M deal, that ramps up the compassion for a guy. The fact that he's realistically expected to make significantly more than that figure, works against the purposes of including that total in these offseason reports. (Not that $5.8M over 4 years of employment should elicit a ton of sympathy from working stiffs like many of us.)
  17. Ok well I saw what I saw you disagree and think I didn't see what I saw fine fair enough. The intent of the post was mostly to say what a good guy he seems to be. The last thing I am looking to do is rip on him.
  18. Good point. This was just a topic on the wgr morning show last week.
  19. These two seem nazi-ish. I knew it would happen eventually - I finally agree with billslandertime about something. White people, do indeed, SUCK.
  20. Mmm...this reply makes my tummy feel all warm.
  21. I have literally nothing to say about this crappy AI picture. There's not enough alcohol in the world for me to drink to come up with something witty to say about this picture. Maybe someone here who snorts pink cocaine can help a brotha out.
  22. Today
  23. Kinda hated the Coleman pick. But I’m willing to give him a full nfl offseason before I’m going to write him off. Honestly, kinda freely to look at a 2nd round pick as money in your pocket. The ring culture has ruined sports. Guys who are in the 1% of their fields, who are amazing at that level are “losers” if they don’t win a SB or championship. You get coaches fired 2 years after winning a championship. It’s insane.
