If he says he likes ranch dressing, I’m painting a dick on his lawn. I don’t care if it’s at a hotel.
-
It's almost as if the NFL just doesn't like him, he's never been real successful only the 1 season with Philly if I'm remembering correctly . It's like some players are really good in college and can't do the same in the NFL he is the same way .
-
He even drives his custom minivan from Vegas to LA to get that haircut. At least he used to. Weird dude, to say the least.

WR 1 lol

This is just a cry for help at this point. I hope this is the end of Beane, for a guy who told us all to shut up he's now signing anyone he can plug the holes he created. Remember when he said he "didn't want to become the Rams"? What a clown.

I dont want to miss the playoffs, there's always a chance to get to a SB even as a wildcard, however small. I have been done with McD since 13 seconds, he's never taken accountability for the worst coaching Ive ever seen in just 3 plays. The players won that game, the coach lost the game. Ive never considered a defense good when they get consistently run on. I think Beane peaked in the Josh draft and its been going downhill from there. I agree with Joe Marino that Beane's bad signings are coming home to roost. The drought means absolutely nothing to me. The drought was the result of not having a QB. Nobody was going to do much with JP, EJ, Captain Checkdown and Fitz and Tyrod had their ceilings. Rex went 8-8 one year and McD got us to 9-7 and with help from Cincy and got us in the playoffs, it was a one game improvement, not some drastic turnaround. It wasnt what Ben Johnson, Vrabel or Payton are doing. Then they got the QB right. I think a lot of coaches would win with a generational QB. I would say this, if it isnt all about the QB, if you put 2016 Tyrod Taylor in place of Josh on this present Bills squad, what do you think our record would be? I think we would be about Miami's record. So really how much better is the team, sans one player? Is the team really that improved or is it because of a draft choice in 2018. I think the Carolina boys have been hitting their heads on their ceiling, they peaked. I like Colin Cowherds analogy, Mark Jackson got the Warriors to the playoffs after some bad years. He got them to the playoffs in back to back years for the first time in 20 years. Sound familiar? They realized he wasnt the guy to take them all the way, despite being a playoff team, which is where they wanted to go and dumped him for Kerr. It was the right move. Change doesn't scare me, doing the same thing with these 2 is what worries me. Being just good,

if KC had done it, they'd be praised

Everybody eats ... A new guy to try and get back to the LOS on tunnel screens... At least he didn't cost us a 3rd.
-
Well, I assume he paid for those haircuts too, so nothing should surprise us.

Game week thread - Bills at Steelers
GolfandBills replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Pittsburgh sticks to their running game with Warren and Gainwell they’ll easily put up 20. Bills will have no answers for it -
oh we lost out on shaheed and waddle...lets get washed up cooks...great move!

I can tell you 82% of the schedule for 2028... @Baltimore @arizona @san fran @cinci Home Steelers Browns Rams Seahawks 3 games in the air: @ AFC West @ NFC North Home AFC South So we know 14 of 17 games.

Gotta disagree here. I’ve been a Bills fan since the late 60s. This is the highest variance Bills team I can remember. They’re 7-4, and all but one loss came down to the final play. I wouldn’t be surprised if they went 6-0 over the last 6 games, as they did in 2021. I would only be mildly surprised if they went 0-6. This is a really unpredictable team

I think that’s fair. The Bills have certainly had challenges this year. The difference with the Bills and KC though is that their group has PROVEN that they can get it done. They been to 5 and won 3 or something like that? This Bills regime doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt that the KC regime gets. They are in year 7 as a team that “can” win the Super Bowl and have played in 2 AFC title games. The Bills roster, if you replaced Josh with Brock Purdy (for example), would win about 5 or 6 games. He is the single most important player to his team in the NFL. They had a Vegas oddsmaker on this offseason and he said that Josh Allen missing a game would move the spread over 7 points, more than any other player in football (Lamar was next). The team isn’t very good and that’s on Beane. With that being said, where I think that we disagree is on the floor. Let’s say that the Bills finish this year 11-6. That seems reasonable. If you would have replaced McDermott with Mike Kafka (for a random example) how much worse would they be? Which games were won with coaching? In fact, you could make a strong case that replacement level coaching would be an improvement this year. The floor with a competent HC is about where they’ll be this year. If you replaced McDermott with Robert Salah (as another random example) you don’t become a 6 win team (as long as Josh is healthy). There is little to no downside risk and unlimited upside.

I like. Looks Diggish and I’ve heard he’s got some dog in him.

Congrats. Looks like Babich has a kid on the team.

Davis and Cooks could be our two best WR and they found them during the season. The bills have future HOF at QB. it's a mind blowing. If anyone can explain the GM's tought process in the offeason, please tell me. I just cant understand.

It would've turned out this way ( America turning into a corporation) even if the Communists won the Cold war. The technology imo created this cultural crisis for the most part...not on purpose, I think it's just an unintended consequence trans national, international financial classes would've emerged regardless. And the fundamental dynamics between men and women changed because of technology too. There's going to be more issues with ai and mass Job loss from technology. I don't think we understand how much the social dynamics of pre industrial society is going to change. I watched the movie fight club again after seeing it years ago and it touches on many of these issues that are even more salient now

I honestly can't say what coach I think is more at fault. I don't like what they have tried to turned Josh into (game manager). It's like a square peg in a round hole. If they just want a game manager, they can pay a worse QB less money and use the savings to build a better team like the 49ers before overpaying Purdy. Also, I think Allen is more likely to get injured taking hits in the pocket than he is scrambling for a first down. They have coached the running out of him, but not given him open targets (be it lack of wr talent or poor play designs) so he holds the ball forever, taking big hits. Sometimes he doesn't notice "what the defense gives him" but that goes back to the square peg/round hole comment. The coaching staff wants to use their sports car only for driving 5 under the speed limit to the grocery store. I also can't say if the poor drafting is all on Bean, his scouts, McDermott demanding process guys, or some combination of all the above. You can't draft that poorly for that many years and stay relevant. They also can't get excited that a player they drafted isn't an outright bust and overpay them for getting over that low bar.

Looking ahead the potential 2026 Schedule
Billsatlastin2018 replied to Nitro's topic in The Stadium Wall
I looked at this after the Fish debacle. I wanted to cry about the terrible lost opportunity this year by this combo of a milquetoast sked, but a stubborn, I am the only one who knows anything -GM, a clued out OC, a HC who can never seem to solve his no tackle, no blitz, no cover D, a WR room without talent and a significant roster made of glass!
