  1. Past hour
  2. Call it whatever you want, he still missed the playoffs with the same exact record that McDermott made the playoffs.
  3. I have 6 extra for Sunday July 27 if you want two. No $ PM your email so i can transfer to you.
  4. You are a Payton guy, but if McD went 7-9 three straight years with prime Josh Allen, there would be blood in the streets. Payton had the better highs, but I don’t think he’s THAT much better tbh.
  5. I waited on Irv, he was a short man and was rather curt. I worked at a very popular restaurant/nightclub ‘76-‘81.
  6. No.. a lot of finance bros live outside NYC and from what I’ve heard, most of them who do live in Manhattan voted for Cuomo or not at all. Women in NYC corporate jobs easily fall into the 50k-100K and 100k+ range and militantly voted Mamdami. It was the working class Black & Latino women who voted Cuomo to no avail.
  7. You do know that Allen made some of those bad decisions in the final drive of the Houston game and its why McD was pissed on the sidelines right?
  8. I am not a fan of PFF and in this case, I totally disagree. Some in their top 10 deserve it but to put Stefanski in ahead of McDermott is frankly a joke.
  9. I think you're talking about his legacy which is fine - he has a better resume than McDermott. In the upcoming season...? I don't really see him as the #2 coach going into the season. Other than beating the chiefs backups in week 18, they lost their last 3 games and beat almost no one with a winning record all year.
  10. Wrong century. Its all mouse clicks these days
  11. The greatest HC of all time was like .500 without the greatest QB of all time. I think it’s safe to say McDermott isn’t in Bill Belichick territory, no? Speculating he would be far better than the greatest coach ever is kind of a bridge too far imo.
  12. such an iconic great Visual here. one of my fabs a-ha take on me
  13. I actually think Cam's "student" co-host is what makes this video funny. Taking notes and acting like he doesn't understand football. That part was entertaining to me. When you can be funny without being obnoxious and keep in character...that's the stuff.
  14. They didn't "hit the wrong spot." They hit exactly what was intended, and followed it up seconds later with another, again, exactly what was intended and what the physics suggested. Nonsense.
  15. that people don't understand how HR works in todays world blows my mind. i can excuse people not getting the whole point Roger serves. He acts on the decisions of the owners en masse. he's supposed to be the face of the bad guy, the heel to the guilt and blame of the problems to keep the individual owners at bay. that people willy nilly don't get upset at the league corporate system is what is funny. the administrative stuff is amazing. not to be political at all but that the league was willing to fine teams for not changing their logo during June is an example of how the administrative wing of the nfl is far more powerful than just Goodell.
  16. Seven out of the last eight years of making the playoffs after 17 years of drought and you focus on the (in actuality) 2 years at the beginning…
  17. What does that have to do with the Sabres "loss of Canadian fans"?
  18. I went to the wine festival there one year, and they offered rides on the track with a professional driver. He would go as fast or slow as you wanted. We choose fast. It was a blast. Used to be you could (not legally) go up on the train trestle, not sure if you can still can since they re-built it.
  19. Looking at head-to-head, McDermott has done well against the coaches on that list. A couple of near misses (Eagles, Broncos) thanks to FGs. But beyond that, lists and rankings are subjective. They're typically nothing more than a means for lazy content providers to publish something to stir up debate and get clicks when they've got nothing to write about.
  20. Do you believe that Sean McDermott is a better head coach than Sean Payton? If so, we STRONGLY disagree. Payton has a Super Bowl and would have 2 without the worst call in NFL History. He changed the momentum of the Super Bowl with a surprise onside kick. He went to Denver with a bottom 10 roster and went to the playoffs. Sean Payton is a way better coach than Sean McDermott.
  21. I think our QB is better. If our coach was better then they (KC) would be up against an all time great coach/QB combo but our coach isnt nearly as good
  22. He's passing game coordinator for the Cowboys under Shottenheimer but i don't think he's going to call anything. His miami meltdown also probably didn't help my opinion of his playcalling. Like what are you doing running 92 offensive plays in that heat and passing way too often. The Bengals/Broncos games before his firing were also, very poorly called games - 8 RB rushing attempts against cincy, and just a total inability to manage clock was becoming a major issue.
  23. Fair or not McDermott will be judged by winning a Super Bowl. If he wins one, then he will be considered a legendary coach in WNY. If he doesn't then fans will be angry at Terry Pegula for keeping a coach who wasted Allen's career.
