  2. Sure, but PHDs do lots of studies, so don’t be butt hurt, just because your favorite sport happens to be a monopoly/ Cartel run my money grubbing Richard heads, lol, nuthin but luv there, SoCal Deek, 😁👍
  3. This. And if they get a high snap, they have to play QB. So, a punter has to be ready to be both a FS and a QB at a moment's notice.
  4. Agreed. The Bills made a halftime adjustment where they had Hawes lined up next to Van DeMark on several plays to start the 3rd quarter. I believe they had Knox help out as well. Passpro was a challenge for him. Apparently he did better in run blocking. He’s OT4 so we can’t harp too much on him.
  5. F*** them kids right Dems? https://www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/news/said-farah-guilty-feeding-our-future-juror-bribe/ "The bribe attempt surrounded the trial of seven defendants in one of the country's largest COVID-19-related fraud cases. The defendants were accused of coordinating to steal more than $40 million from a federal program that was supposed to feed children during the COVID-19 pandemic. Court documents say after identifying and deciding to target "Juror #52," Abdulkarim Farah surveilled the juror, tracked her daily habits and bought a GPS device to install on her car. Authorities think the defendants targeted the woman because she was the youngest and they believed her to be the only person of color on the panel. According to the indictment, the bribery plan was hatched in mid-May 2024. During his plea hearing last year, Nur admitted to recruiting Ali, who is said to have delivered the bribe money to the juror's home. She flew from Seattle to Minneapolis to meet with Nur and agreed to deliver the bribe money to the home of "Juror #52" in exchange for $150,000, prosecutors said. The U.S. Attorney's Office says Said Farah gathered a portion of the $200,000 cash bribe the morning of June 2, 2024. Later the same day, Said Farah and Abdiaziz Farah met with Nur outside of Said Farah's business, giving Nur a cardboard box containing the cash. Nur then met Ali in a parking lot in Bloomington to give her the bribe money. Later that night, Abdulkarim Farah drove Ali to the juror's home and recorded her handing the gift bag full of money to a relative of the juror, explaining there would be more money if she voted to acquit the defendants. Afterward, Abdulkarim Farah allegedly sent the video to Abdiaziz Farah and Said Farah. When the bribe was disclosed in court the next day, court documents say Abdulkarim Farah uninstalled and deleted an encrypted messaging app from his phone to destroy messages sent concerning the bribery attempt, while Said Farah deleted the video he received of the bribe money being delivered."
  6. Separation metrics might be one of the dumbest stats out there. Tons of great WR's have terrible separation metrics because they are X WR's who catch passes in tight coverage. Slot WR's and TE's routinely have great separation metrics because they have a two way run with routes and run tons of crossing routes and go in motion. I also had a nice chuckle reading about 2 pages back about how there was no way the offense could continue on like it did last year and here we are 4 weeks in and probably doing even a little better.
  7. My guess would be, due to lack of mobility if he is the last line of defense in the even of a good return and he needs to be able to run full out and make a tackle. Just my thoughts on it anyway.
  8. I love it … This is what investigation is all about…Something is presented…Then everyone goes out to test the hypothesis…The information gathered either confirms or negates the original info presented. 👍
  9. You quote my post that answers your question and then ask me again?
  10. So because you don't like the guy you "opening your own eyes" and coming up with out of the blue reasoning (which isn't true) why metrics are wrong? Did you know that Coleman is actually targeted SIGNIFICANTLY more in man than zone (like 14% higher). Furthermore, can you point to more than 2 plays he's made in the NFL where he "just jumps over" guys? I think you need to "open your own eyes" a little bit more and not let your feelings for a draft pick affect your view on the player. Is he the best? Nope... but is he improving? Yes.. is he "just a big guy that jumps over them?" also no. If so, I have not seen it. Maybe I need to "open my own eyes" and REALLLLLLY look for him "just jumping over guys."
  11. I knew this would be unpopular, but I saw the “Bills” helmet this morning getting decorated for this week’s game on FaceBook or something. I feel much better about my position - it’s ugly as hell and not a Buffalo Bills helmet. We have some of the greatest uniforms in sports, and they will be wearing this mess instead. I hope this meets their revenue projections, because there is no other reason to do a thing like this.
  12. You’re the one that said Hurts is “never” in these conversations. Like you’ve now acknowledged, he has been before and I think at 14 to 1, those are good odds to take that chance that the narrative starts to swing back in his favor at some point this season. The points you make about his stats are why he is still 14-1, but if he starts to put together a stronger stretch of play and his team is still winning, he’s going to be in the convo. Even though Philly was 14-3 last year, they weren’t even the 1 seed in the NFC and Saquon put up an unbelievable season. Meanwhile, we all know that Josh and Lamar were putting up record breaking seasons too, and the vote swung enough Josh’s way to win it. Josh is deservedly the favorite right now because the Bills have a really good chance of earning the 1 seed in the AFC and Josh is a stud, but if Philly goes something like 14-3 or better and that includes a win over the Bills with Hurts making some big plays to win that game, the narrative could conceivably move towards Hurts.
  13. I remember watching the game in real time and thinking Brown was having a terrible game in pass pro but still doing well run blocking and then realizing half way through it was VDM. I think his pass protection was OK, but given that the ground game didn't skip a beat (and the All-22 reviews and somewhat smart people reviewing the film say this) I think his run blocking was good. If a swing tackle can give you competent play that's about as good as you can ask for and a true luxury to have even a decent backup tackle when many teams struggle to have two or even one decent tackle. I think largely what made VDM look bad in pass protection was that Brown is usually so good that it probably makes OK play look terrible. Kromer's development factory seems to be working. The only "major" investments in the line cap or draft wise since 2022 have been a late 2nd round pick in Torrence and a upper mid-level free agency signing in McGovern. The rest of the depth and signings have been lower level vets like Edwards (whose plugged in nicely as a starter) or lower level draft picks and UDFA's like Alec Anderson and VDM have been higher end backups/role players while SVPG and Grable are also developing along with Lundt. As I watched the game I thought Brown (and then later realizing it was VDM) was getting beat at RT in pass protection but the ground game was not suffering for the most part. I wonder was VDM bad at pass pro or was he just OK but Brown being so good makes OK pass protection look bad by comparison?
  14. His reaction to his interception is conspicuously missing. I can only imagine he said something like “Keon, you are one slow m***** f*****!”
  15. I point fingers at McDermott for the things that I think it is reasonable on a proper assessment of evidence to point fingers at him for. And I certainly don't give him credit for all the positives. A lot of what was right on defense the first six years of this regime was Leslie Frazier as much as it was anyone.
  16. You guys eat paste. Whose jealous of that?
  17. Yeah, I don't care about what some other dudes All 22 says. I watched the game and to my eyes every time I saw him he was getting beat so bad Tyreek Hill tried to adopt him
  18. I'll ask this again. Did the Bills lose on Sunday? Because this board feels like it does after a loss. In many ways, it's even worse. The Bills held the Saints to the same number of yards and points as every other team that played them without the benefit of two kick return TDs. They say there is no such thing as a moral victory, but is there such a thing as a moral loss? I guess there is. How about this for something constructive? The Patriots haven't won a game this year in which they didn't get a least one punt return for a TD. In fact, in both of their wins, they were gifted 14 points due to long kick returns. I'm not talking about a return out to midfield. I'm talking returns either for a TD or to the opponent's 15. #1 thing the Bills can't do this week is to let Marcus Jones return punts. He's been the Pats biggest weapon and it's not even close. Tell that new punter to kick touchbacks or to punt out of bounds. Don't let this happen:
  19. The embedded tweet is from October 2012. I guess the date doesn’t show when it gets posted on here.
  20. Vorse’s post was from Oct 1 thirteen years ago.
  21. Some additional points: - US Congress has oversight of the NFL due to the ruling the prof mentions - The CBA is necessary for the current system to exist. If there ever comes a day that the owners and players do not agree on a CBA and it expires, the exemption ends. 32 teams would then operate independently. No draft, no cap, individual game rights, etc.

  23. 4-22? That's sounds like we've won 4 and lost 22. I mean that's how it works right? I know I'm wrong here as I typically am wrong. What am I not getting?
