Allen missed a wide open Knox on the final play
BuffaloBillyG replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's if Knox even catches it, right? He was wide open and those are the ones he drops. -
And that's why we gotta stop the bleeding here and now. More years of this is just not good.

I was at the game and let me tell you what was happening downfield

11/20/2025 Bills @ Texans post game thread
SCBills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This. As much as we don’t have a Super Bowl roster. Not sure anyone else in the AFC does either. I don’t care if it hurts Brady’s feelings. A serious team would fire him. Get Daboll back in the building and let him work as a Senior Offensive Assistant with Curry or Kromer. Brady is literally getting laughed at by how bad his simple passing game concepts are by any NFL film guru you can find on social media. We can’t fix the personnel, but we can run an offense that has a more diverse protection scheme against an elite DL and better passing concepts so Defenses are completely keyed in on what we’re doing every game. Only get so many cracks at it with Allen and we can’t just give up this year because we have to win 3 road games IF we make it. This team as currently being led isn’t winning 3 in a row.. so do something drastic. What is there to lose? We fall apart and miss the playoffs? Ok.. that’s a risk I’m willing to take if the other option is stay the course and lose in the WC Round at Baltimore. -
yup - we ran it back with an unsustainable model

Is watching the Bills fun for you these days?
Blazman11 replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, it’s not. It was in 2018-2022. Now it’s too stressful as the clock keeps ticking on the Josh Allen fairytale. One thing I cannot stand about football is coaches and front office people would like you to believe football is like splitting the atom. When it’s a very simple game. I’m still mystified that our WR core was deemed acceptable coming into this year when if anyone knows it should’ve been people who are employed to understand the rate of turnovers in 2024 was not sustainable and largely responsible for the 30 pts a game. Remember when teams were terrified of blitzing Allen? Or stacking the box? I don’t think Allen threw a pass over 10 air yards outside of the INT and the Hook n Ladder play. Nobody is afraid of our CFL level of WR nor should they be. At least during the drought I only had to get made one day in April when they refused to draft a QB. -
We do not do well against teams we are supposed to beat.

That was the best defense in the NFL. More so it exposed our inadequacy in offensive scheme. -

Lol I got pissed and shot off the couch so I missed it. Didn’t see the screen again til the clock hit 0. Guessing the same happened to many others -
We are having the year this year that we were supposed to have last year. Even so, it's a hopeless feeling when you don't really trust the leadership to figure things out in the off season

We’ve hit catastrophe now. Would you rather continue to not win with McD & Beane or try a new approach -
Does anyone on the board think Josh would be more effective with Nico Collins as his #1 target??

I agree with speed. They lack it almost everywhere. Don't have a speed edge rusher. Don't have a fast receiver. They finally have some at corner with Max but he is still a bit up and down at the moment. They used to have speed at the second level that was the trade off for lacking size - if you threw short of the sticks to the flats Milano and Taron chased you down and tackled you. But the injuries have taken their toll on both. But fundamentally, even more than speed.... they just don't have enough talent. -
Omg thats hilarious and so sad at the same time. 👏👏

The Houston defense -
Great point. Why are we always always watching some ***** work experience kid learning on the job? Eagles went to the SB, gave up too many points and went and got Fangio. Went back and won it. Meanwhile Babich and Brady try to figure out how to not trip over their own shoelaces whilst 17 gets beaten out of his prime Do you feel confident / hopeful this is also the case this year? I used to feel the same, but this seems different.

It’s easy to post criticism like this thread if you pretend everything’s in slow motion and you can instantly reposition your body and throw. Knox came open after the throwing motion was started. More importantly, it was 4th down and Josh knew he had to QUICKLY get the ball out before the Houston defender diving at his legs resulted in his 9th sack. Getting sacked on 4th down at the end of games happens to NFL QBs more than people realize. We’re just accustomed to Josh NOT doing that. Josh played a good game considering the constant heavy pass rush and getting hit over and over. I’m just glad he avoided getting injured. -
It's just a continuation of the 13-11 pattern we have been in for the last 5 years 13 wins and looking unstoppable most games during one season followed by 11 wins the next season with lots of struggles along the way. Then back to 13 the next year. But come playoff time, none of it seems to matter, they kick into gear.

Been like this for a while. A proper coach would have them prepared. -
He (Josh) is his own worst enemy, in a way He brings the teams wins above expectation to his detriment IMO That is, this is a sub .500 team (talent + coaching) that he brings up to a perennial playoff team, which doesn't allow for adequate talent acquisition via earlier in the rounds draft picks. Buf has drafted in the mid to high 20s with Josh at the QB position when the "talent" around him (and coaching) appears to be, more around pick 12 to 15 That's why we're waxing over the musings of a WR like Keon Coleman vs [insert top 15 talent level WR].... Josh earns MORE than just his paycheck IMO. Beane/McDermott/Brady/Babich should ALL be saying his name FIRST, for things they're most thankful for, at their respective Thanksgiving tables 😃 🦃

Big Blitz replied to OutOfBubbleGum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Too much dead cap. A “rebuild” is not in the cards for this team unless you can tell us how we can operate with 40 plus million in cap space starting in 2027. By then, that’s 2 more years of Josh wasted. And why finding replacements for Beane and McD will be tricky - new regime isn’t inheriting a team with 100 mill in cap space. It will be inheriting a roster of old overpaid jags that may not match their philosophy. This is fast approaching a complete catastrophe. -

Yes it would have counted (ie, been relevant). Texans would have to accept penalty, and Bills would have had another play. I don’t understand why people can’t comprehend this. 😎 -
Still feel good about the receiving corp dipshit? Want to yell at local radio host some more?

Purely as a fan of the game, I can’t say that last evenings tilt wasn’t enjoyable … stressful, edge of you seat, screaming at the TV enjoyment, but enjoyment nonetheless. Add good friends, proper adult beverages, a fine cohiba and yes, my life goes on …. That’s not to excuse some of the poor decisions/performances taking place on the field
