Ex Brown QB Bernie Kosar to undergo Liver Transplant tomorrow.
DrBob806 replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was awesome, sadly an elbow injury in the opening game of 1988 messed his game up a bit. I considered him one of the best deep-ball throwers ever. Smart as hell. If the Browns had a pass rush back then, they would have won at least one SB. Two of the greatest lockdown CBs on one team ever, Hanford Dixon & Frank Minnifield. -
Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
T master replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not quite sure he's the type of player that the Bills are looking for or at least he hasn't shown that to this point and maybe he needs a change already who knows what his deal is but they don't need this kind of thing happening . Plus with Gabe showing he still has some chemistry with Josh Coleman may have lost his spot anyway if Gabe continues to do the things he did yesterday . -
It's the first time this year Cook had no lanes to run. He was tackled right away. I don't know why. They even used many pitches to the outside, all stuffed except one time they did it to the right. IDK why it didn't work this game, but as mentioned, the RBs still had a field day in other ways.

So, how do I respond to this, if I give a thumbs up, is that because I agree with your message or that I agree with the trans message? Hmmmm So I will make my message clear. There is no place in schools for children under 18 to be taught about Trans. Being encouraged to be tolerant is different. Until 18 a dick is a dick, a ***** is a *****. Sports, locker rooms, bathrooms etc must be clear. A child of 8, has no certainty of their future...will they be a priest of fireman, will they be a scientist or astronaut, with they ride a horse or hunt wild boar, will they love baseball or football, will they go to college or travel Europe at 19. Anyone who encourages, assists or tries to convince an 8 year old about a changed physical sexual future should be charged as a pedophile. I don't care if little Joanie, or Johnny was to dress as another sex or a garden gnome, trying to convince that simple developing mind they should make a life altering choice at a young age is wrong and should be illegal.

Yesterday, they finally moved Ty Johnson from exclusively the third down back to the second string back. Bout time

Ex Brown QB Bernie Kosar to undergo Liver Transplant tomorrow.
Wacka replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
He is both elated and very calm. I had my kidney transplant in February 2024. They called me at noon on Valentines Day. I was elated that I only had to wait 2 ½ weeks for a match! And then a calmness came over me. My sister drove me to ECMC and she was so hyped up that she almost went through a red light. I told her "relax, I'm the one getting the transplant"😃. Just before I had to strip down for the operation, I said to her "Say hello to my little friend" when I come out. -

Nothing doom and gloom about it I’m not interested in just making the playoff, we have done that for years now. when is the expectation to actually win it, you aren’t going to have this version of Josh forever. you think this team is built in a way it can win it all, strongly disagree unless Josh hero’s them to it -

GO Bernie !! I'll be routing for you prayers up for you !! 🙏 -
Pretty sure it was a variation of the play they ran against Miami last year on TNF, difference was that the LB didn't get lost in coverage so Cook wasn't wide open.

Tyrell Shavers reminds me of John Stallworth....
Fan in Chicago replied to Kelly to Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall
The coaches must have seen something in Shavers over the past 2.5 years to hang on to him and then roster him this season. If he has worked hard to get to this point, major props to him. And he couldn't have timed his breakout game any better. We are desperate for WR help and if by effort or luck Shavers turns out to be a solid role player, I will feel much more positive about the playoffs. As for Gabe Davis, it looks like the coaches used him in a specific role and didn't ask him to be the deep threat. Which is perfect. The issues in the past stemmed from him being asked to run routes deep and be situationally aware, which imo he struggles to do. If he can be that guy who keeps getting us first downs in the short to intermediate zone, it will be a win for us. -
Just win on Thursday and see how things shake out. The Bills were 6-6 and 3 games behind Miami for the division with 5 games left in 2023. The NFL is a week to week insane variability. The Pats just lost Milton Williams for 4 weeks on IR (high ankle sprain he will be back) who knows how things will shake out.

Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things, and why we need it
Jerome007 replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hey, nobody can or should defend that bonehead play ha ha. But it was two plays in, and in those two plays there was a rusher coming unblocked straight at Josh, while JA is inside his endzone! It was a safety in the making, it became a bad INT. And thanks to the D, 3 points instead of 7. Bu unless Josh missed some blocking assignments, it was not all on him. Crazy to see these unblocked rushers to start the game! -
I’m sure it has a lot to do with them sending us home for the last however many years but seeing Mahomes pop up after that last sack begging for a flag that 15 times out of 10 he gets to extend the drive and seeing his face when it didn’t fly warmed my heart like few things have

Crazy stat of the day: The ONLY defensive player with a stat (tackles, TFL, Sacks, ext) thank ranks in the top TWENTY in the NFL... ...is Cole Bishop and his 3 INTs (T-5th) -
Oh it is and we did it some in the last playoff game against them I just meant it’s tougher to do effectively against the ravens offense because they’ve got multiple good pass catching TEs and Lamar is a bit better than Daniel jones is haha

Yea but what QB who wins the Super Bowl ISNT boderline elite throughout the playoffs? Hurts last year: 4 games: 10 TDs, 2 TOs Mahomes the year before: 6 TDs 1 TO The year before that: 7 TDs 1 TO (3 games) Being elite doesn't mean putting up Allen's stat line from yesterday. Allen had 2 BAD turnovers that will not work against the great teams. Hurts and Mahomes were elite in their SB campaigns because they protected the ball AND help drive offense. The defense isn't super bowl calibre yet, but it wasn't that way at this time of the year last year either. Last year we had Rams and Lion back to back that showed our defense was an issue. The team needs to grow, which is why Beane invested so much into the defense when fans were complaining that the offense needed more talent. Now people are mad that the investment hasn't paid off, but the goal is for it to improve over the next 7 weeks as we get into the postseason. -

I think Keon has some type of mental issue. I think it was the post-game McD speech video after the Chiefs game, Keon is standing in the background and looks like his mind is far away from the Bills. His press conference interviews this season are always short along with his answers. The day he's benched he's out there dancing on the field in warm ups, not bashing him for it, just seems odd on the day you're benched. And if you watch his post-game comments below, once again, his mind seems like it's in another universe. -
The Buccaneers and Dolphins frequently utilized pre-snap motion, often catching the defense out of position. That can be fixed.

It looked like the Tampa coaches found a tendency where Milano has a key that influences him to the center of the field while the RB is slipping out for the wheel route. The TD, they used that and Milano totally took the cheese, the "oh *****" look on his face said it all, but they used it again later and it worked again.

We should sign Gabe Davis to the 53

Gabe made a HUGE catch on 4th down. If we don't convert there game may have a different outcome
