Is Babich still calling some plays? I thought when he let up 330 in the first half against Penix that was the end of it. -
My pet peeve "Opposing fan coming in peace!" polluting all the game discussion on a Bills board telling Bills fans why they are wrong

Screw that, give me the titans in the playoffs, i want go win the game

This roster is a disaster however…..

I mean I was responding to ‘the ravens were never favored to win anything/have never been considered one of the great afc teams’ which is categorically false this board gets a little odd to me at times…the original post was twisting the ravens collapse into ‘not a big deal’ as a way to take away from mcd/beane somehow but you’re perfectly entitled to not like mcd/beane without bending logic like that haha ravens were frequently labeled the best team in the afc We are like 1-2 weeks off from bills fans begging for ravens losses because we were so afraid to see them in the playoffs and now we’re going ‘eh they have never been any good’ 😂 -
Maam, you have no clue, clearly. Your schedule has been as light as can be. Your record is good, yes - but that is vs the bottom half of the NFL. We beat the Bengals, actually manned them if not for a fluke fumble - in the SNOW may I add. That game is useless to study once the snow came. We will see Sundy. The Bills will beat the Pats without a doubt. Sit back and enjoy...

a comment from GDT which resonated with me was along the lines of "how to tell your coaches don't trust their own defensive backfield without actually saying it" respect the Bengals wideouts? Oh yes they did. It showed and made us look weak. I'd credit the poster but searched and couldn't find it

They said the same thing about hyde, and he returned THAT season. It's certainly possible, but he is SO far from a medical professional that i don't think reading his facial expressions should be considered gospel.

You can’t come on here defending your team as a fan and then call out others for their own loyalties and thoughts on their own teams. For example, anyone watching the first Pats vs Bills game knows that the Bills beat themselves a lot more than the Pats beat the Bills. I mean we lost to the Flacons for same reasons, and no one believes Falcons are better than Bills. Now you also have a Bills team full of critical injuries all year. Substantially worse than the Pats have gone through as well. The poster you are mocking for saying even if we drop a game again this week while still hurt and missing key players, he still thinks we have the advantage in the playoffs if we are healthy. Why can’t he believe that? Bills have proven to be a dominant team when healthy, Pats haven’t really been dominant and have also seen their record benefit from a relatively easy schedule. Pats are good and they are well coached and capitalized on Buffalo slipping up against lesser teams multiple times this year to take a cushy lead in the division. But come playoff time, which team has all the post season experience? Which team has the NFL MVP who has many all time NFL post season QB records already at only 30? I mean, come on, you are talking about Mayes first post season, only his 2nd season, and a roster that isn’t as talented overall when everyone on both sides is at full health. Pats are an up and coming team, but they are not battle tested in the post season yet, especially at QB. And their record is inflated with the ease of schedule, which doesn’t mean a lot other than whose stadium the game is in come playoff team. Everyone is 0-0 entering the playoffs. There is a reason it’s know as the 2nd season or the real season. I actually think Houston and that defense are a worse matchup for anyone in the AFC than the Pats who have the better record.

when people talk about the improvement of our linebackers they need to realize that is partially because of the improvement of our interior DL. specifically Jones.

The game went exactly as a lot of other Bengals games went this season. Usually, Ja'Marr Chase makes plays. If you take him away, then Tee Higgins makes plays. IF you cover everything, they still have Gesicki and Iosivas. There is no way to stop all of it when they are rolling, and even if you do everything right, they still make plays. Higgins first TD was an incredible throw and an even more incredible catch that was well defended. Sending all-out blitzes also carries risk because it puts your DBs on islands. That's how that Gesicki TD happened. My point is that the Bengals, when fully healthy, are always going to make plays and score points. But what their offense gives them, their defense takes away. The key to this game was getting a few stops (they punted twice) and scoring when we had the ball. For the most part, the Bills did all that and would have won comfortably if Ty Johnson hadn't tripped and Cook could hold on to the ball. -

I think generally (and especially in a tough-footing snow game), our defensive coaching staff tends to send the D out there in a vanilla basic soft scheme to start, and then over the course of the game tweaks and fine tunes things, slowly tightening the clamp, so to speak. But I hear you… why not tighten the clamp from the get?! -
What's interesting is that Lamar's cap number for next season is something around 75 million, so the logical thought is that the Ravens are going to obviously restructure and or possibly extend Lamar This is something that has the potential to cripple the Ravens down the line because as you have stated and I also believe...Lamar is very dependent on his physical talent and not so much his anticipation and deciphering coverages/making reads and progressions. Let's also not forget how much Derrick Henry has aided his ascension I don't believe that age/father time will be kind to Lamar, and as he loses his supreme athleticism, he will become much less effective as a player. The Ravens like the Chiefs are probably headed for a decline in the very near future, and I'm here for it

He's a legit badass but he's not a loud or flashy guy so he doesn't get a lot of play around here. But for the last couple months he's been an absolute freaking rock out there. After the Bills lost Oliver he quickly realized how important he was going to be to this team going forward and he's completely taken on a leadership role and been working like a galdanged demon. That position is never going to show up on a stat sheet but he's taken on a huge number of extra snaps and if you watch closely you'll see he's been absolutely playing his heart out and has also been effective while doing it. I think that leadership and heart have been recognized by his teammates and because of it other guys, particularly the youngsters, are raising their games in response. The Bills defense has had some serious issues over the last couple months, but he has not been one of them. And while it hasn't been pretty for the unit as a whole, it would be soooo much worse if not for what this dude has been bringing to the table every week. Much respect DaQuan, you are a grown-assed man.

That’s one way to get separation! Wish we had a big body receiver who physically overmatched his assignments.

What about Poyer at Nickel? He still has very good tackling ability & Hanock is better as a coverage Safety.
