  1. Past hour
  2. They definitely need to bring people in. The injury was to his non-kicking leg, so stability is an issue. Not that the kicking leg would change things, but planting to get leverage for the kick is huge.
  3. It's our defense I'm more worried about. if we can score 30-40 we should be good.
  4. McDermott said he expected them to be able to be given time to substitute like normal but it didn't happen for whatever reason on the first one. On the 2 point conversion, it absolutely did matter because they only had 10 defenders on the field
  5. You forgot Hernandez, he had a lot of targets. Too soon?
  6. Sitcom title for Buffalo Bills football is “McDermott Knows Best” But does he? He hasn’t yet, and we are entering a time when a great TV series warps up their successful run.
  7. Yep. McDermott should have never let go of the play calling. I thought the first half of 2023 when he called plays was pretty bad. But he really turned it around after that eagles loss and they were pretty dominant down the stretch. Babich is completely incompetent IMO
  8. We looked like a team that had too much of a good time with 10 days off. Its funny we have never lost with McDermott coming off of a bye but I have never thought we were particularly impressive in those games when coming off of the bye. I always feel like we're sloppy but always find a way to win in the end off of a bye and essentially thats what we were coming off of here.
  9. The real Joe said in several mock draft shows that, despite obvious athletic upside, he was not interested in Walker. Something to the effect of "Let another team find out ...." Felt he needed more lower body power. But after he became a Bill, Joe has been very positive. Says he's really happy to be wrong.
  10. I don't want to be overly positive...and I'm failing. 😁 But seriously, while I can admit Walker still has his rookie growing pains, his splash plays show incredible upside. Right now we have plenty of consistently ok players on D, I am to take a few gambles for results
  11. Sounds like a playboy model gone rogue.
  12. It all comes down to the playoffs. We’ll see once the new year comes around. Until then, we’ll enjoy great football. And let’s hope they learn how tackle before we then.
  13. Biggest concern I still have for the Bills defence is what is their identity? For example.. Spags/Chiefs- You know they wanna blitz and be aggressive. Leslie Frazier- Wanted to rush 4 and play a lot of zone. (Even though I disagree with that strategy but at least it's an identity) 4 weeks in and I don't think Babich has established any identity with the defence. His play calling and scheme just seems random and sporadic
  14. Just a nasty hit here and bad luck for Johnston. Orthopedic docs will often want 24-72 hours from possible soft tissue/ligament injury for swelling to go down so they can get better quality MRI images for decision making. Definitely a decent chance he has some ligament damage he can't play through in there. And since we might not know for a few days it would make sense to work some punters out early in the week just in case.
  15. I can respect that. Are you aware of the Heritage Foundation and their role in shaping the Supreme Court and this presidency? No matter what he learned in his first term? Have you ever read their plan for America? As I have said multiple times I am not someone who buys into absurd liberal policies.
  16. Everytime they talk about the halftime show I am reminded how surprisingly aweome Prince was.
  17. People act that you can just drop anyone into the roles that Oliver and Milano and other play on the defense. No matter how good or talented or experienced that replacement player is, they are always a down grade. The key for the Bills is to weather this injury storm over the next few weeks and begin to get players back. I think people will be pleasantly surprised with how much the D improves.
  18. The defense was dealing with a drastic imbalance in field position most of this game, so I can give them some grace there. When the offense went to sleep for half the game, the D kept it mostly bottled up. However, they don't break down well when pressuring QBs, nor do they tackle well in the open field. And they REALLY struggle to keep contain on the edges. Those are recurring flaws.
  19. Bad Bunny? Never heard of her
  20. We also run the lightest box in the NFL McDermott was ahead of the trend 8 years ago and at the end of the day our two linebacker system is not really good at keeping the run numbers down between the twenties .. even though we have had some solid run defenses here We don't play big And it makes us susceptible to the run occasionally but that doesn't mean we can't stop it when McDermott buckles down Of course not happy with how it looks but they are professionals and need to get better
  21. Not saying he did tonight, but he has before. He opted not to play in the playoffs I believe, when he was cleared to play but was only at 80% of himself.
  22. Bills trying the less popular “bend and break” defense. Extra fun when we get multiple shots of Allen sitting on the sideline.
  23. Babich must go if McD refuses then McD must go if Beane refuses then Beane must go.. But Babich gotta go he is the Kevyn Adams of D coaches
  24. My guess is that Allen was pissed at himself. He shouldn't have been but the guy is his own harshest critic. I liked what McD said because it is true. Just look at the results of the first 4 weeks of this season. Bad teams beat better teams every week. And this has been true as long as Ive been watching the NFL and I was watching the Bills when they were in the AFL.
