  2. I believe even if they do nothing, the saving could roll over to the 2026 cap?? Being a vet, his salary is fully guaranteed after week 1 so not much incentive to cut once the season starts IMO?
  3. Most of the issues can be cleaned up by Kincaid getting better/stronger, but some of it is on Josh. He's got a cannon for an arm, but he just hasn't been good on deeper passes for quite a while now. He had one season where he had above average success on catchable passes downfield, but not so much recently. This guy posted videos compiling all passes of 20+ yards from a clean pocket of many QBs, and you start to see Josh just does not have the touch, timing or accuracy for a lot of these throws. Sometimes we were successful, and sometimes it was the WRs fault (or just a great defensive play), but more often than not, our targets just aren't getting good enough passes thrown to them. But again, Kincaid has bigger issues than JUST passes of 20+ yards. @HappyDays pretty much nailed it describing the miscues. And I wholeheartedly agree about Kincaid needing to be able to come down with difficult catches more often. Not every pass is going to be perfect, but a top-tier TE needs to be able to make those plays in order to be successful.
  4. excellent article https://www.latimes.com/politics/story/2025-05-20/6-doctors-on-bidens-cancer-diagnosis-how-it-may-have-arisen-and-his-treatment-options Dr. Mark Litwin, chair of UCLA Urology, said that description indicated Biden has a more advanced and aggressive form of prostate cancer than is diagnosed in most men, but that it was nonetheless “a very common scenario” — with about 10% of such cancers in men being metastatic at diagnosis. Dr. Howard Sandler, chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Cedars-Sinai, agreed. “It’s a little unusual for him to show up with prostate cancer that’s metastatic to bone at first diagnosis, but not extraordinary,” he said. “It happens every day to elderly men.” The doctors The Times spoke to had no special insight into Biden’s medical care, but said his diagnosis did not make them feel any less confident about the caliber of that care or suggest to them any nefarious intent to hide his condition. For starters, “it would be considered well within the standard of care” for Biden to have forgone testing in recent years, given his age, Sandler said. “Certainly after 80.” Litwin said he believes Biden probably was still tested, given his position, but that doesn’t mean he was necessarily hiding anything either. Some forms of aggressive prostate cancer don’t secrete antigens into the blood at levels that would be flagged in a PSA test, while others can grow and even metastasize rapidly — within a matter of months, and between routine annual screenings, he said. Patel said he has personally found “very aggressive disease” in patients who had relatively normal PSA levels. “I don’t think anyone can blame anyone in terms of was this caught too late or anything like that,” he said. “This happens not too infrequently.” Dr. Alicia Morgans, associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, a genitourinary medical oncologist and the director of the Survivorship Program at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, agreed. Even if a patient is diligent about getting screened annually, “there will be some cancers that arise between screening tests,” she said.
  5. Or he's been double bracketed as a rookie which takes time to learn how to play through bracket coverage He's not an afterthought.. he has multiple eyes on him every snap 7th overall averages depth of target... It's not low for tight ends... 3rd overall in yards after catch per Target... 6th in air yards share PFF which still doesn't matter had him 6th overall for qualified TEs All while being banged up the majority of the year He's not a check down target... Literally just answered your own question as to why he is keyed on.. there's not an elite pass catcher on the outside so they stuff up the middle With his skill set and his age still has a massive ceiling and room to grow People think you take a tight end in the first round and you're getting Mike ditka out the bat... Most players need to acclimate hes gonna have a good year
  6. If they're on the roster for years, but only play the equivalent of a single season.. does that count?
  7. Will it be pistols at ten paces / Or comedic insults with a keyboard ?
  8. Upon rereading your query Ned, I realized I glossed over you’re a former WNY’er so I deleted my diatribe. That said, I repeat that I’m tired of the snow and hoping to move north of the 90 in my next move, as it’s usually the cut off from the snow storms. Southtowns has more charm. Have a kid in the Northtowns and one in Southern Niagara county. I live 3 miles from the stadium. I’d say on average each year, mind you I’m retired, I’m housebound for at least a day due to snow 8-10 times a winter, compared to their none! Sometimes more, rarely less. I used to say it wouldn’t get to me, I was wrong. So, you got to ask yourself Ned, what’s your snow tolerance, because in the Southtowns you will get what Buffalo is famously noted for…..well besides chicken wings and losing Super Bowls.
  9. Good because I am already sick of you moving the goal post with your bad arguments. You were mad that I said the trade-up for Kincaid hasn't proven worth it to this point.........and then you are saying Beane made a "ridiculous" evaluation plugging him in immediately and "expecting" results because in your eyes he was totally unprepared for the NFL. The fans didn't give him all that playing time and targets. The team did. I mean, pick a lane for fuxake.😂 You don't pick a non-premium position like TE in round 1 and then hope he starts playing like a first rounder in year 3 or 4.
  10. What interesting is they all do have stars, they just aren't household names at this point like some have been. Brunson, Edwards, Haliburton, and Gilgeous-Alexander are elite players.
  11. I’m having a hard time finding a more impactful one year stint than Leonard Floyd.
  12. The point is people are saying that he's only used for checkdowns yet by advanced metrics he's going downfield more than the majority of tight ends People think he's going to be running 30 yard seam routes all game But that's not what an NFL tight end does
  13. It’s wild that every single person on this message board has more rushing yards in a Bills uniform than Reggie Bush.
  14. TEs aren’t usually used for deep passes. We just had no other options
  15. Steve smith showed Coleman for his size, wasn't physical or strong enough.
  16. But, but, everyone needs a a Wang. As far as recent years or let’s say under McBeane, Floyd was the most impactful player to me and loved watching him. I don't blame him for chasing the dollars.
  17. I mean that's a hyper-specific stat with a very low sample size across the NFL. Like what am I supposed to take away from that? It doesn't eliminate the year he had which was indeed bad. Below 60% catch rate, low ADOT, 34.5 YPG, 6 yards per target. All that with the NFL MVP throwing him the ball and no elite pass catchers taking targets away. There's no dressing up those numbers. It was bad. The narrative du jour amongst Bills fans is "high uncatchable target rate." Okay... What does that mean? Why are the passes uncatchable? Why is Kincaid the only target Allen has had with that problem? I think there's a lot of blind hope masquerading as analysis.
  18. https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/tremaine-edmunds/50905 Make sure you have the puke buckets near by on this one..
  19. My sense of smell is not what it used to be. (I’ll get there, I promise!) It’s a nice early summer night here, with a light breeze. I tried to let the dogs out but the older dog wouldn’t go if I didn’t. I went out and sat on a patio while the neighbor behind us cut his grass. He’s got a fairly big lot for a push mower, so it takes him a while. He almost hummed me to sleep. When I was 14 in NY I got my working papers. I was too young to do much else, so I pushed a lawnmower for 40 hours a week at the complex we lived in. The hum of the engine, the vibration and the smell of the gas and the fresh cut grass stays with you. When I gave in to the dog tonight and went down to the patio I realized the smell of his fresh cut grass from the guy behind us was the strongest scent I can remember. I sat down and listened and smelled until he finished. It was crazy how the smell took me back to that time. Much like when I get a fresh whiff of tidal marsh around Hilton Head, or crushed shell pathways in Harbour Town. Smell doesn’t get enough credit. .
  20. He did that on a team that led the NFL in rushing yards, to boot. A very Billsian accomplishment.
  21. Its not necessarily 50/50 balls.. Keon is going be successful if he can better use his frame to his advantage, and improve strength in general (ie: dont get knocked off slant routes, get off jams, YAC. etc). Josh / Keon can be real successful also at the back shoulder, sideline throws-- if Keon can be better with leverage and playing through contact.
  22. Allen and kincaid also completed the third most deep attempts between a quarterback and TE last year In a bad year according to some
  23. RIP This is one of those that hurt a little.
  24. The title was changed to include players with 2 year stints. How about some love for Aaron Maybin?
