Yup, and gets better with each year, so seems poised to have a monster year running and catching. Will challenge for the most all purpose yards. And I had thought he was too slight to be a featured back on a run heavy team. But he then transformed himself physically which made him even harder to bring down and tougher at the goal line. His asking price this year will almost assuredly look like a bargain next year.

The last time we declared war was WWII. Funny you mention the Constitution because many of the arguments against the Constitutionality of the War Powers act were in fact claiming that that the imposed limit on POTUS were unconstitutional, not the other way around. So your point about constitutional conservatives being upset is a bit misguided.

I also expect a fair bit of chest puffing if NE starts anywhere near half-decent. Maybe more from their fans than the team, but guess what? Like 30% of national sports media are Boston fans. Any chest puffing will make its way to McD/Allen, and they tend to take that personally.

The Deep State War Heats Up

the initial ruling found it unconstitutional. The appeals court did not. Long way to go before you can make the above statement. But the judiciary has been purposefully politicized by trump. It's what dictators do. "Earlier Thursday, U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer ruled the Guard deployment was illegal and both violated the Tenth Amendment and exceeded Trump’s statutory authority. The order applied only to the National Guard troops and not Marines who were also deployed to the LA protests. The judge said he would not rule on the Marines because they were not out on the streets yet." from PBS. unfortunatley, there are several deranged rhino clones here....or at least like minded morons. -
It's not about who is better. All I'm saying is that at his current pace, Allen will have slam-dunk HOF numbers by the time he reaches the age of 36. And if he can play a few years beyond that, he's going to totally obliterate the record books. The media downplays his greatness now, because I don't think many of them have actually done the math. His current pace will have him at this point in only seven more years (all-time rank in parenthesis): Total TDs: 524 (#5) Total YDs: 61,152 (#10) Pass TDs: 390 (#8) Pass YDs: 52,868 (#12) Rush TDs: 130 (#3) Rush YDs: 8,284 (#44) Regardless of Super Bowls, there isn't a single voter who is going to ignore that kind of resume.

Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not trying to shout anything down. For all I know Coleman could be a bust, like I said the odds are against him as they are pretty much against everyone. I'm just pointing out the stupidity of all the posters here who think they can tell when a player is going to be a bust or be great, as the reality is we all know very little. There's too many people here who think they are the smartest guy in the room when it comes to player evaluations. I know I'm not as are almost everyone else here. -
Yeah I'll watch off an illegal stream as never had any issues with them. I've actually seed the quality better there than on legal streams. Or spoof IP address to Buffalo. Haven't tried that in a couple of years.

You really just don’t see busts like this in the NFL anymore. A top 10 pick at QB with 18 starts in the NFL?

Lamar has 2 MVPs and 3 first team All Pros. That basically gets you in. Of the guys coming up with Josh, I think Josh is firmly behind Mahomes and Lamar. He’s definitely ahead of Burrow (although look for a Burrow MVP award coming this year if they can win their division or even sneak a WC). Why you think Josh has a better HoF resume than Matt Ryan? This list is kind of telling imo. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/hof/hofm_QB.htm

You guys should go back and read the OP in this thread. Tulsi Gabbard is his hero. It appears that the Deep State has gotten to Trump and they've won. Again. I mean, if you're into this kind of conspiratorial thinking .... -
I did not vote for this reason.

Matt Leinart's short Bills career
dwight in philly replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good man for saying such nice things about the fans. -
Fair. I do think if he played at a similar level for the next 4 years or so, even without extra hardware, that he gets in. The mvp last season really strengthens his case. Ya Mahomes would for sure- Why do you say Lamar out of curiosity, because of the 2 mvps, all pros etc? Of that list you have- I have him below Brady, brees and Rodgers for sure. Big Ben is probably slightly ahead of him now, but i think that changes in a couple years And got Josh ahead over Rivers, Ryan, Eli. JMO

Probably drop one to the Pats. Seem to have issues with them the most.
-
To think he needs a Lombardi to get in the HOF is ridiculous, just ask Jim Kelly. I agree with Augie, just keep doing what you are doing for about 5 more years. He already has an MVP.

He’s already a lock. A prediction I made after he threw an INT in the endzone in his second NFL game vs the Chargers.
